This stuff is amazing. For the last ten years (since my early teens) I've tried tons of medications, from generic to prescription, and the only thing that beats the Acne.org treatment in my book is Accutane. And since the former is cheaper, easier to obtain, and doesn't cause joint pain / suicidal depression / incurable colon disorders, I know which one I'd recommend. Acnefree and Proactiv started out promising, but within a month the acne came back with a vengeance, and neither medication seemed to put a dent in it afterward. In contrast, the Acne.org treatment seemed ineffective at first, but as the months went by my pimples got smaller and less frequent, until they nearly disappeared. There are still a few stubborn holdouts, but their small size makes them easily manageable, and they too seem to be fading. Even though a decade of near continuous mild/moderate acne has left my face a little scarred, it hasn't looked this clear since elementary school. I use a little less than the dosage that Daniel Kern recommends in his videos, and it seems to work just as well as larger amounts do. Even so, it dries out my skin badly; at first I thought I could get away with skipping moisturizer, but it didn't take me long to reconsider. Four or five months in, I tried dropping the medication entirely, to see how long it'd take for the pimples to come back. As it turns out, two days. Well played, Dan. Here's a glowing review, on top of the wads of cash you're going to end up taking from me.

Pros:

Works.

Cons:

will badly dry your skin if you're not careful.

I'm 31. I've been prone to acne since i was 14. Its horrible being an adult and still having multiple pimples all the time. so when i was 30 i came across this site and decided to give it a try. couldn't hurt i figured. wow am i glad i did. skin wise this has been the best year of my life since i hit puberty. though i have modified how i use it over time. now i use it every other day. i put it on, and once it dries compleatly i use a dry bath tower and GENTLY rub my face clear of any grittiness. then i apply a fair amount of oil of olay regenerist (because i'm allergic to the moisterizer on this site as i am to many many things). on opposing days i apply the AHA+ followed by the regenerist again. every 6 or 7 days i give my skin a break and just moisterize. every morning i apply sunblock. never leave the house without it. the results- my skin is clear and soft and i'm happy each time i look in the mirror.

Pros:

- Clear solution
- Effective for spot treatments

Cons:

- Not effective for spreading around your face like a face mask
- Causes a great deal of skin peeling if not moisturized

Overall, this is a great product! I found after a but of modification (sorry Dan) to the The Regiment that it works much better for my condition when used directly onto individual pimples, spots and the like. It is not effective for me if I were to follow what Dan instructs us to do, and spread it around nice and evenly. I would still recommend it to others though. My results after consistent dabbing or touching pimples using a generous amount of BP include pimples harding from the inside out and dropping revealing smooth, new skin to preventing pimples from getting worst at first sight. Thanks a lot Dan!

Pros:

Reduces acne!

Cons:

Takes forever to rub and rub and rub and rub in.

Much better than any other BP on the market, and works more effectively than other types of spot treatments. Please, please, please don't change the formula! The regimen is time consuming (takes me 15-20 minutes just to rub in all the goop) but it does work if you're consistent and patient.

Pros:

Not as drying as higher % BP, no white streaks on my face, no strong smell, big bottle dont have to run and buy as often as little tubes

Cons:

can only get online so have to wait for it to ship

Other BP had my face SO DRY AND FLAKY and would leave me face white and tight and melt off my face (eww). This really leaves NO RESIDUE on my face I was so surprised! Also there is no strong smell and it really feels like a smooth gel on my face. I am very pleased, it just sucks to have to wait for it in the mail. but hey cant have it all

Pros:

Clears up acne almost overnight
Doesn't leave any streaks/marks
Cheap (compared to drugstore items/prescription)

Cons:

Dries out skin, making it flaky (as with all BP)
Not available in local stores
Takes some effort to wash face --> BP --> moisturize, with about 15-20 mins waiting in between each

The bottom line is this works, no questions about it. I've never used any other BP products other than acne.org's, so I can't really do any comparisons. I've read stories of people having adverse reactions, but luckily, I never experienced any of that other than the dryness. I heard about Dan's BP in 2007, and after reading all the reviews, I decided to give it a try. It worked like a charm, and gave me clear skin for a couple months. Then stupid me decided to go "all natural" and forgo chemical treatments. For the past several years, I've used BP on and off inconsistently, but have always looked for a more natural treatment to acne. I've tried everything from apple cider vinegar to emu oil to vitamin c...if you see it on the forums, I've probably tried it (including taking various supplements). After 2 years, I realized that natural doesn't always mean it's good (I put undilute straight ACV on my face and ended up with indented scars). Let me clarify that I'm 23, and mainly get acne flare-ups due to my menstrual cycle (figured this out not too long ago). So for about 2 weeks in a month or so, my skin is lovely. Then a week before, during, and after "that time", my skin is horrible. I thought that BP was mostly to treat teenage acne, but finally gave up on my natural treatments and reordered Dan's BP. Although it smells different and has a grittier texture than I remember it, it works amazingly well. I had about 3 active pimples, with about 2 more popping up on my cheeks when my BP arrived. LITERALLY, 2 days later, all was left are hyperpigmentations (I get PIH very easily, whether I touch the pimple or not). I've been using it for the last week and a half, and love it! I don't have to stare at my skin for an hour every night wondering what supplement to take to make it better. I just want to mention that Dan's BP is very cheap, even including shipping. BP is considered a "generally recognized as safe and effective" produ

Pros:

Goes on easy and clear
No white residue
Does not sting too much
Gentle
Big bottle for the price
It works!

Cons:

Takes a while to dry if used in recommended amounts

I have been using it for about a week now and it works well so far. It is definitely most gentle BP treatment I have ever used. I have been on Dan's regimen for 3 weeks and while first week was rough (I was about to quit), it looks like my skin has adjusted. I have not had any new acne in a week (knocking on wood.)
