Saved my skin
I was diagnosed with PCOS April 2016 and my skin was a disaster. I moved to Hawaii and was desperate to go makeup free so I tried the regiment because I'd tried everything else. This stuff is a lifesaver! I can not go with just using it every other day and very very very rarely have a breakout. I'll never be without this!

Best benzoyl peroxide treatment
I have literally tried everything from store bought products, online products, natural treatments you name it I've probably tried it. I'm 31 now and about 6 years ago my face broke out with a million little white puss filled pimples all over my face and neck and it was super red and so embarrassing. I was so so depressed and giving up hope until I came across acne.org products and they literally saved my skin and it's totally clear now and I've been using this stuff and the cleanser for several years now. I stopped using it for a bit thinking well now my skins clear so I can stop using it now but then my periods would come around and BOOM break out again so I started ordering the cleanser and treatment again and now even on my period my face stays pretty darn clear I might get 1 or 2 pimples but that's it. So if you have tried everything like I had and nothing has worked then I say definitely try this and it will make you break out at first a bit more because it's bringing the ick to the surface but DONT STOP USING IT because it will start to clear up as long as you follow the directions exactly to the tee moisturizer too because it does dry out your skin at first the treatment does but just keep doing the regimen. Thank you acne.org !!!!

Swelling?
I started using the treatment on my face on the first day at night and when I woke up my eyes were swollen and irritated and very dry. The rest of my face is fine it's just my eyes are very puffy and red all around the area. Should I stop using the product or keep doing it?

Happened to me but i stuck it out. I've been on the regimen for 3 years now and it was an uphill in the beginning. I can't remember exactly but it definitely took me some time to get use to it before my eyes finally normalized. Hope this helps.

Long hard journey but ended up working
My skin has been very bad for years now, I probably have been suffering for 4 years. I've tried mostly anything you can think of, Minocycline, Retin-A, birth control, doxycycline, pro-active and a lot of over the counter as well as organic remedies. Sadly nothing worked for me except for Aczone which my insurance discontinued and now The regimen. Thank god I used the regimen because there would be about 20 pimples on my face at once along with post acne marks. The thing with the regimen is it took a while to work, for me it took 7 months and before it worked it got reallllllly ugly and bad. I was losing so much hope and getting so upset but I'm so happy I never stopped. I knew a lot of people said it gets worse before it gets better but wow I didn't expect it to get this worse and for that long. It took a really long time for my skin to get better and it made my skin about 95% worse. Not only with the pimples but the dryness peeling and irritation. My skin is so sensitive but it was just terribleee. I almost stopped so many times but then after a while I stopped getting pimples finally !!! 7 months of irritation burning dryness peeling pimples that multiples and then I finally seen a difference no more pimples!! But moral of the story no matter how bad it is STICK IN THERE! I'm telling you you won't regret it. Now I finished the whole bottle and waiting for the new shipment to come in and I'm already getting pimples again which I haven't since the treatment started working besides around my period time which I've always gotten. But anyway this definitely works. By the way u only need the treatment the moisturizer is nasty and the cleaner is useless I use cetaphil instead. The regimen definitely changed my life now I just gotta focus on getting rid of the post acne marks.

Works but major dryness
I have been using the regimen exactly as they prescribe, but I use a little less benzoyl peroxide about 2 peas in size,I focus on my trouble areas chin, jaw line and underneath my cheek bones. It seems to have limit my amount of acne and get rid of cystic acne as well, although I am also on 100mg of spironolactone as well. I got a few little pimples around my time of the month but nothing compared to before. But it does really dry out your face and my face was peeling. My neck was the worst it is scaly and itchy. But I just over moisturize and on the weekends only use it in the evening. Seems to be working. Fingers crossed

I'm not sure..
When I first started using these products my face was itchy and irritated. So I stopped using it. I just started back using it for 2 weeks now and my face is flaky but not irritated. My eye lids are also flaky but I never use the product in that area. Any suggestions?

Continue using if you want to see results. My skin got disgusting flaky everyday but I continued and I eventually got rid of all my pimples. Also I wouldn't use the moisturizer they provide I use a heavy duty night one like philosophy which has really made a difference.

The acne.org regimen ruined my skin
I thought I was treating my acne, but my dehydrated, flaky skin (considered normal by The Regimen, especially in the early stages) couldn't heal or protect itself properly. I went through a cycle of inflamed, irritated pimples made worse by overdosing on benzoyl peroxide and skin that formed pitted scars more easily. I think it's really irresponsible of Dan and acne.org to support basically overdosing this medication and ignoring side effects like flaky, red, damaged skin that can quite frankly, end up making many people's acne worse and skin scarred. When I switched to a regimen of gently washing my skin, using a mild AHA exfoliant and moisturizing well so that my skin felt comfortable, rather than tight, dry or red, my acne healed. What dan proposes - the large amount of bp - is essentially an overdose of a substance that really should be used in a thin layer on top of skin and with copious amounts of moisturizer. I use it over vaseline sometimes. Do yourself a favor and use benzoyl peroxide as dermatologists direct it to be used - in small quantities, applied in a thin layer and be conscientious of your skin care by using a mild cleanser, exfoliating, and moisturizing as your base steps. Then add in bp on top of a moisturizer and decrease the amount you use once you stop breaking out.

You're very right. More is not always good. And Dan recommends that. Using a thick layer of benzoyl peroxide really made my face worse to the point where the right side of my face got swollen due to the amount of acne that formed. I'm off the regimen and decided to go herbal. Getting my complexion back, swelling has gone down and acne is minimal
