I always go to this site before I use a product or just to read the forums for advice. Because of this I'm posting my review in the hopes of helping someone else out. This has worked wonders for me. I'm not stranger to BP, I've been using it since I was a teen. Recently I tried a new product and it broke me out REALLY bad. I never used this before even though it's always been something I wanted to order based on the good reviews, but it always seemed pricey and i just ended up using store BP brands. After trying to do damage control after a really bad breakout the store brands weren't working for me and I was desperate so i finally ordered it. Yes it's price but you get the bang for your buck. When I received it I was so surprised on how big the bottle was. It applies like a lotion, which doesn't dry me out as much as other brands. I've tried other lotion like acne products (Acnefree and proactiv repair lotion) and they always make my screen feel really tight. This doesn't at all. I recommend using a moisturizer with this ESPECIALLY if you're new to BP. BP is drying so you need to hydrate your skin to balance it out. I use Cerave, which works for me. I naturally have dry and sensitive skin so it gives me the moisture I need, not sure if it would be too much if you have oily skin. This hasn't completely cured my acne, I have yet to find something that does. But this is the best product I used thus far and for that I'm grateful I finally ordered it. My breakouts have subsided and my acne scars aren't that red anymore. I always wear foundation because of acne and this product has made me feel more comfortable to go without it some days, and that's saying a lot.

I've had acne in many forms all my life - comedones, whiteheads, etc. I grew out of it, mostly, but as soon as I hit my mid-20s - bam - horrible hormonal breakouts. I bought this maybe four years ago it when I had a huge flareup after going on a new birth control, and it kept most of the cysts at bay - most, because my hormones are prone to malfunctioning (dairy, soy, sugar, and of course PMS), I'm always going to get 2-3 cysts a month regardless what I use topically. Though BP is not an all-out miracle for hormonal acne, the bacteria-killing lessens the number and severity of cysts, for sure. It's really the best prevention acne-prone skin can have (along with BHA, AHA acids and a light moisturizer). I got a great look at what my skin would look like without it, when my bottle ran out... the WORST hormonal breakout I'd had in years. Needless to say, I purchased a new bottle STAT! The key really is to use it consistently, night and day, every day. My skin is sensitive to the point where it can't tolerate high concentrations of BP - 5%-10% spot treatments give me chemical burns - but 2.5% is perfect as an all-over preventative measure. I'd never be without it.

I love this! I wake up every morning to a smooth and soft face after applying this at night! It was drying at the beginning, like expected, but now I use this day and night! It doesn't dry out my skin anymore! I am on my third month of the regimen, and my skin keeps getting better!
