  1. I know sun makes them worse, and I avoid the sun religiously, but I recently got a job at a grocery store in the prepared foods department, where I have to spend a bit of time in front of a big hot oven everyday. The temperature can get pretty warm and you definitely sweat a bit, but my question is can plain old heat from ovens darken your hyperpigmentation? And if so is there anything I could wear to prevent this? Thanks!
  2. Hi everyone, back in november 21, 2012 i got off accutane. Since then i have never had one day go by without me sweating and feeling SUPER HOT, if theres one thign i hate more than anythign its sweating, it ruins my clothes, makes it uncomfortable to drive and random burst of hotness through out my whole body. What can i do about this over heating its driving me insane, i cant stop sweating .
  3. Hello Acne.org people !!! I've searching trough lots of topics regarding my question, and i can't find a "complete" response lol. So,i love styling my hair, and i did before time ago before accutane. When this acne issue started i stopped doing it since my confidence was destroyed. Now, i fell (and look) a lot better,so i started doing it again. But i have a big concern. My hair is really straight. Accutane already dried it completely. So,now it's dry and a bit thinner. This c
  4. I think it's perhaps the sun and the heat (it's ALWAYS hot where I live). My dermatologist told me to stay away from the sun because it might cause more pimples/acne (don't know the difference ), but the problem is, sometimes I can't avoid going outside! In a couple days, my family's going to go for a family trip and I'm sure I won't be allowed to stay in the hotel all the time I really don't wanna go on the trip cuz my acne is finally beginning to clear up. After it breaks out due to being
  5. Hi everyone! I'm eighteen years old and pretty acne-prone. I've usually had a sprinkling of acne on my back but not a ton. The past month or so, it got way worse. Do yall have any ideas why this would be? Some factors that have changed...I've recently stopped taking my acne antibiotic because my face is looking better. I have light acne in my face now but not severe. Also its been cold so I got a heated blanket. I know that sounds weird but it may have an effect. Also, how can I treat t
  6. Hi Everyone, I am new on this site. Please forgive me if I make any errors. I would like to share my acne story. Who knows maybe someone can help me! I am a 26 year old male and recently, I decided to live a healthier lifestyle. I eat clean (moderate carbs, loads of veggies), do not smoke or drink and workout 4-5 times a week including cardio. I have lost a tremendous amount of weight, 18 kgs to be exact. I feel great! However, I have noticed an insane amount of breakouts every time I wor
  7. hey i went on holiday with a box of accutane pills and i left them in the heat by accident and every pill that i get out, the shape is deformed, obviously they have like semi melted from the heat... will these pills still be effective or should i get onto a new box with fresh pills? I don't want to waste my time eating them if they are not going to do anything for me...
  8. Hi all! Does anyone fund that their acne gets worse in the warmer months? I do alot of walking so can't do much about the excess sweat...not sure if its related...does anyone else get more flare ups when they sweat more? Tia x x x
  9. Hey, I've got these bumps all over my face, they're skin coloured bumps, almost like goosebumps but if you squeeze them, blackhead-like clogs come out, just they're more light (in colour) than what comes out of blackheads. I've been to a doctor and he claims it could be due to the heat, so im guessing this could be a heat rash sort of thing? It is hot where i live and i recently came back from the beach so it's gotten worse since then. Has anyone had any experience with this? What do you b
  10. So I have these tiny bumps all over my forehead. A little pit of a back story. I have had clear skin for most my life. I am 19 years old I started working out about 3 months ago. I was on weigh protein. The protein (from what I think) made zits appear on my jaw line. I started applying face washes and srubs to clear the acne. After about 2 month I sort have got it under control. About 2 weeks ago, I developed these tiny bumps all over my head. I don’t know if it’s from the gym, because that’s wh
