Toothpaste worked well on acne
It worked well. Put only on the acne, not on the face or other part of the skin before going to bed. It dried the acne in after 2 nights.

WORST THING EVER.

Pros:

cheap

Cons:

irriation
dryness
redder

One, it will leave your pimple more red than it was. Two, it irritates and burns like crazy. Three, it is hard to get off and when you take it off it irritates the pimple more

Pros:

-Cheap
-Always available
-Feels lovely on skin

Cons:

-Drying at first
-Hard to wash when dried
-A little unorthodox

Works really nicely, but it is better to use it as a quick wash, rather than a spot treatment. I mix a bit with water and create a lather, then put it on my face, leave for 30 seconds and then wash it off. It lowered the redness, and it felt refreshing. Since using it, i have noticed a decrease in the severity of my breakouts, and I find it's a great stopper when you feel the urge to pop.

Pros:

It worked, left my skin feeling nice. Sweeling and redness went away and it dried up my pimples

Cons:

It BURNS alot at first, but then it cools down. like an icy hot patch but real burn. It dries out your skin so use good moisturizer

Try if you think you should

Pros:

It's fast acting and really heals

Cons:

It burns like a B---H

It's really great. I wash my face at night, and tone it when I have time, and smear the classic white whitening overly minty colgate stuff on my face and the next morning, A. all of the toothpaste is still there, and B. when I wash it off, my acne has shrunk a phenominal amount. It does work. You just need the white classic thick chunky toothpaste. The only downside is the first 20 or so minutes it really does burn/sting/tingle, and if you plan to go to bed right away GOOD LUCK. Wait for your face to absorb the minty-ness and then pass out :)

Pros:

You people saying that it burns.. Are total wusses. It does not burn at all and it smells minty. THIS WORKS PEOPLE. If you say it doesnt work it does it cheaper and way BY FAR better then proactive that crap sucks.

Cons:

Its kinda hard to wash off but its not a big deal. TRY IT!

It works.

Pros:

Easy to use, affordable, leaves skin feeling clean and fresh.

Its a fast, simple way to make your skin look and feel alot better. I only use it as a mask once a day, and then leave it on for 15 minutes and wash off with warm water.

Can be effective but DO NOT use a whitening brand!
I have tried this technique on and off over the years. The cheaper the better I say- cheaper toothpastes don't have all the whitening ingredients and chemicals that some big brands contain. I do find the technique uncomfortable though. It dries awkwardly and makes me very aware of how many spots I have! I would recommend using tiny quantities, right before bed for results overnight. These results are temporary however and I would say there are better alternatives out there.
