Pros:

1. Pleasant tingling in most places, no different than an acne wash would.
2. Some swelling seemed to go down, oily pimples dried somewhat.
3. It doesn't cost at all because you can just use whatever you normally brush your teeth with.

Cons:

It stings only on open or really bad (ready to burst) acne.

- I applied Crest Whitening Plus Scope toothpaste (you should be able to use whatever you have laying around as long as it isn't a gel, so there's no extra cost) as a spot treatment and left it on for about 20 minutes. - It doesn't sting on normal pimples and blackheads. - Avoid open wounds (pimples you've already popped). Those WILL sting, obviously. - Also avoid all extra-sensitive skin areas (around the eyes, etc) and avoid getting it in your hair. - Wash toothepaste off with soap and water, or a regular facial cleanser (I use Clean&Clear Oil-Free Daily Pore Cleanser). I reccommend testing it on a single spot first to see how your skin wil react. Use it over a few days and just apply face lotion (with an SPF - it's just good for your skin) to skin that dries out because of the toothpaste. Also, depending on your toothpaste, the time varies. Next time, I'm going to leave it on longer.

Pros:

Tightens pores, smooths skin

Cons:

Dries on your face if left too long, so left with very unnatractive toothpaste round the sides of your face

It tightens pores, so I guess that in the long run it would reduce spots. I applied it in the evening, all round my face, including n spots, and left until the morning.

Pros:

Makes the pimple less swollen

Cons:

Depending on the type of toothpaste it can burn. I have used aqua fresh (american) and PC Clinika (japanese)

Japanese brands are mild, but I'm sure you can get mild toothpaste where ever you live. For those of you who used toothpaste with bleach in it wtf... don't do that.

Pros:

in my oppinion if it burns it works

Cons:

its burning really bad, i hope i dont get one of those blister marks like everyone else has been talking about

it seems that every freakin saturday mornig i wake up with a huge red bump on my nose that just wont pop or anything, so saturday night i popped it with a sewing pin, which was cool it went down, then i woke up in the morning and it turned into a freakin baby midget twin, *angry face* so i told my younger sister and she was like just put some toothpaste on it and it will go away, i was like how long have u been doing this and she was like,"forever" and i was like stupid hoe, why didnt u tell me, so i put some toothpaste on and it has been like 45 minutes and it is still burning like hell, but that lets me knoe its working so hopefully it goes down becuase i cant go to school on moday with no big ass zits, im to fly for that, lol
