Pros:

Super good. Compared to proactiv the cost is nothing. Doesn't smell as bad as you'd think.
Easy to get in some places. Less oil on your face.

Cons:

When I first started I was a little put off because it made little pustules start coming out but they eventually went away.
You'll want to use this product forever = ADDICTION.

Absolutely excellent, cleared my skin up really well. Now it's smooth and really nice. It does get rid of that extra oil. I also use Clean+Clear Morning Burst face wash and Garnier toner. I use to get little to no results with those two but by using them I did keep the zits at bay. Now that I use the tea tree oil mask the results are more amazing than I thought they would be. I used the proactiv mask before that but it dried out my skin and the smell in the morning and all day long was awful. When I first started using the tea tree oil mask I left it on all day and night between washings. Now I put it on during the night on bad spots and patches that I use to have and it's definitely working. A 10 minute use two or three times a week would not work for me. Touching your face/rubbing on a pillow or blanket WILL take it off. Touching your face WILL cause you to get pimples. Best of luck and an excellent choice to whoever wants to use it!

Pros:

Natural, calming smell, dries out pimples, reduces inflammation, and takes away the appearance of inflammation.

Cons:

Burns the eyes at first

this stuff has been working great for me. I started Proactive last year and that worked for about 9 months and recently started to stop working. So I tried out tea tree oil because I thought I might as well, since my acne can't get any worse. But it really surprised me! This stuff really works, my big pimples are shrinking and I haven't broken out! I just put it onto a cosmetic pad and then put it on my face, or i use my fingers. I don't dilute it though. Who knew something natural could work wonders? I definitely recommend this product for everyone.

Pros:

Somewhat reduces redness, leaves skin feeling extremely clean and soft.

Cons:

Smell is a little strong during first use.

My acne isn't that bad, but i hate having pimples and recently over the past year or year and a half, I have started to break out a lot. I've used so many different products before and wasted so much money on them, but i found that this product actually works! Right now I am taking antibiotics for my acne and use benzoyl peroxide (8%), but on addition to that i also use the tea tree oil from the Body Shop which not only keeps my skin soft, but it also reduces a lot of the redness caused by the antibiotics. I have found that the tea tree oil also helped reduce the size of my pimples a little, and also prevented or kept any new pimples from forming. This stuff is soooo cheap, and it is worth every penny!

It's worth a try. I've only used it for less than 24 hours, but my skin feels so much cleaner.

Pros:

Tingles skin and very affordable

Cons:

strong smell but it fades after a while

It took me years to find a system that worked for my weird skin. I've been getting breakouts since i was 14. Proactiv made my skin oily and irritated my skin. then about a month a ago i started using Tea Tree Oil. I use a regular face scrub in the shower. then i rub on the tea tree oil with a bit of water while my pores are still open. i haven't gotten any new pimples since i started doing this . oh yeah, i also take YAZ which is supposed to help with acne. so i'm not sure if it's the tea tree oil or the birth control or the combo of the two, but something it definitely working!

Pros:

A little goes a long way. "Kills" a pimple very quickly and painlessly. Doesn't dry out the skin or cause redness (in my case).

Cons:

Could be pricey depending on brand. Smell is a bit strong but goes away quickly. May feel a very slight stinging sensation.

I purchased Herbal Harvest's two ounce jar of tea tree oil. I was a bit scared as no one reviewed this brand, yet every other brand had several reviews. However, this was the cheapest by far (40-50% cheaper than the next brand). Jar is tinted glass which is always better than plastic and I've read that tea tree oil is light sensitive. The smell is zesty, somewhat like a lemon or a lime. The method I use is to quickly dab one side of a q-tip in and then apply to the problematic areas. A single dip covers all these areas and I apply it twice a day. By the rate I'm going, two ounces will last me a very long time. Now to inform about how the product actually works. Once I start to feel or see a pimple rising, I dab it with a tea tree oiled q-tip twice a day and even the most stubborn pimples (close to cyst size) go cleanly away in a couple of days. I find that it even works wonders on whiteheads, usually clearing them up within 24 hours. Had no problems using it with DKR's regime ei

Pros:

Works pretty well for an essential oil. Doesn't leave a greasy residue. Reduced the size of my acne. Tingles!

Cons:

The smell is a little strong but it will go away after a few minutes.

I've only been using this for about 4 days, but so far it's worked pretty well. I have acne as a result of going on birth control and it takes about a month to get rid of the acne that was caused by my BC, but now my face isn't so red and awful looking. I know once the BC is totally out of my system my skin will go back to normal, but I will still use this stuff for those occassional pesky zits.

Pros:

My boyfriend tried this on me a few months ago so I finally took the effort to buy my own bottle. Works like a charm, shortens the time the acne stays on my face. Tea Tree Cleansers reduces the occurrences of acne after 8 years of it on my face!

Cons:

The smell really depends on the user's preference, I personally do not mind it. Though, individuals with dry skin will find that it tends to dry out your skin, so moisturize with a fragrance-free moisturizer after!

If you haven't had much luck with a lot of solutions, this may be it. TTO is natural, and is not full of harmful chemicals like other treatments. Affordable and refreshing, I'd highly recommend this product to anyone sick of having stubborn acne!
