Pros:

Works well to minimize inflamed lesions

Cons:

Non drying
Not too great for blackheads

I used the BP about a year ago and I stopped for some odd reason. I am so confused why because it cleared me completely. I believe I was trying to get away from BP because of cancer reasons (which have been shown it does not promote it) so I am definitely going back.

Pros:

Dries clear
Pores Smaller Instantly
Sucks out the Oil
Smooth Skin

Cons:

NONE

I was skeptical at first because I have had acne for 15 years now moderatly severe. This has been a life saver. I can now go out with no makeup on and my skin looks great. Only time I break out a bit is that special time of the month because of hormones you know...Thank you Daniel for a great affordable product! I currently am using Purpose Cleanser and Acne.org BP but may add more to my regimine later. Works great!

Pros:

Cleared up ALL acne, and after a month I was able to reduce the dosage to a small amount once a day and maintain clear skin.

Affordable, even with shipping.

Cleared blackheads too, even though I had heard that it didn't work very well for those.

Cons:

I've heard that this can make your skin very dry and peely, but I have oily skin and didn't experience excessive dryness.

I had red, inflamed acne from the age of 10. (Luckily it was never cystic, though). It settled down a bit when I started trying various topical acne treatments as a teenager, and after puberty I mostly just got tiny little bumps with no head scattered across certain areas, plus the occasional big whitehead. Even though it was less noticeable, I was still very unhappy with the texture of my skin, and I had some small blackheads on my nose and cheeks that would never go away no matter what I tried. I'm 20 now, and I felt that I really needed to get rid of the acne in order to look more like an adult, especially since I'm petite and often get mistaken for being younger than I am. I bought the BP, AHA+, and jojoba oil. The BP completely cleared my skin within the first week, and it felt so amazing to run my fingers over my face and feel smooth skin for the first time in ten years. The AHA+ has also helped make it smoother, and the jojoba oil definitely provides long-lasting moisture. Overall I am very satisfied with the products I purchased.

Pros:

not smelly like other products, gel absorbs quickly, does not come off with sweat, does not dry skin, really works, reasonably priced

Cons:

takes color out of clothing, towels and sheets if not careful, just the nature of the product & cannot be avoided or improved upon

highly recommended, have tried many products & this one is by far the best

Pros:

some red marks start to fade on first week
less breakouts
removes blackheads
whiteheads are disappearing
pimples disappear faster

Cons:

Itchy skin for first 2 weeks
shipping is EXPENSIVE

it's not a bad product, it works better than the other products i've had. although after 2-3 weeks i started breaking out again, that could result from using too much bp or too little. BE VERY CAREFUL AROUND THE EYE AREA, woke up one day with red skin around the eyes. it's worth the risk to take, but be careful with the amount, to little and to much can hurt the skin. if you want your skin to clear up, you have to be gently with the the bp and not touch the face, trust me, it helps.

Pros:

Goes on smoothly. Didn't cause any cystic acne or pimples to appear. Doesn't ball up, doesn't show up white when you sweat

Cons:

I had noticeable redness and extreme peeling even after 1.5 months of using this, and I still had tons of raised bumps all over my cheeks and jaw. And it was quite inconvenient, the fact it dyes pillowcases and I couldn't wash my face during the day. Plus all of the time that that regimen took every day just wasn't worth it, with this item.

I initially started doing the regimen with Neutrogena On-the-Spot 2.5% BP, and had amazing results - I was clear (that means also no redness and no peeling) after a week and stayed that way for the entire duration. After a while, though, I switched to the acne.org BP because NOTS is so expensive (argh!) and balls up and shows up when I sweat. I had incredibly high hopes for the acne.org BP, but unfortunately, it disappointed me. My acne stayed pretty much the same the entire time I was on it, but I had horrible redness and peeling that no moisturizer could fix. It was so disappointing because with NOTS, I was clear within a week, and I expected acne.org to be at *least* as good as it, if not better. After about a month and a half I took a break of about a week or two and then tried the regimen again with acne.org BP, only this time I had a severe allergic reaction. Stupidly, I decided to give the regimen 2 more times within the next month or so (after I managed to get the rash to disappear with a special cream), and both yielded the same results. It is extremely unfortunate that I must leave my acne.org BP bottle more than half full to rot in my cabinet, but it just isn't working for me anymore. :( However, I think that maybe this is just some problem my skin has with the acne.org BP - I've seen many people use it successfully, and I truly believe that it can work really well, just... not on my skin. Since benzoyl peroxide *has* worked extremely well for me, I just think there's something else in the acne.org BP that isn't working well for my skin. In other words, definitely consider using this but do be aware that it may cause a reaction such as the one I described.

