Acne.org : Treatment (Benzoyl Peroxide - 2.5%)

This product is AMAZING and is the only things that helps my acne. I've tried EVERYTHING on the market and have suffered from acne almost my entire life. THIS IS THE ONLY STUFF THAT WORKS FOR ME! AND MY SKIN IS BEAUTIFUL! (something I never thought I would EVER say!) The company is also AMAZING. Not only are they cruelty free and animal product free, but the customer service is OUTSTANDING. I suffered from cystic acne since the age of 13, and finally discovered this product from doing some serious internet research at the age of 26 (January 2012). Before using the treatment, I was using Clearasil Ultra (10% BP), and suffered from painful and chronic acne that left me suffering from a serious lack of self esteem. I got engaged at 25 and wanted very badly to have clear skin for my wedding in September 2012, so after reading all of the reviews I decided to give this product a try. I only purchased the BP treatment, and used it with Oil of Olay foaming face wash, along with Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturizer (0.5% salicylic acid), and also began taking zinc every day, and my face immediately began to clear up within only a couple of weeks, if that. My face was completely clear and radiant for my wedding, with not a single pimple in sight in any of my wedding photos. I can't tell you how happy and confident this product has made me feel! My face has been the clearest that it has ever been since I was very young, and the cystic, painful acne has completely disappeared. I rarely get pimples now (April 2013), and my skin looks radiant and smooth. It's almost difficult to believe that this is even possible. I wish that I had discovered this product earlier, and avoided all of the pain that having horrible acne all those years caused me. If you are scouring the internet for a treatment for your acne, and are feeling like nothing will ever work, I am begging you to please try this product out. If you are using BP that is in high concentration, like I was, immediately stop because that is most likely the reason why you are breaking out so badly--it is very damaging and irritating to your skin, and in this case, less BP is definitely more!! Please take my word for it, and if you don't want to buy the entire regimen, at least try what I am using and see if it works for you! :) Good luck!!

I've tried tons of bp products, and this one is the best for me hands down! It cleared my skin, doesn't irritate and is quite affordable, relatively speaking....simultaneously mild and aggressive....more affordable than Proacitv...LOVE IT!

first i felt like it didn't work for me. i used it twice a day, in the morning and evening. it was combined with doxycycline in capsules. slowly, it reduced my acne although when some first days using it i felt so burning in my face, redness, itchy, and a little bit tender. just be patient :)

I never had a problem with acne during my teens and early twenties. In my late twenties I got "adult acne" and as a woman a common problem...rosacea in the balls of my cheeks, and little pimples under the skin that never formed a head, and were continually there!! I tried some products from the drug store...they were very harsh for my skin. I also tried proactiv and it bleached all my towels!! Anyway, the acne.org treatment is THE BEST..it goes on light and smooth, does not irritate, and is a reasonable part of a daily routine. I'm 31. I've been prone to acne since i was 14. Its horrible being an adult and still having multiple pimples all the time. so when i was 30 i came across this site and decided to give it a try. couldn't hurt i figured. wow am i glad i did. skin wise this has been the best year of my life since i hit puberty. though i have modified how i use it over time. now i use it every other day. i put it on, and once it dries compleatly i use a dry bath tower and GENTLY rub my face clear of any grittiness. then i apply a fair amount of oil of olay regenerist (because i'm allergic to the moisterizer on this site as i am to many many things). on opposing days i apply the AHA+ followed by the regenerist again. every 6 or 7 days i give my skin a break and just moisterize. every morning i apply sunblock. never leave the house without it. the results- my skin is clear and soft and i'm happy each time i look in the mirror.

I had horrible hormonal acne after going off the Pill that was made much worse by Carley's treatment. I bought this in desperation and without much hope but it worked beautifully. Within a week my skin calmed down and after about six or eight weeks, all the active acne was gone. Initially I used it every night after washing my face with a mild cleanser - now I use it about twice a week because I rarely have active pimples. If I feel a breakout coming on, I start using it nightly again. It works on everything, whiteheads, blackheads, red pimples and cysts. Really really amazing product! I'm thinking of giving the Acne.org Glycolic Acid a try to see if it can clear up the left-over red marks. My advice to ladies to who are planning to go off birth control is to start using this about a month or two BEFORE you quit the Pill. According to my dermatologist, BP works best as an acne prevention measure. Wish I'd known that before.

I also want to add that if you are a teenager dealing with acne like I was and just happened to stumble upon this website. I must clarify that this treatment does take time and must be done religiously day and night to work! It took about two weeks' for my acne to disappear.
