i just wanted to give a 1 month update. this is still working awesome for me, it hasnt cleared me 100% but its working so awesomely that ill never have to take meds for acne again. this has worked equally if not better than the best anti biotics (bactrim, minocyclin did well for me). im still on my special diet (went off for a few days, got lazy..lol) and ive added in a few supplements to try an get 100% clear.. hope everyone is doing well - caroline
I've had severe acne for a few years now... fresh off my second accutane course, the lil buggers were startin to come back. I read carolines acne symptoms and they were very very similar to mine... so i tried this water thing. Day 3 now, and i have no newbies. i had about 15-20 active spots, including 3 or 4 cysts. Those are all healing and have subsided, while only 1 new one has come in.. it'll be gone in a matter of days. I work at an italian restaurant and eat wtf i want, i just dont drink near my meals, and it's working QUITE well. So all you doubters, don't be so quick to call this method "bullshit". It may not work for everybody, but for the right people it can work wonders. Thanks Caroline.
i agree wtih ben on this one.. because pizza.. i think it was about day 3 or 4 that i realized this was really working for me, and just so you know, almost 2 months into this its still doing awesome, even if i eat junk food. i still have very minor acne now.. (like 2 inflamed pimps an 5-6 small ones) but its so minor that hopefully ill figure out a supplement or something for it.. im now trying natures cure for the rest of it im so glad its working for you!!!
i am taking patethine 3x300mg and tried this too.......after 2 days I got no new acne, but eczema on my palms!! I am not sure if it was becuase of this water regimen. anyway, i stopped your water regimen and my hands are improving... I will try that again in a week to see whats happening
admiral, i have had severe eczema for years now, an the water thing for me doesnt worsen it, it almost seems to help it because i think my acne/ eczema problems are due alot to food particles in my blood stream, causing an inflammatory reaction. anyways.. hope everyone is doing well- keep me posted- caroline
Alright im jumping the bandwagon and giving this a try as well. I just finished my dinner so I'm going to wait an hour or two before any liquid consumption.
However, I agree with BenKweller that the logic behind this cure is sketchy. There must be a solid reasoning behind why diet-induced acne is reduced.
BronzeSurfer here again. Quick update.
1. Great site describing the symptoms and some semi-cures to leaky bowel syndrome.

2. While showering I brainstormed some memories relevant to this subject. My hypothesis is that too much liquid during meals increases abnormal absorption in the small intestine. We all know that the small intestine absorbs nutrients while the large intestine absorbs water and stores waste. What we are doing is putting a blockade between the two so that their processes won't interfere with each other. Liquids pass through the digestive tract extremely quickly compared to solids.
Our goal here is to have NO liquids in the small intestine while the solids are still passing through. In the end, they both join in the large intestine, which is fine since it only absorbs water. In nature, animals never feast and drink water at the same time. The same probably goes for our ancient ancestors.
My only question left is why inflammations only occur on the face and the back, and why in the form of acne.
I might start this as well. One question though:
In the morning, can you start the day with drinking lots of water? and then eat breakfast at 10, instead of your scheduled 8 oclock time.
At 8, i would be taking my pills and drinking tons of water (32 oz.'s), and then follow the 2 hour off on routine?
bad or good idea?

Although it may be a battle to do this, I have a 3 day weekend before school starts up.. so anything to help my face is worth a shot... I use bp cream, sa spray, and some normal all natural cleansers/mositurizers in conjunction with this new method.
i'm used to eatting all the time and drinking around a gallon a day.. so now its up to me to drink that 32 oz. in one sitting, 4 times a day.
I'll post some feedback again real soon.
i'm really prone to eating alot of fruits and veggies. I know they contain water, everything does. but fruits like mangos, oranges, honey dew, watermelon all have a lot more "water" in them...
I'm not sure if I should even eat oatmeal because of the water I use to make it with. 1/2 cup oatmeal, a cup of water.
The only solids I could really stick with are Powerbar's. Which I enjoy.
jimmy, thats soemthing i really dont know.. well.. once i made a protein smoothie, an i considered it a food, an didnt drink water until a few hours later, i didnt notice a problem, but this was only once so who knows.. i would try it though.. because for me, if something causes this water regimen to not work as well, once i get back to doing it strickly my face clears up again.. also.. i eat alot of fruit with no probs
