Pros:

well at first i thought my cystic acne was almost gone but i guess not no more.. i started using birth control for acne too so that might of made it worse.

Cons:

i have trouble sleeping at night and i have very dry scalp..i dont know if the dry scalp is do to this med.. but it sucks!!

i am on my third week and i plan to try this med for three full months... only time will tell and plus im taking birth control for my acne too. and persa gel topical medication. i hope to GOD this will help.. the topical med has made my skin super red and dry but i guess thats how it starts.. hopefully it clears up!!!! try this why not??

Pros:

It cleared up my chest & back within a week

Cons:

Side effects can be scary...I went off of this after researching more about it's effects. And it makes you very sun sensitive, which I didn't like b'cause I like to keep a little tan - the healthy glow seems to make my complexion brighter.

I believe this drug will clear you up if you are willing to risk the serious side effects. I saw improvement within a week, but didn't stay on it long enough to really see. Prior to this, I was on Minocycline which helped, but it didn't help THAT much. And next up is Cephalexin - the side effects are much less severe and I'm hoping that it will work much better than the Mino. Wish me luck. I'll keep you posted.

Pros:

It is was helping. Been on it for almost 8 months, but after 6 months

Cons:

I notice that i was getting strange blistering bumps on my forehead and then it became more and more..like it was spreading. I believe it's because of this meds, because before and

i think you have to keep trying and stop right away when you see signs of side effects.
