If You want a CHEAP BP that actually works go to rite aid and get the white bottle that says acne gel, It says rite aid on it as well. That stuff works amazingly.!!

Pros:

Spot Treatment

Cons:

*post inflammatory hyper pigmentation
*scars

Hi, I have light brownish skin. I was getting desperate to clear my face. I have tried every prescription from my dermatologist, and nothing had ever worked. I stumbled across this site and choose to use the kit from acne.org. I used it exactly how he instructs us for 3 whole months. The first month, I had the worse acne of my life. The breakouts and flare ups were beyond tolerable. By the end of the third month, I have developed horrible scars and hyper pigmentation on my cheeks from where the cystic acne is. I am not sure if this works on Caucasian skin, but it certainly did not work for me. My face looks like a bloody hell right now, which is the sole result of this acne.org kit. I am writing this review because I do not want others to experience what has happened to me. I followed the procedure religiously and now I am left with indents all over my cheeks. PLEASE PLEASE read this review before purchasing. If you still think that the product will work for you, be my guest and purchase it. I went back to my dermatologist and he said putting on that much benzoyl peroxide, as directed, lead to my face scarring. Now, I am using Retin A Micro to help alleviate my scars and hopefully in the next couple of months my scars will diminish.

Pros:

Mostly cleared skin for first 2 months. Easy to apply, dries quickly. Inexpensive.

Cons:

After experiencing initial clearing, my skin started breaking out again. Would get about one large one on my chin or above my lips per week that would take 1-2 weeks to heal while leaving red marks that lasted a few months. Never before had I dealt with such large pimples and the red marks that came along with them.

It is worth a try. Prior to trying the acne.org regimen I had been on prescription Differin and Benzaclin for about 6 years (I'm 23 yrs old.) I started breaking out again after college and wanted to give the regimen a shot. While it didn't work for me as well as I had hoped, I think it can be effective for individuals with light acne and even if you're acne is moderate it may be the solution for you. Now I am back on prescriptions from my dermatologist and my skin is looking much better.

Pros:

I'm a 35 year old guy who has suffered with persistant mild facial acne for 20 years, I had tried everything until I saw this website and the benzoyl peroxide success stories. In short this works, its crazy after having tried everything from facials to antibiotics, to topicals, to yeast free diets ..you name it and I tried it. Now that I have found what i consider a heart breakingingly simple acne cure, i can kiss my old foe acne goodbye. Its been a long time coming :)

Cons:

Very slight redness, and possible drying of skin.

Like so many others on this website have said, the bottom line is benzoyl peroxide 2.5% works, you must apply it day and night, and if you do, within a few weeks you will notice your acne lessening, yes there is some redness, and your acne scars will take longer to disappear but ultimately if you are disciplined with using benzoyl peroxide it will reward you with CLEAR SKIN, I have a smile on my face writing the words 'clear skin' after 20 years of spots!!!

Pros:

it absolutely gets rid of acne!!! its wonderful, i much prefer the gel over bp creams. it never gets white or gets sweat off easily

Cons:

can cause flakiness if you don't know how much to use and start off with too much

This saved my life. I couldn't trust any products and they didn't work well. ANYONE with acne...do the regimen. Study it, adhere to it, and basically follow it religiously and you won't have acne.

Pros:

Dries clear
Pores Smaller Instantly
Sucks out the Oil
Smooth Skin

Cons:

NONE

I was skeptical at first because I have had acne for 15 years now moderatly severe. This has been a life saver. I can now go out with no makeup on and my skin looks great. Only time I break out a bit is that special time of the month because of hormones you know...Thank you Daniel for a great affordable product! I currently am using Purpose Cleanser and Acne.org BP but may add more to my regimine later. Works great!

Pros:

Cleared up ALL acne, and after a month I was able to reduce the dosage to a small amount once a day and maintain clear skin.

Affordable, even with shipping.

Cleared blackheads too, even though I had heard that it didn't work very well for those.

Cons:

I've heard that this can make your skin very dry and peely, but I have oily skin and didn't experience excessive dryness.

I had red, inflamed acne from the age of 10. (Luckily it was never cystic, though). It settled down a bit when I started trying various topical acne treatments as a teenager, and after puberty I mostly just got tiny little bumps with no head scattered across certain areas, plus the occasional big whitehead. Even though it was less noticeable, I was still very unhappy with the texture of my skin, and I had some small blackheads on my nose and cheeks that would never go away no matter what I tried. I'm 20 now, and I felt that I really needed to get rid of the acne in order to look more like an adult, especially since I'm petite and often get mistaken for being younger than I am. I bought the BP, AHA+, and jojoba oil. The BP completely cleared my skin within the first week, and it felt so amazing to run my fingers over my face and feel smooth skin for the first time in ten years. The AHA+ has also helped make it smoother, and the jojoba oil definitely provides long-lasting moisture. Overall I am very satisfied with the products I purchased.

Pros:

None

Cons:

-Made acne 5 times worse
-Dried my skin out worse then any other product
-Made my cheeks really red (looks like a sunburn)
-Made my back and neck really itchy and dry
-Expensive with s&h.

I have very sensitive skin, but NOTHING I have ever used has messed up my skin this much (and trust me I have tried almost everything). I was on Proactiv before I started using this and I don't know why it gets such a bad reputation cause it cleared me up a lot but I still had about 5 pimples on my forehead so I switched hoping I would get completely clear, but this did the complete opposite. My acne is way worse then it was before I started using Proactiv, and not only that, my chin and under my nose is extremely dry and its like peeling. I would NOT recommend this to anyone and I don't know why it has such good ratings cause I would have been better off just using soap and water. And it looks cheap and works worse then the cheapest OTC products but its more expensive then most things I've tried, I got the 2-4 month big kit or whatever and it came out to $80 with shipping and handling. So I say don't even waste your time and money with this stuff its some of the worst stuff out there (well for me it is). I don't know why I trusted Dan Kern, hes not a doctor or a famous skin care person, hes just a normal person. I never even heard of him before this stuff, I shouldn't have trusted him :/

AMAZING job clearing up my skin. FOLLOW the instructions laid forth on this website.

Cons:

Does dry but using the jojoba oil with my moisturizer really helps

LOVE IT! Price is great, product is great and it delivers when you use it like you should. I have used Maxclairty, Proactive and soo much more. This works but follow the directions!

Pros:

nice consistency-no odor.

Cons:

burned my skin, leaving painful red rashes.

unfortunately i didn't have the success of others. when i first got it I followed the directions, initially it irritated me a bit but I expected that and kept using it in hopes of it getting better. now if i use it it causes really bad red burning on my skin, that takes days to heal. I can use the cleanser but not the peroxide treatment. for people with hyper sensitive skin this product may be too harsh. I feel frustrated that I spent so much money on these products to have such a bad reaction.
