Used Tretinoin? Rate It:
Cons:
dry skin
kinda itches
hard to tell if inital breakout?
Pros:
- no more DEEP PIMPLES that Benzoyl Peroxide does nothing to (in my case)
- It is very effective and does work eventually
- Smooths out and brightens my skin with regular use
- Apparently slows the development of wrinkles as a bonus
Cons:
- It makes your skin worse before it makes it better, use it for 2-3 months before giving up on it
- It causes mild skin flaking (I use it over night and exfoliate gently in the morning), if you're getting too much of this reduce usage
- It can take a while to build up a "tolerance" to the effective strength (may need to build up to the proper strength, skin may be red and irritating until it gets used to it)
Pros:
I just started using it but I can feel it drying out my acne!
Cons:
Don't have any complaints yet
Pros:
Smooths skin texture, reduces blotchiness, prevents pimples, helps pimples heal faster
Cons:
Takes a full 3 months to have effectivenss and causes initially breakout for the first 3 months (the most acne I have ever had at one time), dry and flaky skin but adjustment occurs through time (I used Retin A micro to decrease this), thinner skin which requires sunblock
Pros:
-Cleared up small pimples around nose area
-Face looks less red the morning after
Cons:
-Has done nothing for blackheads around nose
-Make breakout on forehead bigger and worse
-Bigger and more red pimples are emerging
Pros:
Shrinks Pores, No more pimples after time, great product, no cysts
Cons:
Initial Breakout, Dryness
Pros:
shrinks zits
lightens scars
soft skin
