Not sure.
At first it worked. I put a little and went to sleep, it was almost gone but there was a scar. I decided to try it again but the next morning I had a rash which was horrible my skin was peeling and the skin was so hard and it made my skin look oily. I didn't dare to try it again. The chemicals hurt my skin and burnt my eyes. It's not worth it.

Pros:

Works somewhat if you have no other options
Leaves your skin clean and smelling fresh

Cons:

Irritates sensitive skin more than it helps
Some brands/types will give you chemical burns
Hard to get off of your face, so after you scrub it off your pimples are flaming red and irritated

Toothpaste works occasionally, but only use it as a last option.

Pros:

- Drys out Acne
- You can feel it working

Cons:

- Can Burn Skin if Left on too long

I do this with white toothpaste every once and a while, and I've had okay results. However, the last time I tried it, I fell asleep with it on. The next morning when I went to wash it off my face, I was horrified to see that I had huge dark purple marks in some places, and my skin was burned pretty bad on my forehead. Thats never happened before, so I steamed my face and applied Melaleuca Oil on the spots so it would heal & not leave scars. It worked, && I'll never mess with toothpaste again.

h'm,, questionable...
First of all before you apply toothpaste please, please make sure your applying it to a pimple (acne) is actually a pimple. I thought a bump i had on my chin was a pimple but,, it wasn't and i broke out in a horrible rash (it was sore). so, it dries out skin, dry skin means even more pimples... i'm not quite sure whether it works or not though,, so i guess try it for yourself..

Pros:

If you put a little bit on at a time, like on eack individual pimple..
It works pretty good.

Cons:

I did the full mask yesterday night at around 6, i took it off 3 hours later only to find that it left a HUGE rash all over my face. It itches it burns its extremely noticable. Its also VERY hard to wash off.

DONT USE IT ON YOUR FULL FACE. No matter what anyone says, its hurts and its worse then a pimple.

Pros:

It's good for brushing your teeth ONLY!

Cons:

It gave me a VERY DARK Purple/ Brownish/ Red mark.

Do not use toothpaste on your pimples! Use Aloe Vera, or get rid of pimples other ways without so many harsh chemicals. I made such a mistake and left it on for 40 minutes, and now i am scarred. I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake i had made.

Pros:

It KINDA dries up zit over night.

Cons:

Its crusty and umcomftorbal. It made my skin red in the morning because of my super sensitive skin. And it barely did anything
