Product used: Proactiv Solution (Refining Mask)
Pros:
-Helps reduce oil
-Helps dry up zits
-Helps reduce redness
-Tightens pores
Cons:
-Only a mask
-The sulfur smell
Great mask if you have oily skin, but it doesn't really help all that much with acne. I prefer to use Acnomel as a spot treatment rather than use this mask because Acnomel has sulfur too but it's cheaper, has more sulfur, and can be found at most drug stores.

I didn't like this product. I was so excited when I first saw this product after I had tried proactive. I figured that everyone was claming that it helped them more so than proactive ever did. I didn't see any changes in my face at all. Thank goodness it didn't get any worse. The only thing I did notice was a shinier face. No one wants that haha. It was a waste of money personally.

Pros:
works very well for a spot treatment, it reduced the size of my pimples. the really difficult pimples that just wouldn't go away went away and stayed away.
Cons:
the smell isn't very appealing the first few uses, the bottle says to only leave on for 10 minutes,commercial says overnight. overnight works, 10 does not. hard to wash off [easier to shower to wash it off so you don't irritate your skin]
a very good product, the best in the kit.

i used this product at night.First i wash my skin with a face wash, then i dab my face to dry it.I put on the mask for about 10-15 minutes, wash it off and dry my face again, then use the renewing toner and repair lotion, and put mask on overnight

My main con is how small the container is for the price
it works good. i Used to have really bad acne and i tried everything to get rid of it.I thoroughly washed my face in the shower but that didn't seem to do anything. Recently i tried to wash my face and try the mask for 10-15 minutes and then thoroughly rinse my face, and dry my face, but i dab dried it, i didn't rub it or it could irritate my skin. after that i put on the renewing toner and then the repairing lotion. i waited a little bit for that to dry, then i put on the refining mask and rubbed it on the more severe acne and i left it there overnight while i slept. After about 3-4 days i noticed dramatic results. My advice is...don't try spending a lot of money on all those acne treatments. Just make sure you wash your face daily in the morning, and then again at night. Follow my steps and you can see much better results. I hope my information helps.

It Works! it dries out the pimple and it is much smaller after a short time. Great spot treatment.
Cons:
Seems to lose its affect after a while. Maybe if you use it only on one pimple at a time it will work better.

For all those complaining about not being able to shake the bottle, there is a new Bye Bye Blemish (in Canada anways) that it doesn't matter if the bottle gets mixed. It's more of a Gel formula in a different packaging. I picked it up from my local drug store and it works great. My pimples were almost completey gone in 3 days!!! And I can take it anywhere. The smell of this one is not bad at all. So try it out! I found this one does dry out your skin so make sure to use a good moisturizer and you wont have any problems. This bottle cost about $14 CAD.

Great as an overnight spot treatment. Apply a heavy layer of it on actively red, swollen pimples, and they will be much better the next day.
Cons:
I don't think it's all that great as a mask for the whole face. And I don't think it prevents acne.
I have adult onset hormonal acne (with PCOS) and it's very difficult to treat. For me, when acne is crazy out of control, hugely swollen and red, really painful and deep under the skin, this stuff helps me get through it. It helps severe breakouts resolve faster. It soothes the big painful blemishes, quickly reduces redness and swelling, dries pimples out, and makes blemishes come to the surface faster and heal faster. I don't think it does much to prevent acne and I wouldn't recommend it for daily use, but I use it whenever I am really fed up with my skin and it always noticeably improves my skin overnight. It isn't going to make your skin perfect all the time, but it helps when you are having a bad time. It's the best thing I've found to use for a spot treatment. When this stuff dries on your face, it's so absorbent it sucks a lot of crap right out of your face. It does pull a lot of the oils out of your skin so if your skin tends to get dry just be careful. You might not want to use it too often or leave it on too long, or you may just need to use plenty of moisturizer when you remove the mask. I see a lot of people on here complaining about the smell and I honestly have never thought that it smelled bad. I think it smells like clay or chalk. I think it's a clean soothing smell, not gross at all! It does contain sulfur so maybe some people are more sensitive to the smell of sulfur than I am? I've tried a lot of proactiv products and this mask is the only one that ever really gave me any results.