Pros:

-Smooth and easy to apply
-Clears up acne fast!

Cons:

-Drying
-Can cause serious flakes if you don't use a good moisturizer

This is the best Benzoyl Peroxide on the market, period. I started Dan's regimen a few months ago and my skin has never looked better. This BP is drying (they all are) but with a good moisturizer (I use Dan's) and a lot of jojoba oil the dryness is easy to control. I honestly think this is the best acne medication available. As long as you use this and moisturize religiously you will see an big improvement in your skin-- trust me, I've tried everything, and this has by far given me the best results.

Pros:

Cleared up my chin acne!

Cons:

mild drying at first.

I am in my early forties and have always broken out on my chin. I have tried many over the counter and prescription remedies and nothing seemed to work long term. I found this and immediately started with the over the counter items. I then ordered the travel size kit. I have been amazed at the results in just one-two weeks. I am now a believer. I will never go back to proactive or anything else. One tip I learned is that benzol peroxide bleaches towels. It took me a while to figure it out, but they are making bleach-friendly towels that work with benzol peroxide. Life is great. No acne and no bleach marks on my towels!

Go hard or go home

Pros:

Kills acne. Cysts, whiteheads, doesn't matter. Makes your skin nice and smooth.
Prevents new acne from forming after you've used it long enough.

Cons:

Uncomfortable side effects for the first couple weeks / months of usage.
Need fo be consistent.
Makes hyperpigmentation last longer.

I've been using Dan's BP on and off since 2010. All I can say is, it WORKS. If used consistently, it will MURDER your acne. The big stuff, the little stuff, doesn't matter. That's a no-brainer. However, be prepared to fight through the side effects: the redness, the irritation, the itching, the dryness, the flakiness. Don't content yourself with using the Acne.org Regimen products either: find products that work for you... listen to your skin. In the early stages of the Regimen your skin is going to look awful anyway, so use the opportunity to experiment. After a while your skin will get used to the BP. Once you are consistently clear, it is up to you what you do from there: many people have success scaling back on the BP, or switching to a night-only application. Some people don't even have to use moisturizer anymore. Whatever you do, just remember to maintain some degree of consistency: don't drop the BP entirely, and don't do something stupid like stopping cleanser / moisturizer entirely and just using the BP to "spot treat" once a week. Spot treatment isn't going to do you much good; the BP, once you've been on it long enough, acts as a preemptive strike against acne, killing it before it ever surfaces. Some people will complain about using such a harsh chemical on the fragile skin of the face. I agree, BP is a harsh chemical, even at only 2.5% concentration. But you really need to ask yourself: how much does clear skin mean to you? I've suffered from this disease for going on eight years now. I've lost the best years of my life and missed countless opportunities thanks to these hideous pimples that have decided to make themselves at home on my face. At some point you need to realize that enough is enough, you DON'T need to be a slave to acne, you CAN kick its ass and this product will help you do it. Grin and bear it, fight through the side effects knowing that once it's all over and done with, you will be acne-free... do you know how amazing it feels to walk around being complimented on your complexion? You will!

Pros:

First acne treatment that has actually worked for me.

Cons:

Dries a bit at first, takes a bit of time to soak into skin, but not too bad.

I adore this product as I have tried everything including what the dermatologist prescribed. This is the only thing that has improved my acne. I will be sticking with this product for quite some time.
