Pros:

Less oil, completely cleared my skin. I had 7 pimples last week and there are 0-1 today. Pores appear tighter.

Cons:

very drying with chapped lips and dry flaky skin. 1 day of diarrehea and 1 day of constipation. burning face as drying occured.

I would definetely reccomend it, but maybe try less quantity first. The first 3 days I did 3 G which is 6 500mg pills and seen effects instantly. Then I increased to 5G a day which is 10 pills a day and it seems to work great for me. Its just extremely drying for me with the soap I use and differin gel 0.3. But, it has been a 1-2 wks so far and my scars are claring and my skin only had 1 pimple that came back. That is a drastic improvemnet from having 6 or more at once. I was about to start on accutane next wk so hopefully this continues to work. Regiment Palmolive soap( cheap soap that completely dries skin out. Drink only water now Less oily or fatty foods vitamin C 1 pill vitamin E 1 pill vitamin a 1 pill fish oil 1 pill B complex 100mg ( just started taking today to prevent hair loss)

Pros:

Very effective. Skin is consistently smoother and less oily. Never get those deep lingering infections

Cons:

Swallowing tons of pills, occoasional diarreah during high dosage

I have been using B5 relatively consistently for about 5 years now. I tend to vary the dosage, high for a couple of weeks, moderate for a month or 2, then minimal or none for several weeks. This approach seems to keep the effectiveness going better for me, but I admit it is not a scientific study. No question this stuff works for me.

Pros:

Less oil, smaller pores

Cons:

Breakouts seem to have gotten worse.

Like the fact that skin is less oily, but breadouts have increased, are bigger and painful. I have not had any real side effects except for the increased breakouts. Am going to speak with dermatologist this week. Am likely to ask about returning to use of Accutane. Have been on it two other times in my 20's and loved it. Had hoped Vilantae would work, but not so sure. Expensive yes but not as expensive as Accutane and less side effects than Accutane. But it is worth the try.

Pros:

reduced oil production
no new break outs
helped reduce red marks

Cons:

aching joints (occasionally)
a bit sleepy.

it works, but not for everyone. there is no way of telling whether it will work for you or not, but i do recommend trying it if you are on your last string of trying everything. BRAND DOES MATTER. (i recommend the GNC brand)

Pros:

My skin has never been so clear!

Cons:

A little pricey

I started using B5 about six weeks ago. My skin started to improve within two weeks. I had pretty bad cystic acne before and nothing my Dr. prescribed helped. My acne killed my confidence. I still get a zit or two, but they disappear within a couple of days unlike before when they hung around for weeks. I've tried so many things and this is the only product that's given me anything to write about. I take 15 pills a day and that seems to do the trick. I also use Retin-A at night and 2.5% Benzoyl in the morning.

Reduced my body acne. T-zone less oily. Fewer breakouts on cheeks.

Cons:

Was tempted to use accutane because nothing else worked. Started using SkinB5 6 weeks ago and the results have been better than expectd. Acne on my shoulders and back has almost cleared and my face is much less oily.

Pros:

increased energy, smaller pores, less pimples, less oil

Cons:

a ton of pills, gas,

i started taking 6 grams of b5, 75 mgs of zinc, and a multi vitamin a few weeks ago. with in 2 weeks my face is showing improvment, smaller pores, less pimples, pimples that do show up are less severe & heal quickly (due to the zinc) i bumped my intake of b5 to 10 grams per day a few days ago & have noticed that my face is less oily than before. i have tried everything as well, even accutane. i am 31 and have been suffering for the past 14 years. it will be nice if the actually will cure once & for all!

Pros:

Much clearer skin, relatively cheap, no side affects

Cons:

none

I have been taking it for a week and my skin is so much clearer. I was dubious about trying B5 because the dose that people were reccommending was around 20g meaning i would have to take 40 tablets a day. However, i have been taking 2g a day and it is a godsend. Its cleared my skin almost completely and there are no side affects for me. Please dont dismiss this product after hearing bad reviews, at least try it for 10 days and even at a small dose you should see dramatic results.
