Pros:

kills bacteria effectively, reduce some redness after just one application!

Cons:

the smell is just a bit offensive

got it from the Body Shop, 15% concentration, works awesome. I have dry/sensitive skin, but it's fine if moisturizer is applied around the problem area (not on top of TTO). I notice positive result (not very significant) after just one use. I'll keep posting...

Pros:

inexpensive, effective and natural.

Cons:

Spicey smell but you start to like it after a while.

I got it at the body shop (15%). I got stronger stuff at the drug store but it was more expensive and didn't work like the stuff I got at the bodyshop. Stuff from bodyshop was cheap. It worked. It was the onlything that has worked on the non-forehead parts of my face.(forhead needed ret-A but ret-A was too strong for the rest of the face that tea tree oil was perfect for)

Pros:

doesn't irritate my sensitive skin at all unlike BP, seems to be effectively killing the bacteria that my doctor thinks is causing my acne, doesn't cause comodones to scar like other topical treatments, and when i use it daily, prevents breakouts!

Cons:

results aren't always immediate. it usually takes longer than BP to see the effects.

TTO doesn't work for everyone. there hasn't been much research about it, but in the research that does exists, it shows that 5% TTO is just as effective as 5% BP in treating mild to mod. acne, but with less side-effects. all i know is that it works wonders for me. i use @mosphere's 5% TTO + gylcolic acid, and my skin is the best it's ever been. i like that it's a natural product and that it's alot less harsh than SA and BP. i'm a total advocate lol.

Pros:

clears up flaky skin

Cons:

strong smell

I've been using TTO in my hair moisturizing spray and notice that I don't have the flakiness around my hair line and the dandruff has disappeared. I've just begun adding it to my face cream and love the clean, tingly feel that it gives my skin. Already I notice that my skin is less oily and less shiny. I am so excited to finally have found something natural and effective that I'm going to add TTO to all of my hair and skin products.

Pros:

it does clear skin

Cons:

will dry it out if you have sensitive skin.

I had really bad acne and I was feeling hopeless. I went to the health food store and got some Tea tree facial cleanser with awapuhi and at first it did dry the skin out however,,after continual use,,my face did adjust.I have natually oily skin so I just used my own moisture and oil in my skin to moisturize. I was in the morning and at night. then I use a toner occasionally but the tea tree is a great product just have to learn how to use it

Pros:

makes your skin feel clean and refreshed, given a little time and patience this stuff reallys works and helps combat oil and grease that lies on the skin surface.Helps clear them annoying pesky blackheads and tough whiteheads.

Cons:

not a total miracle cure, however its natural, good on all skin types and really helps clean up your skin giving it a healthy glow and evens out the complexion.

I have used a few drops of tea tree oil in my facial sauna and after a day of wearing make up the grease & oil traces on my skin are yucky! My skin is full of oil & what a nice feeling it is putting my face in the sauna with the nice aroma and natural powers of TTO.After I have done my sauna I wash my face using a little of my facial wash and pat dry with a towel then I do apply some BP 5% to the nasty ones that linger for days... and viola my skin feels clean, fresh and clearer. I have nasty spots around my mouth and nose, cheek areas they spread and by the end of the day a nice whitehead appears! TTO just cleans them right up as well and the bp kills the bacteria and grease, I have been using TTO for over a week now and no longer do I have red angry spots the red has faded alot which is great and now i just have a few whiteheads that dont hurt anymore. Give this stuff a try, it cleans the pores out well leading to clearer skin!

Pros:

It makes skin less oily (and i definitely have the oiliest skin you've ever seen), clears blemishes very quickly, all natural, and not TOO expensive.

Cons:

NONE.

Tea tree oil is definitely my miracle in a bottle. I've tried everything: -salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, proactiv system, exposed acne system, differin, retin-A, expensive scrubs, face masks, vitamins, oral antibiotics, topical antibiotics, murad acne system, and accutane (which is one of the worst medications to be on) with no permanent, steadfast success. Until recently, i ordered tea tree oil from the body shop and purchased their tea tree oil system. I use the facial wash, toner, tea tree oil (15% diluted), and moisture gel and it is THE BEST product i've ever used. My face is not shiny anymore, the products are gentle, it only takes me twenty minutes or less to get ready in the mornings now, and most of all, IT WORKS. The thing about acne is that everyone has different skin, and some products don't work for other people. The thin is though, some do. I definitely recommend TTO.
