Pros:

No pain

Holy macaroni - Neutrogena's on the spot was burning the HECK outta my skin every night, then the moisturizing just made me want to DIE... So for some reason, this finally comes in the mail, and when I go to put it on last night (wincing) there was no stinging! I was shocked. There must be some ingredient in Neutrogena's bp that was burning my already inflamed skin. Looking forward to sticking to the regimen!

Pros:

Cleared my skin quickly
Prevents breakouts (no new zits)
Nice gel texture

Cons:

Can take a bit of time to rub then let dry (I use Dan's suggestion to wait 10-15 mins before putting on moisturizer)
Dryness

Dan's regimen is the only product to get my face infomercial clear. My skin cleared up faster than what it says on his "What to Expect" section and I never had purging. My skin became gradually clear each day, and I was using two pumps by the second week. The product takes a while to apply. I recommend putting on one pump first because it dries quickly. Then apply the second pump. If I glob it all on at one time it takes much longer to soak in. Then I wait 10-15 minutes. You'll feel the drying, but it helped expedite the process of clearing. Apparently the drying is helpful to the skin. Because the second step of applying BP took so long I tried Max Clarity which made some serious promises about not needing moisturizing and not purging but it was a fail for me. So I came back to what works. My skin is back to its radiate self in about a week. The product require a great moisturizing. Dan's moisturizing is the only one I find to not be a nuisance due to pilling. However, the moisturizing you need is so intense that it can cross the fine line between glowing and oily shine.

Pros:

This is fabulous! I was skeptical at first but I am so happy I bought this. I have only been using my cleanser and treatment for 3 days and my skin already looks better to me. I don't have bad acne but it was enough to be a bother to me and some of them were under the skin. So painful! I definitely recommend it. Thank you Dan!

Cons:

Not to many! The benzoyl can be a little bit drying at first, just don't use to much. I followed the instructions very specifically. I haven't noticed any bleaching on the towels either. I didn't purchase the moisturizer because many of its reviews said it made the skin oily, and mine already is. The moisturizer I do use is Aveenos Daily Moisturizing Lotion(in a green and beige bottle), and that works well for any dryness I do get.

If you are frustrated with your skin, give this a try. It won't clear everything up in a week, but it makes your skin look a lot better after just a few days. I am going to continue with this regimen for as long as it continues working for me. Once my skin is used to the treatment I am going to begin using the Neutrogena Rapid Clear 2-in-1 fight and fade gel again. This works very good for scars. Highly recommend it for those pesky little marks left behind! Don't give up on this if you don't see results right away, like anything you should stick with it for some weeks. I am very pleased with it.

Pros:

Extremely effective, gel form, inexpensive (per ounce)

Cons:

Redness, dryness.

Simply a phenomenal product. Obvious side effects are some redness and dryness, especially with folks that have dry skin (like me), but you stay clear. I know that when I use Dan's BP, my face will be clear in the morning. Supernatural stuff. Don't forget to moisturize!

Pros:

OUTSTANDING PRODUCT!

Cons:

none, switched to all white sheets... no biggie

I'm 34 and have tried every acne treatment- prescriptions (pills, 15+ topical products, 2 rounds accutane), OTC (everything the drug store has) infomercial products (proactiv, murad..), I started the regimen on 10/1 and my skin is almost perfect!! I'm hoping this isn't temporary (like proactiv), it even got me through my monthly breakout with minimal problems. I use the BP and moisturizer morning and night, some days more, some less depending on dryness. The 2.5% neutrogena gives me hyperpigmentation for a few days after use (as does any other BP product) but I get none of these side effects with DK's product. The AHA is a fantastic spot treatment and has cleared any breakout FAST!! THANK YOU THANK YOU and don't you dare sell to a lesser company that will change this product to the other JUNK on the market!!

Pros:

This is the most gentle on my skin of any BP treatment I've used, yet it has eliminated all but the worst (hormonally-driven, I think) pimples. Head and shoulders above any BP product I've tried, and I've tried so many!

Cons:

None--though the large and painful zits do still appear--however I like that this was not touted as a "miracle product" that would solve all of my problems overnight. And my acne is most definitely under control and much less noticeable.

I am very happy with this product as part of the acne.org regimen. I have had the best results of my life with these products. (Have had adult acne for 13 years approx.)

