Pros:

Um, for starters, it cleared up my face as promised. I will cry if this ever stops working! I've tried everything and this is the one product that "came through"

Cons:

Mildly drying, but that's fine with me for the trade-off.

I love it. I finally like my skin! It looks great, clear, dewy (with a good moisturizer)- I practically don't even need foundation anymore, I'm just using to it even out blotchiness from old acne scars.

Pros:

great consistency, absorbs well, no pilling or weird white cast.

Cons:

can be drying, prefer tube to pump, takes a little time to rub into skin

this is the best bp i've used. i used proactiv's for a long time, but this is much better. i have found i can only use bp on a limited basis. right now, i use it about every other night.

Pros:

Almost eliminates my stubborn acne.. still hard for me to believe.

Cons:

Face is somewhat dry and red with 10x per week application.

I'm 35 with moderate but very stubborn acne ever since I was 16. I've used virtually every Rx product incl accutane. I was on topical antibiotics and differin for the last 6 years, and it worked well for most of that time but gradually my acne came back. So six weeks ago I had to switch to doxycycline and oral e-mycin, which used to work very well but this time stopped working. I suspect the bacteria became resistent. That's why I tried the Regimen. After just 2 weeks, my acne is 95% reduced. It's quite amazing, I wouldn't have believed a simple OTC product could work this well.

Pros:

This stuff keeps my face clear. I mean NICE! I haven't had nice skin since I was ten (I'm 23 now),and I've been using this four months now, and have been recommending it to all my friends with acne problems. Use it consistently and you will be happy!

Cons:

None that I can think of. Benzoyl peroxide stains, but that's the nature of the beast. That is nothing compared to finally getting nice skin.

Before I tried this stuff, I had been on a prescribed antibiotic (doxycycline) and antiobiotic acne cream (DuAc: clyndamycin and 10% benzoyl peroxide) for two years. I got decent results, but it never totally cleared me up and it never even touched the deeper red marks on the sides of my face. I tried this 2.5% benxoyd peroxide from this site because I got tired of putting antibiotics into my body for so long, and because a friend told me it worked for her "like magic." Well Im so glad I did. My face is clear now!! I didn't think that would ever happen. I went from purplish/red deep acne on the sides of my face, with topical zits here and there, and now if I get 1 zit it's only because I didn't use my 2.5% benz. peroxide last night. Be patient and use it consistently (use a lot like Dan suggests). I saw some results within a week, and it only keeps getting better for me. MY mom keeps saying "That stuff you're using is working GREAT on you!"

Pros:

Works amazingly well! So much better than the Neutrogena On the Spot (which can leave your face looking white). Dan's formula goes on clear -no one will ever know you loaded so much on !

Cons:

none

If you follow the directions, it's going to work, go ahead and buy the big bottle!

Pros:

Ummm, it worked really well for me, that's the Pro!

Cons:

Can't find it in (local) stores.

I had moderate acne starting in highschool and had tried and been prescribed tetracycline, doxcycline, differin, 10% BP, Proactiv, witch hazel, and about 7-8 others. None of those made a difference whatsoever except sometimes the Proactiv mask stuff for spots. So I tried to just wait it out and outgrow it, but it didn't seem that was going to happen as I still had it my sophomore year of College. I had checked this site before and read a lot of Dan's stuff and decided to just go ahead and do it. I am so glad I did! I did the complete routine from the very start and saw pretty good results after about 2 weeks. I kept going through gradually upping the bp dose and after about 4 months, my acne was 95% clear. Clear as in almost zero spots. At that point I couldn't keep up with the routine (laziness)and now I use the purpose soap, bp gel and moisturizer every other day. I still fluctuate between 90%-95% clear after cutting back, but that's 90-95% better than what I was.

Pros:

Can wear under makeup, clears skin fast, no strong scent, best price I've found for such quality, and super fast shipment.

Cons:

Not available in stores.

I absolutely love this! It keeps me clear (along with bha and jojoba oil), doesn't dry me out too much, can be worn under makeup, and arrives the day after it's sent (I'm in CA). I like that it's 2.5% to avoid excess dryness/flaking. The price is super affordable, considering the amount you get. Love!!

Pros:

good price (college student)
doesn't smell bad.

Cons:

none.
a little drying, but that's what BP is suppose to do!

i have mixed-dry-oily mild acne. This BP works better than the proactive repairing lotion (which i used for 6 years!). i decided to switch to this product because i felt that i deserved more consistent results than what proactiv was giving me. I recommend this to anyone who was once religous with proactiv, but is ready for a change. It's worth a shot, it seems to be working for me!

Pros:

Amazing! Works so well, seen a massive improvement after only a few days. Also leaves my skin nice and dry, my skin looks perfect when it is dry and not covered in oil all day :)

Cons:

Only con I can think of is that there isn't a U.K stockist, so it takes forever to arrive and also costs quite a lot, but it is so worth it!

Also seeing such a massive imporvement withing a week (Swithed from 5% to this)

Amazing, the best BP treatment I've ever used, I can't believe I didn't come across this sooner. Give it a try, chances are it will work, its like god in a bottle :)

Pros:

Works amazingly well. Goes on clear, which is a step up from the neutrogena 2.5 BP.

Cons:

Contrary to what is stated in the products description it does clump up under make-up, but in the scheme of things I dont care. My skin is fantastic thanks to this stuff and the neutrogena BP.

Use it! It is cost effective, goes on nicely and it has improved my skin 100%. I feel as though the neutrogena 2.5 BP might work a little better for my skin so I rotate which BP I use just because it has been working for me and using this BP keeps the cost down. However, I must prefer the consistancy and feel of this product. It soaks in better and it goes on clear so I don't have to wander around the house at night looking like a ghost.
