Acne.org : Treatment (Benzoyl Peroxide - 2.5%)

I have tried everything out there...and I mean, every regimen, new product, etc. I'm really impatient when it comes to products being effective and am usually terrible at using them regularly and for long periods of time, especially if they don't seem to be making any sort of a difference after a couple weeks. I bought the 3 product regimen package and was so miserable with my face at the time (and I had just gotten through LA Fashion Week as a model...having terrible acne in that setting is embarrassing to say the least) that I followed the directions exactly as instructed and kept doing so until it actually became routine. First I noticed that the moisturizer didn't do it for me, even with a couple drop of the Jojoba oil. It didn't feel right on my face and didn't moisturize enough and my skin is combo so it isn't extremely dry or anything, just a bit tight after I wash it. I use the face wash, rubbing it lightly on my face for about 10 sec. and then I actually leave it on for a minute and gently rinse it off. Let my skin dry completely and apply a light (you don't need much so the bottle lasts forever) layer of the treatment under my Clinique moisturizer and sunscreen. I can swear that I haven't had one of those terrible lumps for almost 2 months and I've been using it for 3. Blackheads have also cleared. I still get nervous, especially around 'that time of the month', that something will pop up but I think I can safely say my once pretty terrible acne is almost COMPLETELY GONE!!! It's worth a try. Also if you have acne scarring try Clinique's "Even Better Dark Spot Corrector"...it does wonders on those red spots that won't disappear. I have fair combo/sensitive skin (oily T but got big bumps all over), I now have no acne, less blackheads, less scarring and no flakiness, redness, irritation or dryness. Yay!

I've only been using this product for just over a week now... but I must say, I'm really quite impressed. I was skeptical to buy this at first as you never know how a new product will react on your skin. Also, I've used other BP products before and they were hardly effective so I was really wondering how this BP could be much different from all the other ones (e.g. PCA, panoxyl, benzac etc.). This BP is incredibly different and although it is only 2.5% it is certainly more effective than other 5% and 10% products I've used in the past. Before using Acne.org BP, I was on stievamycin for roughly 8 months while having also used such products as emu oil, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, hydroquinone, vitamin c, and aloe vera and for the most part my acne was kept under control, however, you could certainly tell I had an acne problem. By the time I started using Acne.org BP, my face was already used to harsh skin drying products, so I began with Dan's recommendation of using more BP instantly without using building up to it. Now, normally I'd hate to say something is an overnight miracle as I've tried dozens upon dozens of products... but this BP has really cleared up my skin, faded scars, and evened out skin tone (helped with redness). At this point, I've stopped using stievamycin and other prudcts and have only been using Acne.org BP, which is very surprising because stievamycin got my acne from severe to less than moderate. I still have some acne scars but they should fade quite well and soon :D I do, however, always use a gentle cleanser (my choice is cetaphil) and as much as I'm using 2-3 applications of the Acne.org BP as my regimen (once a day and once at night), my skin is hardly dry, unlike it was with most other products. In the end, definitely give this a shot!

This stuff works amazingly. I have used so many bp products throughout the 13 years I have had acne. None have worked as well as Acne.org's regimen. I have always had very tiny bumps all over my forehead and cheeks along with breakouts of actual pimples. This product got rid of both. It worked within weeks. I wash with just a regular soap (Dr.Bronner's liquid soap or Dove bar) and then apply this after my face is dry. Watch the videos of how to apply the stuff, and how much to use, they are helpful. After it dries you apply lotion over it. If you don't use the lotion your face will feel really dry and weird. At first I was kinda nervous about putting lotion on my face because it's kind of a taboo when you have acne because you feel like anything that touches your face will clog your pores and give you more zits. But that obviously didn't happen. I use the Acne.org lotion and it works fine, and it doesn't have an odor, which is great. This is the first time in 13 years that I have not had zits. I do occasionally get one on my chin or upper lip, but I have not had one anywhere else since I started this and all my little bumps are gone. It is still shocking to wash my face and feel that the skin is smooth under the soap. I find myself wanting to recommend this to strangers that I see with acne because everyone should know about this. I have gotten compliments on my skin and my sisters have asked me what I have been doing to my face to make it so clear. I feel kind of dumb for not trying this before; I just thought if you've tried one bp product you've tried them all, but this really is different. I don't know if it's the formulation or the amount used that works and I don't care. All I know is that I will be using this product for a long time. I use the Acne.org benzoyl peroxide treatment, moisturizer and cleanser with great results. I'm a 26 year old woman and still have not outgrown acne so I'm thrilled to find something that keeps my skin about 90% clear. I could probably get to about 99% if I were diligent about using all three products every day.

