Pros:

goes on nicely

Cons:

made face EXTREMELY red
drying

Didnt work for me. Actually made skin worse, and I stayed on the regimn for a month. Burnt my skin and made it more sensitive and really red. It felt like a layer of my skin had been pelled off after i used it and made me look older.

Pros:

None for ME

Cons:

That it didn't work for me.

After reading these awesome reviews on the product I was really excited. After trying Proactiv, Murad, Clindamycin (oral for 3 months Solution for 1 year) Oxy Daily wash Wash, Oxy Spot Treatment, Panoxyl 10 Bar, and every other thing you do at home such as Baking Soda with water and/or hydrogen peroxide. The only thing that worked was the Clindamycin Phosphate Solution and Oral Antibiotics. My face was REALLY REALLY BAD and it somehow managed to clear me completely. Later I stopped using Clindamycin as I thought my face was resistant to it after over a year of beautiful skin. I used THIS product after I stopped using Clindamycin Phosphate and it made me no better after the breakouts I get after stopping Clindamycin. I bought the regimen and followed it very very VERY carefully each and everyday for 5 weeks and saw no improvement I figured after 5 weeks with absolute ZERO improvement there will be nothing more than what I got except for more hyperpigmentation and acne as time goes by.

Pros:

none really

Cons:

pricing (including shipping), delivery, and crying

Okay so i have been using neutrogena's 2.5 BP CREAM every since i started the regimen and it has worked perfectly. However it is very VERY expensive so i was looking for another option. I have read many RAVES about Dan's BP GEL, i checked it out, the pricing was great compared to neutrogena's, so i ordered it. It came out to about $16(plus shipping) for a 2oz, i thought that was kind of expensive but if u calculate neutrogena's .75oz for like $7.00 you save your self a couple of cents. The delivery took FOREVER!!! to arrive, but when it came i was HYPE. I tried it for 1 whole week morning and night, and MY FACE HAS BEEN SO DRY AND RED ITS UNBELIEVEABLE!! OMG.. my eye lids, under my eyes, and my upper lip feels and looks sooo scaley its DISGUSTING.. Maybe it works for alot of ppl but NOT FOR ME AT ALL!! so i guess imma have to spend those extra bucks for neutrogena's BP Cream because its the only thing that keeps me clear and doesn't dry my face so bad..

DO NEVER USE THIS ON YOUR SKIN! YOU WILL REGRET IT
Do never order this thing! I thought I had acne before I started to use this (I did not have a lot of acne just some pimple here and there) But I wanted to get rid of them so I orded the whole acne.org treatment. Well after a month my skin was ruined because of this, but I said to myself that It would work so I continuied the treatment. After 4 month my skin was so bad and I had cystic acne. I started to stop using this sh*t and instead I put aloe vera on my skin to heal it. Now I have used aloe vera on my skin for 1 month and I don't get cystic acne or any acne at all anymore, my scars are still there and I have a lot of hyperpigmentation, but the aloe vera heals everything! So my tip is to NOT use benzoyl Peroxide, instead use natural ingredients for example aloe vera! THIS THING RUINED MY SKIN.....

Allergic or too strong for sensitive skin
My skin after once applied turned burned and red, and gives me a lot of itching, I don't know that I'm allergic of this product or my skin just doesn't "like" of it, because my skin stayed so much sensitive because of this product...That's normal?!

Pros:

- Easy to use

Cons:

- Dries out skin

I've been experimenting with various acne products for the past 6 years... and I can't say that this product has cleared my acne yet. I've been on it for 2months now. I am 27, Asian with sensitive skin and mild/moderate acne. I also scar easily and for a long period. I never broke outwhen I lived in Asia. Since I moved to New York in 2003, I have developed all sorts of allergies and acne. Here is how it's worked out for me: - I am getting a lot of smaller, clogged and bumpy zits on top of my nose, above my lips (where I've never broken out before), chin and forehead. Almost look like sweat beads. - While the zits are not red, they are raised. So under bright lights, my face looks scary. - I am still getting the occassional one or two larger pimples in/around my T-zone. The BP product does not seem to penetrate deep enough to kill the acne bacteria. Instead, the BP seems to harden the bumps so you can't pop them or make them go away. Then, they turn purplish/blackish and have not gone away. I just got an extraction facial from a spa because I was so frustrated. The aesthetician kept saying to me that I have to exfoliate - that's how bad it looked. Even with the professional steam machine and exfoliation, she could not extract all the raised zits because they were so hard and deep. This was my last hope and now I may consider trying the expensive laser treatments.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Caused severe irritation and an awful rash that looked like acne scars or the chicken pox.

The only thing I can thank the Acne.org Regiment for is showing my (awful) allergy to benzoyl peroxide. I have mildly oily skin which never really gets irritated or dry. I switched to the Acne.org method using Cetaphil cleaner and lotion (which I had used before) and Nutrogena On-The-Spot as the BP. Within the first few days my skin got irritated and I started getting more/larger acne, which from reading reviews seemed normal. Then by the end of the first week I started "scarring." Big red circles that looked like acne scars wherever a zit had been. It looked like I had a disease. I lived with this condition, hoping it would become better, for two awful weeks. I started wearing more makeup (all non comedogenic) to hide it, but it showed through. I was miserable. I finally decided enough was enough and switched to Mary Kay's system for oily skin: a mild cleanser, a Salicylic acid toner, and an oil control lotion. Within one use, not exaggerating, the scarring started to fade. it only took three days to go away completely. Its obvious that the Regiment has worked for a lot of people, but I didn't read a single review of someone with this reaction. I had no idea I was allergic until this so I just wanted there to be a review out there!

Was diligent about the regimen, but this actually GAVE me acne on my jawline b/c of drying. Never had jawline acne until using this product and now I can't get rid of it. Moisturized heavily using jojoba oil, which is great, but beware.

Horrible product
I ordered this product for the second time and the first time I had it I got a small tube of everything and I followed the regimen for washing and caring for your face and it did nothing but make my face worse... I highly do not recommend this product, also it took 4 weeks to finally get it, and I had paid for the extra fast shipping. DO NOT get this product, it is a waste of your money and time waiting for it to finally come, I wish I could get my money back for how horrible of a product it is. Folks please take my advice.. and don't get this.

Ouch :(
I am just finishing week one, so I will update this review in another week. I am using a tiny amount, less than a pea size, and it itches sooo bad! It makes my skin red and swollen, too. I started mixing it with the moisturizer when I apply, which helps, but I do not know how I will ever be able to apply more than a pea size amount. My skin is really, really sensitive (and possibly allergic to BP). I am slathering jojoba oil all over my face, which really helps my dry skin and decreases the irritation a little. I will increase the stars in a week if I start to get over this horrible reaction. I cannot ever give this five stars though, because this just does not seem right to me. BP does not cure the underlying causes of acne; it only treats the symptoms. This is an irritating chemical, and I cannot imagine using it indefinitely.
