Pros:

Reduces oil
clears skin
Shrinks pores
Good for hair and energy

Cons:

Gives massive headache if you drink alcohol with it.

I may have light acne. But that is from sugar restriction galore. I have very oily skin and as far back as I can remember the only thing that has ever given me drastic improvement in oil production and thus size of pores and skin texture is b5. I would recommend working your way up to the 10 though. Also as for people who are concerned with the price of buying the pills just buy it in bulk. They sell b5 powder at 500 grams a pop for a fraction of what you would pay for the same amount in capsules. Yes downing a scoopful of that stuff tastes horrible but the results and money saving is well worth it. Honestly, I think a lot of the side effects some people are noting may be from all those vitamin covers they are consuming.

Pros:

I got Clear Totally
Defo recommend this nothing to lose

Cons:

Buy pills on the internet so much cheaper

Hi, 24, m, I used this product before and it worked perfectly(10g) i took 20 tabs a day spaced out and kicked in 2 weeks was great. I eventually ran out of caps(2000) and skin was flawless so didn consider gettin more(silly). 2 - 3 Months later skin was back to its oily ways so i decided to get more but this time 1g tabs so i would only have to swallow 10 a day, But i am 5,6 weeks in and nothing has changed with my skin still bad the only thing i notice is dry lips, I read below that if you stop taking them the next time you need to increase your dosage but im not sure But just to let you know the product worked for me perfect i was meant to write a review ages ago but was never on this site cause skin was so good.. But now doesn't seem to be working but its still early days they say you should stay on them for 3 months.. Anyone have different effects the second time taking them?????

Pros:

greatly reduces OIL!!!! shrinks pores

Cons:

my eyes get red and ive heard there are some long term bad effects

ive researched this alot and all i have to say is try it. Its way safer than accutane. I also didnt megadose like your supposed to i took 5 grams for 2 months then 3 grams then now im down to .5 grams a day and it still works. I stopped for a couple of weeks and boom oily face and acne came back. So basically try it folks. Its called PANTOTHENIC ACID at the stores

Pros:

Really works quickly
No new breakouts since starting
Skin no longer an oil slick

Cons:

Dehydration as side effect
Cracked mouth corners
Not available in grocery stores (needed to order online)

After 15+ years of battling adult acne, this is the only thing that has worked for me. I saw drastic improvement after only one day of treatment, though I understand some people need longer too see positive results. If you decide to try B5, here is my advice: 1. Just buy whatever generic B5 supplement you can find... those specialty products seem overpriced to me. If you search online vitamin suppliers, you can find 1000 mg pills (less pill popping than with 500 mg pills) 2. Definitely, definitely, definitely take a B-complex supplement too. 3. Drink *lots*of water or you might dehydrate (I did) I would definitely recommend giving B5 a try if you're battling persistent acne.

Pros:

This product has definitely reduced both skin oil and acne, as well as my pore size. Being 47, I now get infrequent breakouts, but these have been reduced greatly too. Skin tone is quite a bit smoother and more refined Vilantae works! Recommended

Cons:

The dose is large, but I have not had any side effects, and the excess is eliminated naturally by the body as it's water soluble.

I like this product very much. However, I did read one reply from another taking B-5 and the person experienced some unusual neck weakness. I think I feel that too. Almost like your neck gets tired, and you want to rest it. Or it seems harder to hold up. I had noticed this vagely a few times, but didn't contribute it to Vilantae. Yet since reading that another has experienced this too, and associating it with Vilantae, is a issue that may need to be explored further. Has anybody else taking this had this experience?

Pros:

-Easy to take and carry with you
-Tastes great

Cons:

-haven't found any yet

Be patient. Clear Complexion B5 took 3-5 days before I saw results. My skin is oily so acne breakouts happen easily. I've been using it for a few months and have seen amazing results. Try it for yourself.

Pros:

- Acne is completely gone
- No side effects

Cons:

- Expensive because you have to take so much

It took me a while before I even considered vitamin supplements as acne treatment. It just never crossed my mind until I saw these reviews about six months ago. Zinc seemed to be the most popular, so I initially tried that. It seemed to work alright, but I was still getting minor breakouts and it sometimes left me feeling sick. It also made my eyes really dry which is annoying with contacts. I stopped Zinc, then tried B-5, and within a couple weeks, my acne was completely gone. My face hasn't been entirely clear since I was 12, and I'm 21 now. I truly can't believe how well this works, and I was such a doubter of vitamin supplements in the beginning. As long as I also wash my face with a simple cleanser every morning and night, I never see a single zit. No more skin toners or Benzoyl Peroxide. Also, I went on Accutane when I was 15, and this stuff does the exact same thing with absolutely no side effects. Amazing. The only unfortunate part is that, because of the amount you need to take, it can be expensive. I end up spending $70-80 a month on two orders of 300 capsules. I take eight in the morning and eight at night, so 8 grams daily. This is probably overkill though, and I'm going to experiment with lower dosages.

Pros:

Super fast results
Don't need to take with food
Actually works!

Cons:

A lot to take
Have to buy a new bottle almost every month

I take 10 500mg tablets a day (5 in morning and 5 in evening). So that's 5 grams. This whole time I thought I was taking 10 grams but just realised I don't. I guess 5g is enough for me. Anyway, it definitely works and make sure you take a b complex vitamin when you take b5. I use a mega b complex tablet in morning and night with the b5. I also take a zinc tablet once a day and sometimes vitamin e but not sure if its really doing much. I highly recommend cetaphil as a cleanser in the shower. I tried QV but it dries my skin. Im a 21 year old male and have had mild acne since 13 and have tried everything. This is the first thing that has worked for more than a week and is also the least time consuming.

Pros:

i didnt megadose like alot of the other people here on this review site.165lb male took a 150 mg capsule once when i woke up at 830 am and once when i got back home from work at 6pm and i would say my acne would be in the 'light' category now.dont really get any massive whiteheads like i was getting before .

Cons:

only real con for me was i would feel slightly sick for a couple of minutes if i took a pill without any food.

it DEFINITELY helped me.i feel much better leaving the house these days.i may end up upping the dosage at some point to see if it would complete clear me up
