Pros:

It works well and even cleared up my razor bumps from shaving.

Cons:

There should be a warning about getting this cream anywhere near your lips or the soft skin near the eyes because gave me rashes in those areas.

Do not apply this product near your lips or around the eyes as you are applying all over your face. Even though it's only 2.5% BP, it is very powerful and it can severely dry your skin if you don't use enough moisturizer.

Pros:

- See results shortly after first use.
- More effective than anything you can buy in the drug store (in my experience).
- Really works for under-the-skin breakouts.

Cons:

- Makes my sensitive skin sting, itch, peel and turn red, which is really hard to cover up with makeup.
- Expensive for Canadian customers.
- Takes a while to dry, and while waiting you can't lay down on a pillow or get close to your significant other for fear of it rubbing off onto sheets/them.

I bought the entire skin care system from Acne.org, and I have to say that I am pretty satisfied overall. I have very sensitive skin, and although it does make my skin sting, red and itchy, I just deal with it to get the amazing results. Make sure you use the products exactly as described on the bottles or it will not work properly. Also, don't skip any treatments as your acne will come back fairly quickly if you do. I missed one treatment and broke out all over again. It's been over a week now and the products are finally starting to get rid of my new breakout slowly but surely. I definitely recommend this to anyone who has tried Neutrogena, Clearasil, etc. with crappy results.

Pros:

Actually works

Cons:

Can be drying and irritating at the beginning of regimen use

Everyone has to try this product (on Dan's Regimen) at least once before they try anything else. I have literally tried EVERYTHING, even Benzoyl Peroxide, but not using this regimen. You need to give it time to work. I think that the only way that it will not work for someone is if they do not stick with it long enough. I really didn't see significant results until almost 3 months after I started! Stay with the regimen and it will be worth it! :)

Pros:

Feels great - smooth, goes on easily, isn't too thick or thin.
I've really seen a difference in my skin - I have mildish acne but it gets worse around my period. However this hasn't happened since I've been using it.

Cons:

My skin is a little bit dry, but not as bad as it has been in the past and I haven't even tried using a moisturizer yet, so I'm not worried. It doesn't smell great, but it's not terrible.

I've had acne for probably four or five years, and it's been a constant source of embarrassment/irritation to me. My doctor had been saying that BP was the only thing that works, but I hadn't been able to find anything less than 10%, which was way too harsh for my skin. I'm going to be using this product indefinitely.

Pros:

Heals acne lesions and gives my skin a smoother texture

Cons:

I occassionally get small whiteheads even after being on it a while

This is a great product let me tell you when I go into a store and see one ounce BP tubes selling for 6 bucks and I see 4 times the amount selling for a few bucks more my gosh and this stuff works without the ugly white and drying....it's easy to apply and there is a good amount in there

Works Very Well
I am a 24 year old female and have been dealing with moderate, extremely persistent acne on and off for about 10 years. I have been on five rounds of Accutane which all helped for awhile but the acne would come back. After countless OTC products and other prescriptions/oral medications, I finally decided to try the acne.org regimen. I spent a lot of time reading reviews and trying to decide if it was something I wanted to use. I was hesitant as I live in Canada and knew that the shipping would be expensive. However, about two and a half months ago I decided to order the starter kit. I have been using it faithfully and diligently 2x per day as directed and my skin is now completely clear. It took about 5-6 weeks until my skin really became clear and the breakouts stopped. I have now been able to drop down to just one pump of the BP instead of a full two pumps as I was getting quite irritated from it. I really like this system for its acne-clearing performance- it really works well if you stick to it. I do find that my skin is still very dry and can become irritated on and off, and I will just adjust the routine accordingly. I have never written a review but promised myself that I would if this actually worked- all these reviews helped me decide if I should use the acne.org products and I hope that my review can do the same for you!

"Perfect skin"
first let me tell you, that i am a highschool senior.. so i know all about the pressure of perfect skin!!! i never really had acne until my freshman year, even then it wasn't that bad.. only a frw breaks out.. but i had them 24/7 & they would not go away for anything. i tried many soups, masks, washes, even got facials, nothing worked! so i started researching & cake apon this site! & it was the best thing i ever did! i have been using this regimen for about 4 weeks know, along with the cleanser & moisturizer (bought in the kit) & my face cleared up within a week, i still have one breakout on my check, that does not seem to want to leave!! other then that, this has helped me so much! i no longer have to wear foundation, nor worry about make up clogging my pores even more then they were!!

Breaking out?
I've been using this for 3 1/2 weeks, when I first started I had acne on the sides of my cheeks and a little on my forehead and that's really it. Those places are totally cleared up now! But now I'm started to get small white heads or small pimples that turn into white heads within a couple hours of them showing up and they're gone within a day or two. It won't stop happening and it gets worse then gets better and is this annoying cycle. Idk why this is happening anyone have any advice?

Not a miracle, but definitely helps tremendously
I had tried this for about a six months before I ran out and tried to switch to some OTC product. Bad mistake! My skin freaked out and I couldn't wait for my new shipment of "the regimen." I have had acne since I was a teenager, now 32, and haven't really had the income to go to a dermatologist. Therefore, I've been trying OTC or drugstore products forever. I have kept my acne in check for the most part, but haven't really been able to take care of it fully. I would say that I have hormonal acne, that is compounded by extremely large pores and oily/combination skin. This treatment definitely kept my acne in check and has cleared up a lot. I still have the occasional zit, but it isn't a full-on breakout. I have had to change things up a bit from what the recommendations are because of my skin and how I think it is affected. Could be totally wrong, but it has been working for me. After about a week or two, I have been only using the lotion during the day. I also use a washcloth with the cleanser to use as an exfoliate, planning on getting a Clarisonic-type device, but this works for now. But with my large amount of acne scarring (not just hyper-pigmentation, but actual scarring) and large pores, I have to have found that I need some type of actual physical exfoliate, besides just chemical exfoliates to keep my pores clean. I have found that a physical exfoliate can help with dry skin that can result, and also clog my pores, from the benzoyle peroxide. The lotion in "the regimen" is very gentle and so is the cleanser. I had tried the regimen before, but ended up buying an exfoliate cleanser from the drugstore as well because I felt I needed one for my particular skin, I've found the washcloth works even better. May not be for everyone because everyone's skin is different, but I feel it definitely helps me. Planning on trying the AHA soon to see if that my help with some of the hyper-pigmentation and scarring I still have, so we'll see. I know that some of the scarring will always be, unless I get a laser or surgical procedure, but maybe it'll help a little. All in all I've found this treatment to be the most effective I've tried so far, especially since I haven't been to a dermatologist since I was a teenager.
