Acne.org : Treatment (Benzoyl Peroxide - 2.5%)

Before I tried this stuff, I had been on a prescribed antibiotic (doxycycline) and antiobiotic acne cream (DuAc: clyndamycin and 10% benzoyl peroxide) for two years. I got decent results, but it never totally cleared me up and it never even touched the deeper red marks on the sides of my face. I tried this 2.5% benxoyd peroxide from this site because I got tired of putting antibiotics into my body for so long, and because a friend told me it worked for her "like magic." Well Im so glad I did. My face is clear now!! I didn't think that would ever happen. I went from purplish/red deep acne on the sides of my face, with topical zits here and there, and now if I get 1 zit it's only because I didn't use my 2.5% benz. peroxide last night. Be patient and use it consistently (use a lot like Dan suggests). I saw some results within a week, and it only keeps getting better for me. MY mom keeps saying "That stuff you're using is working GREAT on you!"

I suffered from some acne in my teen years and then a breakout every now and then in between, but when I turned 39, all of a sudden I started getting systemic acne mainly on my cheeks and chin. Several at a time and they would take forever to go away. I picked and then started scaring. It was unsightly and I couldn't believe I was dealing with this at my age, now 41. I was ready to go on acutane but my dermatoligist said he needed to try one more antibiotic. I started the Doxycyl twice a day about 4 months ago, the same time the regimin came in the mail. I thought to continue using both, and my skin has made a 95% improvement. I am now only taking 1 doxycyl a day and think that I can stop soon, but I really feel that it is the regimen, and not the doxycyl. I have been on other antibiotics and they have not worked. I think this is the best product and I am ordering more. It lasts a long time! I have my self confidence back and I know it is because of these products!!!!!

You must try this BP gel with the regimen. It absorbs well when you gently massage it into your skin. You need to stick to the regimen even if you suffer break outs.I have moderate acne and it has cleared me up very well. I dont know how well it would work for those who have severe acne. Stick to the regimen!

I've used this for the past year and a half. When I started, my acne was moderate-on a good day. I noticed results within weeks, and now my face is completely clear with the exception of the occasional breakout which happens every few months. I owe Dan so much - Thank You for providing this product and regimen to all of us.

I tried many otc products and visited a couple of derma already. This is by far the most effective and consistent treatment i had. I have been using this since 2014 together with the Regimen facial wash, moisturizer and AHA. My acne has been controlled since then. Unlike proactiv which was only effective for the first 2yrs. I have literally tried everything from store bought products,online products,natural treatments you name it I've probably tried it. I'm 31 now and about 6 years ago my face broke out with a million little white puss filled pimples all over my face and neck and it was super red and so embarrassing. I was so so depressed and giving up hope until I came across acne.org products and they literally saved my skin and it's totally clear now and I've been using this stuff and the cleanser for several years now. I stopped using it for a bit thinking well now my skins clear so I can stop using it now but then my periods would come around and BOOM break out again so I started ordering the cleanser and treatment again and now even on my period my face stays pretty darn clear I might get 1 or 2 pimples but that's it. So if you have tried everything like I had and nothing has worked then I say definitely try this and it will make you break out at first a bit more because it's bringing the ick to the surface but DONT STOP USING IT because it will start to clear up as long as you follow the directions exactly to the tee moisturizer too because it does dry out your skin at first the treatment does but just keep doing the regimen. I want to start out by saying I never write reviews. That's how amazing this product is. Anyway, Last summer my acne started getting quite bad (moderate-severe) to the point where I never left my house for months straight and started staying home from school. Then I started acne.org and although it took about 3 months (which is what it says in the guidelines that it will take) I have completely clear skin now! I NEVER get pimples anymore and have never been more happy! Please take my word and get this product it honestly saved my skin and my confidence. I go out makeup less ALL the time and feel confident doing so!
