Acne.org : Treatment (Benzoyl Peroxide - 2.5%)

I have had quite severe acne since I was 13 year old. Now, aged 25, I can finally close this chapter. I have tried countless other over the counter products, remedies, diets, light therapies and pills. None of them ever worked. I have had negative experiences with BP when i was 14 or 15 years old. Never dared to touch the stuff again until recently. This shows that the complete regimen should be followed to obtain the desired result: Clear skin! I never had a purge, my acne slowly faded away. This really helped cleared my breakouts. I don't feel right going a day without using this. I went from getting a new pimple/cyst everyday to maybe one every week. I'm still on my first 8 oz tube and it's almost been 2 months. Follow the Regime and it will really work!

Ive been having acne since I came here in England and I was from Philippines so probably the weather change made my skin become sensitive. At first they were not alot, but i started my puberty and tries to hide it with makeup but it made my acne worst. I tried so many stuff but it made my skin worst and sensitive so I was really desperate. This website isnt really known when I went. I was just on youtube and this girl was talking about this. Thank god I listened. I gambled because it costs quite alot for a student like me, and also it will take ages to come here, so I thought okay this is m last shot so I did. I ordered the pack (face wash, benzoyl peroxide and moisturiser)with my fingers crossed and hoping for the best. First week my skin is already dried like flaky, i look like a dead person because my skin are peeling of really bad and also if you put foundation or any makeup on top of it it just become worst so I stopped putting make up on my face, and also losing my fate on this product because it made my skin really dry. But patience is virtue. For the moisturiser to work, just add alttle bit of face oil like bio oil with it to make your skin less dry and apply it 3 times a day. Eventually my skin got better after 6 months my acne will just come in once a week with just one small spot and when I put the benzoyl peroxide it will be gone for a day. Acne has been my worst nightmare and because of it I woke up and feels better about myself :) thank you so much.

This is just amazing. I have no other words for this product. I have used PanOxyl benzoyl peroxide but the results weren't as good as this! I have been following the regimen for only 2 days and I see results already! I am so excited to see how my skin looks after a month. Thank you so much Dan for making such wonderful products.

Within a week acne that had burdened my life for 30 years (yes 30 years) had disappeared. I tried Dan's products about 7 years ago when they first came out and was NOT impressed. Very drying and the moisturizer didn't help much. Almost "aged" the skin noticeably. Primitive compared to the excellent products today. The range has improved vastly and glad I tried them this year. I've been battling acne for 10+ years, well since HS. You name it, I've used OTC ointments, prescription drugs, pills, (Tetratcycline) and even the powerful drug accutane. I was clear for like a year and half, but my acne just came back. But, since I find out about the 2.5% BP it actually does wonders. I know on Daniel Kern vids it mentions to use high amounts of BP in order to work. Well for me it just dried me up big time, I ended up just taking it easy like some of you mentioned and Daniel as well, and what do you know, it works like a wonder on my skin! If used minimal amount all over the face it does wonders, less is more. Since then I've been fairly clear, a little breakouts here and there, but nothing to panic about. Been using Daniel Kern's BP for about 2 1/2 years and kept my skin fairly clear consistently. Overall this is a must try, trust me, use this 2.5% BP, mild face wash and moisturizer and you're golden.

I loved this benzoyl peroxide treatment my face was horrible with so much redness until I started using this it cleared my face quickly in just a week as I continued to use this for a month my face got sooo much better , my siblings also used this and their face got clear as well I felt like there was no hope for clearing my face thanks to acne.org I feel so much confident about myself and my skin thank you

I am so unbelievably happy that I found this. I'm 23 with combination skin and I've had acne problems since high school to the point where I've had acne cover my entire face, especially on my cheeks. This is the first product that was able to clear my acne without having to get a prescription! I've used salicylic acid treatments before and they always seemed like they worked at first, but after 2 months would just stop. My face always responded better to Benzoyl Peroxide. I definitely prefer this over Neutrogena spot treatment because it's more of a gel consistency and actually feels like it's seeping into my pores and getting everything cleared, rather than just sitting on top of my skin. ALSO, know that from start to clear skin took me about 4 months, so remember to be patient! And, my acne got worse before it got better, but that's because the acne that's already started underneath your skin has to come out. But once the treatment finished pushing all the acne out, it's been so clear. I also got the dry skin that happens at the beginning, but for me it definitely subsided after a month. Now, I'll get 1-2 hormonal acne spots maybe 1 once a month, but they don't last nearly as long as they used to. Usually they're gone within 3 days. A BIG plus for me is that I only purchased the 8oz in November 2013, and it's lasted me this long! Definitely remember to follow the regimen as closely as possible! Best of luck!

Absolutely the best product I have tried for acne. It cleared completely my skin in less than a month! It burned a bit and dried my skin in the beginning, but I started using the jojoba oil after applying the product and no longer suffer any of these side effects. I just want to make certain that people understand that I did have severe acne and that not even prescription antibiotics helped as much as this product did. I am extremely pleased with the overall results and will recommend it to all those who suffer acne.

You need to use this product at least twice a day and carry on with it even when you are still scaley and spotty. My spots gradually got less but it took 6 months + to be totally clear. I now use it once a day and have pretty clear skin apart from maybe one or two around my jaw line during hormonal days