Pros:

Love this; goes on clear, no more white streaks or gross white flakes. Seemed to work as well at the Neutrogena stuff, and cleared up several chronic spots in about a day and a half.

Cons:

It will leave your skin a little dry if you don't use moisturizer, but so will all the other BP products.

I really like this. If you want to use a BP product, this is probably the best stuff around.

Life Changing
I had horrible acne issues about 2 years ago. I was a junior in high school and I was embarrassed to even talk to anyone at school because my acne was so bad. I had it along my jawline, my cheeks, and my chin. I had tried almost everything to get rid of it and NOTHING was working. I came across acne.org looking for treatments on youtube. I saw the success stories from the regimen and I thought I would give it a try. When it came in the mail and I used it for the first time, I followed the directions extremely carefully because I wanted the best results. Acne.org shows a chart of what to expect in weeks 1, 2, 3...etc. My face went through some drastic changes in the first month or so like the chart had predicted. My skin was so incredibly dry and flaky AND I still had my acne. But after about 2 months my skin had adjusted to the high BP % and my skin began to clear up. It is now 2 years later and I still order the treatment consistently. I am so strict about my skin routine and follow this regimen morning/night no matter what. I recommend this product 150% to anyone who is willing to put in the effort and follow a face routine very well. Acne.org changed my life. 2 years ago I never could have imagined I would be getting so many compliments on my clear skin.

Thank you!
I honestly was not sure if the regimen would work but I decided to buy the entire kit (that included benzoyl peroxide, cleanser, moisturizer, jojoba oil and glycolic acid). The benzoyl peroxide is my favorite product because it prevented my acne from getting worse. Slowly my skin was clearing up and eventually my skin was under control. It dried out my skin sometimes but that's what the moisturizer and oil are for. I wish that I would have tried this product before going to the dermatologist and taking medication for my acne and buying other expensive products that only irritated my skin more. The acne.org site is straight to the point, very simplistic and affordable. The kit lasted me two months and I saw result after 2 weeks. I'm just glad that I found not only this product but also the others and I will definitely continue to purchase in the future.

Use different moisturizer if you are purging!!!
So I have used this benzoyl peroxide for about 4+ years now.. I usually only use it at night and it keeps my acne at bay. However, it does not completely keep me acne free but very very mild! Mild for me was about 2-3 small new pimples every week or 1 cystic pimple every month. I was okay with that and continue to use it only at night. About 3 months ago I started breaking out a lot and I think it was due to either stress from dental school or hormones, whatever it was, using this product only at night did not keep my acne as mild as I liked...and i started getting 5+ pimples at once..I also had more than 1 cystic acne month to month. So i started following the regimen precisely, substituting the face wash with Cerave Hydrating Facewash (dry-noraml skin) and the moisturizer with Cerave Moisturizing Lotion. At first, I bought the Cerave fashwash for OILY skin since my skin was pretty oily and that was a huge mistake, as it extremely dried out my face when used in combination with the benzoyl peroxide. So after i switched to the face wash for DRY skin, my skin was not as dry...however I was still getting acne and my skin was still flaking..I thought this was "purging" or my skin was still getting used to it, but I knew my skin was just irritated. I decided to switch my moisturizer to PONDS, and let me tell you that this absolutely did the trick. After two days I was no longer getting new pimples...maybe only very very small ones that aren't noticeable or red, just bumpy if you run your fingers across it. So this is why I knew it was the moisturizer that caused my skin to so call "purge"...So my skin was continuously getting better and after a few weeks it was mainly acne scars..Once my skin hit this point, I went on vacation and could only pack Cerave moisturizer into my 3 oz container because those who have PONDS know that its almost impossible to take out moisturizer from that tub. Anyways, I still followed the regimen but the only difference was the moisturizer..and after 2 weeks, my skin was once again dry, irritated, and breaking out. When I went back home, I realized it could be the moisturizer and voilaaaaa...it was...my skin went back being pimple free!! Albeit, still very dry, but I was not as bad and no longer getting new pimples. Also, I started using AHA+ every night mixed in with my moisturizer and it absolutely took care of the dry skin...The first two times I used it, it made my face EXTREMELY red and irritated..but stick through it and use a little bit each day and I promise you, it will change your life. I know this is a long post but I wanted to be as clear as possible to help anyone else out there dealing with acne.
