Pros:

Clears up active acne very fast

Cons:

The side effects. Very drying, redness, very flaky skin.

In a sentence, this product gets the job done with prominent side affects. It diminishes acne fast. However it also really dries the skin so you've gotta start slow. Even starting slow you can expect dryness, redness, sun-sensitivity, and crazy flakiness as it works. These side effects become less pronounced as your skin gets used to it over the course of several weeks to a few months; moisturizing helps combat the side effects as well.

Pros:

It cleared my acne at one time.

Cons:

My acne came back eventually.

Couldn't use before going out as it really really dried me out.

I wouldn't recommend it to others, but you could definitely do much worse with your acne product.

Pros:

nice bottle & smell.

Cons:

I find it doesn't absorb as well as Dan says it will. I follow his steps but it seems that my skin has gotten worse. I have mild acne also, and ive been on the regimen for a few months now. Slight improvement at beginning.

I'd give it a shot. its worth the money. But don't expect such wonderous improvements as Dan claims. Myself, I will keep trudging on, maybe until the bottle and cleanser runs out...

Not sure yet
My Dr actually prescribed bp at 5% I think it's only been a week I use it after I wash and then I moisturise but I don't see much of a difference although my face does feel super clean... she also said it will get worse before it gets better not looking forward to that and it will take 2 months to see results which most of you are saying the same so reading these reviews are giving me hope ! I'll post again next month with an update!

Commitment
So I tried the acne.org treatment for 10 weeks with my moderate acne. I'd only used over the counter products before this regiment so I was hoping for good result and a step up from my regular regiment. At first it went well, I spend time every evening and every morning applying the treatment and following the instructions precisely but I soon noticed the skin on my face turning a slightly different colour to the rest of my body and my skin became quite dry too. From around week 4 I noticed a significant improvement as I was getting much fewer breakouts than usual and some areas of my face even cleared up completely. Unfortunately, this is as good as it got and I never actually had completely clear skin. The largest downsides to me are that it takes at least 20 minutes every morning and evening to properly apply the treatment; my skin was showing signs of dryness and flakiness (even after 2 pumps of moisturiser!); and it also prohibited me from doing certain activities like swimming or working out. This is because after swimming the moisturiser gets washed off and your skin looks and becomes extremely dry so you would have to re-apply the moisturiser. And the problem with working out is that unless you don't shower after working out or only workout just before your morning or evening shower, then you would have to re-apply the regiment or moisturiser again. I would only recommend this if you're ready and prepared to make sacrifices for your acne and battle other challenges like dry skin as well as acne. You also need to be extremely committed as only 1 missed morning resulted in a breakout for me. I've been off the regiment for about 4 days now and I've had quite a few breakouts, but at least my skin feels normal again.

Not good as a long-term product

Pros:

Eliminated major zits
Controlled oil
prevents future breakouts

Cons:

Drying
Dulled skin

Acne type: Moderate to moderate sever The Benzoyl Peroxide Treatment was somewhat effective for the first several weeks that I used it. The Regimen required a smaller amount of BP to be used at first and then slowly amping up the dosage. My skin cooperated well with the small dosage of BP during the first three weeks. However, the BP started giving my skin problems the fourth week and all the time afterwards. First of all, the BP totally dulled my skin. The BP gave my skin kind of a gray cast on my face, rather than a natural healthier glow on my skin. I wish that the BP had some sort of extra ingredient where it would "renew" the skin where the acne was to reduce scarring. This probably was due to the fact that the BP was drying even with the moisturizer I applied afterwards. My skin was not necessarily flaky...my face just looked like dead skin was laying on top of it. BP may be effective for the actual acne, but it is indeed harsh for the skin around it unfortunately. So for me personally, BP is not worth the damage. In addition, all of my acne scars have not disappeared. I used this product for 4 months consistently. This product may prevent future breakout, but it does not clear up the skin completely.

Pros:

I would say the best 2.5% benzoyl peroxide ever! I love the texture because it is so easy to apply and it saves me a lot of time. I usually took about 10-15 mins applying other benzoyl peroxide cream. Now, 3 mins is enough. Secondly, even with first application, i can see the difference. Upon first day on this regimen, the frequency of acne appearing is reduced extensively. I cant wait to wake up every morning to see my face gets better. This is definitely THE ONE!

Cons:

I know it will bleach fabrics, so to counter that, whenever i go to work, i will use a white singlet or tshirt inside to avoid it from bleaching my outer shirt ( that is if you are using it on to your body for body and back acne )

This is definitely a keeper for any acne sufferer. I practically tried everything there is on the counter, but this proven to be the only treatment that keeps the acne away.

Pros:

Price and size

Cons:

Did not work

I truly wanted this to work for me. I've used Neutrogena BP and Proactive BP, both worked well for me. I tried this because of the price/size, but, it did not work. I really wish it would have. I used it for over a month, breakouts increased as I used it, breakouts went away when I switched back to Neutrogena. As a side note, I have extremely temperamental skin and have had acne for 18 years. It's never completely gone away, I can just manage it. I'm sure it may work for others whose skin is not as bad as mine.

Flakes so much...
Hi, I've using the regimen for a month now. My problem is I have a very dry and my skin is very tight after I wash my face with the cleanser. And I have a noticeable flakes. I am not comfortable wearing make up anymore. I am waiting my Aha package and hopefully it will help my flakes and get a Complexion better. Is this normal? Do I need to reduced the BP application? Any advice about dryness and flakiness pls.. Thanks

Guys,I had the same problem. My make up looked awful. Therefore try using as little as possible,it would perfect if you weren't using any for the first month, because while you are skin is getting used to the regimen(which is hard though),you should help it!
