Acne.org : Treatment (Benzoyl Peroxide - 2.5%)

So like many past reviewers, I've tried most everything in the store shelves from acne washes to other BP treatments to sulfur to salicylic acid. None of them truly worked, at most they suppressed the pimples for 1 or 2 days, at worst they made the condition worse and made my skin really dry. I came across Daniel's products before but hesitated to order it. Now I am glad I did. I followed the regimen pretty precisely (of course not all of us can wait around for 20 minutes every morning as the regimen suggests) and now I am almost free of pimples. It's been little more than a month since I started on the regimen and there is a major difference in the amount of pimples I'm getting. My only problem now is getting rid of the red post acne marks thats been haunting my face for many years now. I'm using jojoba oil everyday as a moisturizer and I hope that it will help alleviate the red marks. If jojoba oil doesn't work out then maybe I'll give the AHA+ a try. I totally recommend this product to everyone, the amount that you get for the money is great. If you do the calculations, $16.00 for 8 ounces of BP is a much better value than $7.00 for 1.5 ounces of BP in most drug stores. Dan's BP has a scent that really takes some getting used to and the shipping cost is a little on the expensive side. But this product is still totally worth buying. If any one out there is still hesitant to buy this product, I would like to tell you that if you buy this product and follow the regimen precisely, you will never look back. One day when you are cleared up, maybe it will be you who'll be writing reviews about this product and recommend it to others. Good Luck!

Well...I have been using this product for 4 months, and have been following the regimen to a T. Gentle, waiting between applications, etc.. The only positive I can come away with is the ease of applying a gel BP. Very smooth. I only really broke out in my chin area, so I started only applying there. It never made my acne better. Just consistently stayed the same, and there were new breakouts everyday. I have little flesh colored bumps on my forehead so about 4 weeks in I started applying the BP there as well hoping to get rid of them. Oh boy. I never break out on my forehead. Massive eruption. Everything from whiteheads, to red bumps, cysts, blackheads, you name it, my forehead's got it. And now both of my temples have these strange cysts, they are not painful, just about 5 huuuge bumps. I can deal with the flakiness, but the texture of my skin is horrendous. My pores look huge and I just kind of look aged. Ugh. I really wanted this regimen to work and I do believe Dan is a great guy for sharing his success with the world. I have no doubt that this works for alot of people, just look at the logs. I suppose this just wasn't meant for me. Le sigh. :/

Have you tried using Neutrogena On-The-Spot? Come on. This stuff is pretty much perfect. Use it twice a day as part of the regimen and you're good to go.

Try The Regimen (as this is the key ingredient to its effectiveness, certainly try it, but make sure to do the entire system and not just parts).

Please keep making this product, my face really likes it!

i honestly do not know WHY i never went on Dan's acne treatment before. i just purchased the travel size of BP in case it didn't work, but now im going to be sure to purchase the entire servicing kit! thank you dan, and good luck to everyone! be sure to moisturize after you've applied BP!

wanted so badly to work--not only did it do nothing for my face, it actually GAVE me cystic jawline acne. ugh.

This product really helps keep acne at bay. I've been using it for about 8 months but feel like I've reached a plateau in the last few months. It hasn't completely cleared my skin, just prevents me from getting really bad breakouts. Doesn't seem to help much with blackheads. I do like it, and would recommend it, if you would like to go from severe or moderate acne to only having mild acne. And if you can stand ruining a few shirts ad bedsheets, pillow cases, etc :(

After 15 years of struggling with blemishes, I stumbled upon the acne.org regimen and it has completely changed my skin. This BP is the one product on this website that I think is truly IRREPLACEABLE. I give it 5 stars for 3 reasons. 1) It works. You have to give it time. The first 2-3 months were terrible. My skin was extremely dry and flaky. New pimples were still surfacing. I started to notice a dramatic improvement on the 4th month. I'm now on month 8 and enjoying very clear skin. 2) The consistency is gel-like and smooth. This makes it very easy to spread all over the face and usable under makeup. 3) It's affordable. For the amount of product you get, this is a steal. I cannot recommend this enough. :)

My two first months with this treatment were really hard because of the dryness effect, my face was kind of peeling out and I had to moisturize it 3 or 4 times a day. Even harder, after 2 months I had only really small results, my face was still breaking out... but I was motivated and I stuck with it. This was probably the best decision I had because it finally worked after 3 months. It took a lot of time to work but now I'm totally clear. You should give it a try.