I was reluctant to use any sort of benzoyl peroxide product at first because I used it for years off and on, and it never really was effective. I am glad I gave this a shot now. Both the treatment and cleanser products have worked with persistent use. I stayed close to the recommendations Dan set forth. And I must say, after some purging and cycling, I am 90 percent clear as long as my stress levels stay down. I had suffered with nodular acne when I was young and it reoccurred 12 years after accutane was successful, followed by a topical antibiotic which failed after 12 yrs. I am now 48 yrs young-- ha ha, and have what my derm calls chronic, incalcitrant acne. So I definitely have come to realize that there is much hope for this kind of treatment product. The low concentration with heavy application reduces the adverse effects fairly well, but works to control the acne overgrowth. That seems to be the case. I wish I had tried this many years ago. I literally tried everything to treat my acne in the last 10 years, but only this product helped. I even tried benzoyl peroxide before prescribed by my dermatologist (it was combined with antibiotics), but my skin reacted terrible to it that time, no matter what I tried. I have really sensitive skin and not only acne but also eczema sometimes, so even my daily skincare is a bit complicated. I read that this treatment is not suitable for my extremely sensitive skin, and I asked my dermatologist and she literally forbid me to try it. But I tried anyway and it took a bit longer for my skin to adjust, but after more than 3 months of suffering from itching and terrible flaking suddenly all irritation disappeared and my skin started to look better than ever in my life!

I am so ooooooo in love with this product!!! I've struggled with acne and dark spots since I was 14, and I am now 28. My break outs have calmed down over the years to where only at that time of the month I would breakout. I stumbled upon the mentioned of Acne.org when watching an YouTube guru rave about this regimen. I was spectacle about trying this product at first because years of trying drugstore products, proactive, and Murad. My dark spots we're mainly from using Murad, that product made a little situation into to a nightmare. I broke out so bad that my skin was sensitive and cystic acne occurred for months. Once the cystic acne cleared up I was left with a face full of dark scars. For fourteen years these scars have not gone away until I came in contact with this miracle worker here. I purchased only the cleanser, the treatment, and AHA+, and used my own store bought oil free facial moisturizer that my face was use to and did not make me break out. Starting the regimen twice a day, I saw immediate results in 2 days. Pimples I had disappeared within a day or two and those big stubborn ones 3 or 4 max and stayed away. Then within the 5th and 6th day I noticed the dark spots vanishing. I've been using this regimen for 2 weeks tomorrow and already my skin is breakout free, the dark spots has vanished in areas and on my cheeks, jaw and chin where it was the most damage are fading away. I couldn't believe the results, but when others start to see the improvements in my skin and this new glow, I knew then that I found a holy grail to my new skin care regimen. I really think the treatment is the Golden child in this regimen, because I have not used the AHA+ yet cause of the recommended time to use in months time of start of regimen I only think things will continue to only get better. I am such a believer in this regimen that I went ahead and subscribed for the long term and recommended to everyone I know and even strangers whether they are suffering from acne or not. I have been suffering from cystic hormonal acne since I was 10. I have tried just about EVERYTHING you can imagine and nothing ever worked--my skin went through some extreme ups and downs with all the trial and error I put it through. Nothing would ever achieve perfect clearness. The best I could do was make my severe acne become more moderate/mild. This was VERY depressing!!!! Here I am, 15 years later, and I finally found Acne.org and The Regimen. All the sparkling reveiws the Regimen had made me believe I could have perfect skin so I odered everything and followed Dan's instructions as perfectly as I could! I'll be honest, in the first 2 months, my skin had become EXTREMELY dry, flaky and ITCHY--I started with a very small amount of Dan's BP (just as Dan recommended) even though I had been using Proactiv's BP for years. I almost gave up 😥 thinking my skin must be too sensitive for the Regimen, but because everyone else on this site said you have to push through it, I kept religiously using the regimen. I AM SO HAPPY I DID!!!!! I'm on month 4 now and my skin is COMPLETELY clear and the dry flakes are mild to GONE!!! I added Josie Maran's Argan oil (my skin breaks out with Jojoba oil, I must be a rare case) and that made all the difference. THE REGIMEN WORKS!!!!!!!
