Pros:

The smell is nice, more moisturizing then on-the-spot

Cons:

balls up with my moisturizer, stings like all h@#%! takes for freakin ever to massage in skin

I'm brown skin and ive been using on the spot for 5 and a half weeks. The one-the-spot got rid of most of my acne but left rough patches and dried out my skin! I switched to this and i've been using it for 3 days. So far so good. It got rid of the rest of my acne that the on-the-spt left. I like the fact that it glides on smooth unlike the other crap. And it doesn't dry my skin too bad. I didnt notice any hyperpigmentation like others. The reason why some people may be experiencing this is because the BP does drie your skin and if you're a person of color your skin will look ashy so moisturize and buy the AHA+.

Pros:

Excellent consistency, Easily Applied, Gentle (as far as BP goes), Affordable, Very limited Fragrance, Goes on Clear and stays clear

Cons:

Shipping is expensive, the gel doesn't come out of the container consistently so I'm not really sure just how much two pumps is supposed to be

Having used various other forms of BP, I can say with confidence that this stuff blows every other BP product I've tried out of the water. I absolutely love the fact that it goes on clear and stays that way, other BP creams and gels I've tried have taken excessive amounts of time to rub in and then burned only to show up as white streaks later on. So before I got a hold of this, I could only use BP at night or when I wouldn't have to go out in public. While it does have your basic BP side effects, namely that it causes a little redness and drying, in comparison to other products it isn't bad at all. It didn't completely clear my acne though, even after being on it for 2 months, but it does help considerably and now that I've swapped my cleanser with a Sal Acid wash and my moisturizer with Aloe Gel the results are improving.

Pros:

Worked somewhat to remove whiteheads mostly.

Cons:

It really made my skin dry and red. I had to stop doing it twice a day and just do it at night, because applying it before you go out for the day is a ridiculous task. The moisturizer burns, and the layers are very thick.

This product got me all excited but ultimately disappointed. The irritation was enough to make me stop because my skin was bright red and dry. The stuff rubs off during the day also, in white rolls. And, it will bleach clothes and washcloths. The moisturizer really burns so much that i would put a fan up to my face to stop the burning sensation. This product didn't work well enough for me to endure the irritation it brought to my skin. The cleaner is very gentle and nice though, so i do recommend that.

Pros:

Worked to get rid of some acne, didn't dry out my skin too badly.

Cons:

1.The BP couldn't keep up with the acne, it would get rid of 1, and 2 new ones would pop up
2. I developed Hyperpigmentation because of the BP, that has destroyed my self-esteem.
3. Makes everything smell bad if you use it at night.

BP is not great to use in the long term. The benefits are not worth the risks 1. It can promote tumors 2. Causes sun senstivity (can lead to skin cancer) 3. Causes hyperpigmentation in some people (like me) 4. Slows down the healing of acne scars 5. Smells bad, (not a problem if you use a moisturizer over it) 6. May dry your skin out. Benzoyl peroxide works by releasing free radicals (oxygen) into your skin, penetrating deep into the pores killing P. acne, that can not survive in the presence of oxygen (anaerobic bacteria). The free radicals however, are proven to be carsogenic. Use this product with caution and definetly not for a long term solution for acne.

Pros:

90% clearer skin, helps pimples go away faster, prevents oiliness

Cons:

It took a while to get used to it. I had to go through an embarrassing one and half month stage where my skin was noticeably flaking off everywhere. I also think the shipping prices are too high.

The miracle treatment to get rid of acne! Make sure you follow the instructions exactly. For the first two months I was doubtful about this working until I found out I was using way less than I should have been. Once I started using the correct amount my acne cleared in about two months. Having struggled with acne for 6 years, I have tried almost everything (even Accutane) and nothing I tried got my skin as clear as this. I still have a few small blackheads here and there, but even when they do erupt into zits they go away quickly and are easily covered with makeup. My skin is also less oily. USE THIS PRODUCT. YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!

Pros:

Worked well for me. Easy to apply, blends into skin well & absorbs quickly. No fragrance to speak of which is very important to me as I am very sensitive to smells. Great value for the money.

Cons:

I wish they would go back to the tube container. I travel a lot and the pump bottle does not travel well.

Prior to finding the Acne.org BP product I spent a LOT more $$ on BP products that were smaller, harsher on my skin and often didn't completely absorb. I would highly recommend this BP product over any other.

Pros:

Good price for a large amount.

Cons:

No matter how long I wait after I apply this product, my moisturizer always rolls up on my face. I will actually go back to Proactiv (although Proactiv is so much more costly).

Good buy for the product but my skin felt better after using Proactiv's solution and I will continue to use it. I do not have bad acne at all, but I felt the proactiv is a better choice for me.

Pros:

extremely good at acne-removal and prevention

Cons:

dried out my sensitive cheeks, gel did not absorb into my skin well at all

I have been using this BP for about five months. At the beginning, my skin was very dry and flaky as expected, but I stuck with it because I was told my skin would get used to it. Eventually, I stopped getting very dry on everywhere on my skin except for my cheeks. My cheeks just never grew accustomed to the bp. The gel did not absorb into my skin well for me and it was really thick, which made me feel like I had something on my face. The bp made the application of my moisturizer not very smooth. When I would go in the shower, my jaw line for some reason would feel irritated. I know that everyone's skin is different, so I still reccomend that people at least try to see if it works for them.

Pros:

Can help to prevent the formation of future acne.

Cons:

Classified as category 3 product, "safety unknown" by the FDA...... (it use to be category 1, "safe", but they reversed it.) Generates free radicals which will slow the healing process. Linked to cancer, and is known as a tumor promoting agent.

Been tested on mice and is regarded as a tumor promoter in them. Causes redness and dry skin. I used this for a long time and it did help somewhat but never actually cured me of my acne. After doing research on it I've decided to never use it again due to the fact that it is really bad for your skin. It accelerates aging of the skin and when exposed to sunlight becomes a free radical creator which can cause skin cancer. I've begun using Dr. Wexler's products (bought at bath and body works) and me skin has never been this good. Some of the products use salicylic acid which can actually benefit your skin. My advice - use at your own risk.....this stuff may be more dangerous to your health than you think, do some research and decide for yourself!
