Acne.org : Treatment (Benzoyl Peroxide - 2.5%)

This is the best BP I've ever used and the price is great compared to how much I was spending on small tubes of BP. It goes on very smooth. It cleared my skin in about 2 weeks and I've been able to cut back to using half of what Dan recommends. It has kept me clear for 6 months except for the occasional pimple that usually is small and goes away quickly. I used to have moderate cystic hormonal acne. I use it with Dan's AHA which is a great product also. I use Cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer also. It did turn my skin red at first for maybe 30 min after application but this reaction completely subsided in a week or so once my skin got used to it.

I've been struggling for a few years and have tried so many different products for my acne, but NOTHING worked on me . . . until now. I'm so thankful for this product. I've been using it for almost 2 weeks already and my face has gotten so much better and looks a lot clearer in such short amount of time. Totally works -- THANKS DAN!

This is the stuff that is really going to get rid of your acne, it really works wonders.

This is hands down the best acne topical on the market. I've tried everything and this products is the most effective, especially compared to other benzol peroxide products with a higher percentage of bp. My acne is light to moderate, but stubborn. I'm not using the Acne.org Regimen as I really don't like to wear topicals during the day (I live in Southern California and really can't escape the sun). I use a generous amount every night, wait for it to dry, then moisturize and add a little more treatment to problem areas. When I wake everything has shrunk significantly. As much as the fabric bleaching drives me crazy, just use with caution. I love sleeping with my face to the pillow, but at the end of the day it is an awful habit and this product is helping me break it. Give it a try. It's a very fair price for the amount. Benzoyl Peroxide is very harsh on your skin and initially it causes your face to be very dry and red. Over time these side effects will decrease.

I have very sensitive skin and I believe I could be allergic to BP. I get redness, itchiness, swelling, dryness, and a little crusting. I used to use Clearasil Acne Treatment Cream 10% BP, but it didn't go too well. I tried Dan's 2.5% BP and received the same side effects. Even though BP gets rid of my pimples quickly, the side effects of BP are really bothersome for me. I still try to stick to the reigmen as close as possible, but I use a lot less BP instead of a lot of it. I've found out using less works well for me. If I apply any more than a little BP, the side effects gradually worsen, and I had to stop using it at one point because it got pretty severe. Sometimes, I'd wake up several times during the night with a really bad itch around my face. I had a family member ask me about my face at one point because my whole face looked red as a tomato for an entire week before I lowered the dosage.

I bought the 5% BP. The Benzagel brand. I was my face with Johnson's Natural Head-To-Toe baby wash. Then i let my face dry for 5 mins. When its completely dry, i evenly apply the Benzagel all over my face (excluding under and around the eyes, mouth, and nose). I let that dry. Then i apply spectro moisturizer. It works perfectly! I do the same in the morning except i subtitute the moisturizer with Vichy's Dermablend foundation (it has enough moisturizer in the formula). Ive think ive found my perfect routine :) I saw improvment after the first use. In a week my face was completely clear! I think it works differently for everyone, but it was amazing.

This is SO worth the money. I am 37 and for the first time since before puberty I am ACNE FREE!!!! I have tried EVERYTHING out there (antibiotics, murad, proactiv, mario badescu, antibiotics, antibiotic creams, benzoyl peroxide) and NONE of it worked until I started on the 3 step acne.org regimen. I could not be more thrilled with the results!
