Tea tree oil is defined by international standard ISO 4730 (2004) (“Oil of Melaleuca, Terpinen-4-ol type”), which specifies levels of 15 components, which are needed to define the oil as “tea tree oil.”

Among over 98 compounds contained in the oil, terpinen-4-ol is responsible for most of the antimicrobial activity.

Cons:

Smells very strong

I decided to try this as a last effort as i dont have medical insurance now and cant afford the derm and the medicine prescribed that never works. I use neutrogena extra gentle cleanser followed by Braggs Apple cider vinegar 50/50 with water, and 100% TTO mixed 50/50 with pure Vit. E oil. every night. I almost died the first night because of the smell. I get migranes but thankfully this didnt and has yet to throw me into one. After the first night i woke up and it was bizzare to realize my face didnt hurt from the acne. Ive noticed that my acne has become more manageable but it hasnt completely gone away. I find that the TTO brings things to a head so dont freak if you see it in the morning. I found it at a local store for 8.99 (.5 oz) and at another store for 5.99 (1 oz) shop around! I only apply 1-2 times daily but i have seen other TTO products suggest 5-7 applications a day. Again it is a strong smell but after a few days it is bearable.

Pros:

I think it smells really good, feels incredibly clean, makes my skin the softest its ever been. Definitely improves skin quality and reduces acne

Cons:

None, really

I bought this from a store in Kohler, Wisconsin. It's organic tea tree soap made by Ord River, and I have only found it available on one website, and its really cheap. I paid 3.50 for my bar and its quite a big bar too. Makes my skin incredibly smooth and soft, I couldn't imagine being without it!

Pros:

Its affordable and I feel like it is working fast. I wanted to tell others that I have found something new for acne. It is called HIBICLENS; it contains Chlorhexidine used in surgical procedures and as a surgical wash, it kills microbials on the skin

Cons:

the same as tea tree oil does. You can buy HIBICLENS at CVS, Rite Aid or walgreens in the band aid aisle in a tourqouis bottle for like 10 bucks. I even was my chest and shoulders in it.

Try it, it is worth a try! Acne is caused by the bacteria on the skin so HIBICLENS should kill it.

Pros:

clears skin up, makes skin feel soft and smooth, relives redness, is a better antibacterial product than any other I have tried, dries up pimples fast, if you have a scab on your face from where you have picked at a pimple it help it heal faster.

Cons:

Smells really strong and foul, the smell will stay with you for maybe an hour after you use it. burns slightly.

This product is great. What I do is I take my face wash, which contains green tea and witch hazel, and put some on my hands, just enough that you need to wash your face, and then I add just one drop of TTO then I mix them together and apply to my face and wash, when I am done washing my face I tone it then moisturize it with an oil free moisturizer. it works so great just after the first time I used TTO I saw imedent results. my skin was so much smoother and softer and the acne quickly dried up. I use TTO twice a day one in the morning when i wash my face and at night when i wash my face. yeah the smell is strong but it is well worth it.
