Acne.org : Treatment (Benzoyl Peroxide - 2.5%)

Well I been using the regimen for 2 weeks now and my acne seems to get clearer but what sucks is that the big pimples don't go away it just stays the same omg!!!!!!

I began using this product as Dan recommended, slowly wk 1) 1/2 a pump only at night, wk2) 1 pump only at night then wk 3) I tried using it in the morning as well and my skin became so dry it was pretty much unbearable though it was much clearer... so I settled for only using this at night. Not to mention, you're not supposed to get this in your eye area and that's pretty much impossible if you wear make up. I still get pimples but they're fewer and far between and it works better than pretty much anything I've tried, well at least with the least amount of side effects.

I've been using Dan's BP treatment since when he first started with the blue tubes. I had severe acne during high school and calmed down a bit after taking Accutane. Dan's BP was the only thing that made my face completely clear. I tried Murad and Proactiv and those didn't help my skin at all, I was still breaking out. You will have to put it on twice a day if you want to maintain a clear face because sometimes I miss a few days and I start breaking out again. It doesn't dry my face, maybe because I have oily skin. I don't usually put on a moisturizer either. One last thing, for those of you who converted from tube to bottle like me, I didn't see much difference between the two. The bottle was fine dispensing the BP, I pretty much had the same control as the tube.

just don't use anything! its always better to leave ur skin natural. You beak out due to hormones and when you get older you will not break out soo much. I right now have acne and whiteheads all over my face. Also rough skin on my forehead and checks because I rubbed it! bad mistake, but i would have gotten soo much acne because if I didn't use the produce. it made my skin break out more. I wish i just listen to my parents and not use anything. they ahve nice skina dn so do my brothers and sisters. Its difficult for me becaue I am embarrasses of my skin. But it makes me feel better to tell peoople to just love ur skin and you don't need chemicals to improve ur skin. it will get better in time when you get older. I hope mine will.. good luck everyone. I highly recommend this treatment. I had severe acne on my face (around 10 - 15 at a time). I've tried all kinds of products, over the counter and prescriptions. My dermatologist even put me on birth control and it did not work for my skin. After using the regimen for about two months, my face cleared up. I even saw results after the first try. After years of acne, I've also realized that benzoyl peroxide works better for me than salicyc acide (even though most over the counter products use this as the main ingredient). But Dan's treatment bottle is the best deal given its reasonable price and effectiveness. After three months, I went off the product and still have not had a breakout since, which is great because I've been breaking out continuously and most severely for the past year. Unfortunately, I have some acne scarring from my earlier acne. I wish I had found this website sooner. I highly recommend trying this production.

Skin desease is something from the inside going haywire. a chemcial ointment cant be the answer

Get, moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. Do not quit early, give it 4 months before deciding to quit.

I LOVE this product! I've used many, many products over the years, but have never been successful in my battle against acne -- until now! Since using The Regimen, I don't have breakouts. I will get a pimple every now & then, mainly when I'm not using The Regimen correclty/consistently, but it goes away very quickly once I return to proper usage. I've always been told that I was pretty in spite of my acne, but for the first time in my entire life, I was told recently that I have beautiful skin. The Regimen may seem a little pricey, but this makes it worth it -- that, and the fact that the products last forever! If you haven't bought it yet, do so now -- your search for an acne treatment that works is over!

after reading so much hype on this product on this website,i thought to give it a try,however,haven't seen no improvement yet. i even have more red cystic acne on forehead,cheeks,jaw and neck :( unlike other people,i m not having overdried skin, after using it. hopefully,it ll change but dont think so. just another product promising a lot but not doing much as of yet

Okay, I have used this for a few months. Here is my honest opinion of this. I have written a review for it before and gave it 3 stars out of 5 overall, but I am changing it now to 2. Here is why. You can tell that your skin hates this product. It seems to me that my skin was pretty much "dead" after a while using this. Not only was my skin always flakey, it just looked dull and lifeless. But to be honest, Acne affects me so badly on a psychological level that I would be the first one to say that it's not very important. As long as I can get on with my life and not have my Cheeks covered in Acne. So the real problem with this product is it seems to make hyper pigmentation marks (Red marks left over from acne, which is worse than acne it self!) last FOREVER. Serious, I read that it did this, but I also read Ran saying it didn't. So I thought I would see for myself. I can now confirm that expect you're red marks to stick around for ages if you use this. I have now quit using it
