Pros:

clears skin but not completely
smoothes skin

Cons:

makes the whole house smell literally
makes your face smell

i use it twice a day and apply it with a cotton toner pad sold at target. it works very well but my wife hates it cause it makes the house stink badly. combined with drinking warm lemon juice i have seen better than average results and believe me this has worked better than everything i've tried and i have tried absolutly everything including accutane which is a complete scam. acne comes back after like a month after you discontinue use.

Pros:

Clears Acne
Evens Skin Tone
Natural

Cons:

Slightly Stings
Can Slightly Dry

I've been using this in combination with Ponds cold cream for about a week now. In that time my skin has improved a lot. My skin tone has evened out, I haven't had a major break out like I was having for a while, and my skin is soft feeling. I wash with Ponds once in the morning and once at night, followed by a topical application of raw cider vinegar with a little water to water it down. It does sting a little, especially on open or healing blemishes, but it goes away pretty quickly. I was trying to use all natural ingredients on my face and body to clear my acne before trying Ponds (I used coconut oil for a few weeks, it didn't work for me unfortunately). Anyhow, I am attracted to this method because it is all natural and unprocessed. Vinegar is also great for the hair with some baking soda. I do not mind the smell, either. I would definitely recommend this.

Pros:

Cheap, effective, not only helps mild to moderate acne, but also helps clear up seriously plugged up pores (milia and the like)

Cons:

Smells like apple cider vinegar, can sting (especially after shaving, which I don't recommend)

One of the side benefits of ACV is that it not only disinfects, but acts as an AHA to help slough away dead skin cells. This helped clear up my case of milia (rough, bumpy skin on the forehead). However, after I stopped using ACV, it came back. So it doesn't seem to be a cure, but a pretty effective treatment.nonetheless. Also, I've noticed some differences in quality of ACV. Typically the stuff you find at a health food store will be organic and good; the Heinz stuff you find at a grocery store will do nothing. Not sure if this is the case with everyone, but it's been my experience that not all ACVs are alike!

Pros:

nothing so far!

Cons:

has a smell, but you get used to it.

i started breaking out really bad a couple of weeks ago, and i was using actual acne washes! i read about apple cider vinegar and decided to give it a try. i wash my face every morning and every night and afterwards, i dab a cotton pad into the vinegar (which i dilute with water) and rub it on my face. So far it's worked! A few days ago, my face was full of nasty infected pimples. And now it's clear, expect for some scarring. So far I am so happy and stoked with this product. I'm about to start taking apple cider vinegar pills to see if i notice any difference with that.

Pros:

softens hair, great detox, helps clear up complexion

Cons:

tastes and smells bad but so worth it

I use Braggs vinegar for a vinegar/water hair rinse. It makes my hair so soft. This is the only conditioner I use. I also drink 2 tablespoons twice a day of the vinegar. Cleans out the system and improved metabolism (also increases energy). My complexion is clearer since I've started doing this. I've also switched to all natural skin and hair products. Makes such a big difference.

Pros:

Effectively controls acne, reduces breakouts, can be used as an all-over treatment, affordable

Cons:

Smells terrible the first time few times you apply it and the initial burn and redness may freak you out at first

I picked up a bottle of raw, unfiltered, ACV from a health food store per this sites recommendation. At $4 for a 32oz bottle, it's worth a shot. Prior to this, I'd tried practically everything. Proactive is a joke. Walmart's selection of Benzoyl Peroxide and Salicylic Acid products, over time, over dried my face when used as directed. I've now been using ACV for about two months now and this is the clearest my skin has been since I was 10! I apply to my whole face using a cotton ball and I picked up a $1 spray bottle to apply to the rest of my body. When I stared using it, I was applying it everyday for about a week before bed. When it began to dry my face, I started using it every other day. Now, I'm back to daily, but I only leave it on for 20 minutes prior to a shower in the mornings. This may not work for everyone, but I'd say it's worth a try. Use it, and find out what application works to get your acne under control!

Pros:

GETS RID OF ACNE, makes skin soft, reduces redness

Cons:

Stings a little and hurts the eyes if you get too close and smells funny

I use just plain vinegar you would put on fries diluted to a 1:1 ratio with water twice a day after washing with Biore Ice Cleanser. Its great because it keeps acne away. If I see a pimple, I just dab a little more on that area and it gets smaller and the redness disappears fast! I wish that I had heard about this sooner. The smell is kind of bad but if you wait for it to dry on your face and then moisturizer with a nice smelling moisturizer you can't even smell it at all. As for the reducing redness on acne scars it seems to be working but i'll bet it takes a while to see great results. You (yes even you) should try it, it really works and what do you have to lose?!?!
