Pros:

-Cleared up my acne!!!
-Spreads easily around skin
-16 oz will last me a lifetime
-Skin quickly adapted to the BP to the point that it's not so drying anymore

Cons:

-Very drying once you start for the first couple weeks
-Scent burned my eyes at times even when keeping the cream far away from the eye-area
-Made skin feel very oily

I have tried many acne treatments including AcneFree, Clean & Clear, & Neutrogena but none worked & some made me breakout more. I got Retin-A from my doctor which improved my skin a bit & didn't feel dry but it took too long to have an effect & did not clear my bumps completely. After researching the regimen I have been using Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, Acne.org BP, & CeraVe Moisturizer every morning/evening now I have NO BUMPS WHATSOEVER! I still have red marks on my cheeks that the vanished acne has left but I think once I start using Acne.org's Cleanser for shaving cream & AHA+ every other night it will be the icing on the cake to having 100% clear skin. I also started take a pill of zinc & fish oil after every breakfast which has helped with my skin. The main downside is it's been 4 months & I still can't use the amount Dan recommends (3 pumps for big pump or 2 pumps for smaller pump). I have the bigger pump & I can't even get to 2 pumps it's just too much & usually burns my eyes because of the strong scent. In the morning I use half a pump for my face & another half for my shoulder/back. In the evening I use 1-1.5 pumps. Perhaps my skin doesn't absorb the gel as quickly but even so the BP does the job despite using a much lower amount than the regimen's requirement.

Pros:

It works for most people
Just not for me

Cons:

I am apparently sensitive to it...

I really really really wanted to love this. But as soon as I put it on, my skin started turning red and burning. I think I may be allergic? Now face is puffy. Oh joy, school tomorrow. But I don't blame the product, I blame myself. I should have known, I can't even use salicylic acid.

Pros:

Very effective
Fairly cheap for the benefits it brings.
Prevents new acne / spots forming.

Cons:

Flaky skin
Time-consuming
Bleaches clothes
Might be causing wrinkles. MIGHT.

Dan's BP is a great product. Despite having to pay a lot in shipping charges (due to living outside of US, no fault of acne.org), the value of the product is immense when considering the emotional benefits it brings. I've tried many products in the past that work for a few weeks, and then become ineffective, but this one just gets better over time. Needs patience, stick with it if you try it, you might need a few consistent months to really get the benefits like i did. I bought this BP so i could have the best skin i could have for my graduation day, for photos etc, and i'm so glad I started using it.

Pros:

-easy to apply
-great price for such a large tube
-helps clear acne

Cons:

-bleaches everything :(

This product really helps keep acne at bay. I've been using it for about 8 months but feel like I've reached a plateau in the last few months. It hasn't completely cleared my skin, just prevents me from getting really bad breakouts. Doesn't seem to help much with blackheads. I do like it, and would recommend it, if you would like to go from severe or moderate acne to only having mild acne. And if you can stand ruining a few shirts ad bedsheets, pillow cases, etc :(

Pros:

No doubt that it works, skin totally clear of blemishes within a few days

Cons:

Much too harsh for older skin (mid 30's), skin never got used the drying effect and made skin look old and dull

I order all 3 items from Dan's regimen and bottom line is, it works. However if you are suffering from mild to moderate adult acne like me and also want to avoid skin aging at the same time, this is not the solution. If I had discovered this in my teens, it would have bee a revolution and I'm sure my more resilient young skin would have coped better with the drying effects, However despite giving this a good go (4 weeks), my skin was unbearably sore and dry. Having done further research due to my skin just not acclimatising to the bp, there is also some risk of aging and being in my 30's it's a risk I didn't want to take! So overall, younger skin, give this a go, there is no doubt it is highly effective. Older skin, I would not recommend this at all, however do not despair, I also ordered the 10% aha and that has been fanastic!

Pros:

Works for me.
Has a pump.
White to clear color.
Smell isn't too bad.

Cons:

None that I've seen so far.

I tried using the recommended 3 pumps at first, but it was just too much product on my face. It didn't really irritate my skin either, which is good. To measure out the BP, I put it on the middle joint of my middle finger all the way to the tip. That's how much I use. This is probably why I never encountered any dryness, flaking, or irritation. But it's enough to work, because my skin is clearing up. And I have tried so many different products over the past 6 months.

Pros:

Bottle comes with a pump!
8 ounce bottle lasts a long time.
Blends easily into the skin.
Fast shipping, at least in CA.

Cons:

Slight "hospital" scent might bother some (but I like it!).
It can bleach certain fabrics.

I have had acne for years, and I'm glad to finally see a large-sized product with a pump. This is so much easier than using little tubes of acne medicine! I can just pump this out and rub it into large areas like my back. It spreads and blends easily into the skin without leaving a visible residue behind. The texture is great and I actually like the "hospital" scent. For some of you, this might seem more expensive than a drugstore acne cream, but you get so much more per bottle! It would take 9 Neutrogena On-the_Spot tubes to equal one of these, so it's worth it. It's not a miracle cream, but it will help keep skin bacteria under control. Before, I wasn't able to really use acne medication on my back bc the tubes are usually too small. This larger product makes it possible to treat body acne easily. I don't have any irritation, and it helps control the congested pores around my neck and chest area.

Pros:

Great spot treatment
Goes on clear
Clears acne
Reduces redness
Fragrance free

Cons:

Dry,flaky skin
Cracked skin
Burning during the first few days

This is an amazing benzoyl peroxide. I still use it as a spot treatment and it works brilliantly. However I do not recommend it as all over use for "the regimen". It completely destroyed my natural skin texture. I have been off of it for a month and my skin is still peeling and dry. I have to use a lot of moisturizer. I went into this having oily/ normal skin..I now have very dry skin. If you're going to use all over, proceed with caution!
