Pros:

It's not harsh, works quickly, doesn't dry out your skin or make it oily.

Cons:

None =)

I bought this product about 5 days ago & have been applying it 2-3 times a day everyday & oh my gosh... it works so well. I applied it the first night I got it & when I washed my face the next morning my face was far less bumpy & didn't look as oily throughout the day (my face can get really oily so that was awesome). The next day there was hardly any pimples at all & the ones that were there were smaller & less red. I got the tea tree oil gel because I heard that pure tea tree oil can be sort of harsh on your skin but I haven't tried it. When I get pimples they just won't fade but with tea tree oil even the pimples I had for at least a month are decreasing in size literally over night. Benzoyl peroxide felt really harsh on my face & made it red & kind of itchy but this is so mild & works so well. Sure the smell is strong but I don't mind it & I think it's worth it because the results are fantastic. Tea tree oil is awesome.

Pros:

works fast and great

Cons:

smell strong but you get used to it

I have always had a little acne but now after having my 2nd child I started breaking out ALL OVER my face. cheeks forehead exspecially jaw line.. All I do is rub it on straight out of the bottle all over my face and watch the magic run its coarse! I have had it in my cupboard for awhile and forgot about it. Last night I discovered it and tried the new approach of all over the face instead of just spot treatment like I normally did. This morning all my pimples are smaller and all of the redness is almost all gone!!! * bucks walmart get iT!

Pros:

Absolutely amazing..this stuff is light years ahead of BP, salicylic acid or any other treatment used to spot treat. Tea tree oil diminishes the size and redness of pimples, especially if you catch the pimple right as it is beginning to form. Love it

Cons:

I guess for some people, the smell might be a huge turn-off, but I really love the smell of it. Also, for it to be really effective, you need to apply it multiple times a day (for me, I'd apply it as much as 10 times a day to a pimple).

I have been surfing this site for over four years now, and this is the first review I have ever written. I don't trust other reviews because it seems that people are just praying for treatments to work, so they'll write anything on here (even if the product is really ineffective). However, I must say that I am so thrilled with tea tree oil that I felt compelled to write a review. I have a caramel complexion and I get nasty purple marks and bright red marks (it looks weird on someone with skin like mine) after every little pimple. However, with tea tree oil the marks after a pimple are GREATLY reduced if not there at all. This stuff is amazing. If I would've used this instead of BP/SA over the years then I would probably have very few purple/red marks. Anyway, I use this stuff against all the directions I've seen--that is, I apply it UNDILUTED directly from the bottle without mixing it with water. I can't say enough good things about tea tree oil. Seriously, it's amazing.

Pros:

It really works!

Cons:

It has a strong smell, but what's a little smell if it works, right?

Listen up people, it really works. I used to have terrible acne, even the beautician said it's hard to get rid of it. So, after trying so many different types of product that didn't work at all, I decided to try Tea Tree Oil. I mean, why not? I've been using it at night, before bed, and every morning, I wake up happy, cause my skin's slowly clearing up. Everyone at school agreed, it's the best thing that's happened to me.

Pros:

Tingly fresh clean feeling after applying, Makes your skin very clear and soft, evens skin tone, reduces redness

Cons:

none to me though others complain about the smell or dryness/burning I don't get these affects I have normal skin not too oily or dry.

I've been using Tea Tree oil for around 3 weeks. I love the fresh feeling after you apply it - very tingly / cool refreshing, the smell is strong but I like it. Clears your skin quite fast, prevents pimples and evens skin tone. I use just normal tea tree oil strait out of the bottle with cotton pads firstly dampen pad and then apply small amount of Tea tree oil wipe face morning and night So far my skin tone has improved 100% less pimples and redness, pimples don't seem to flare up anymore. My whole face looks brighter and feels so soft. I recommend anyone to use not only people with acne! Fantastic product :)

Pros:

Reduces redness, soothing, tingling sensation, is vert effective as a spot treatment

Cons:

Smells strong, will dry skin too mich if not diluted

This is the best thing I've ever used on my acne. I dilute a free drops in a tablespoon of 99% pure aloe vera gel, and use that as a spot treatment. It will last a very long time if used this way, which actually makes It less expensive than the drugstoe stuff by a long run. Worked much better than benzyol peroxide and salicylic acid. And it is less drying and much better for your skin. My skin is also very sensitive and dry to begin with.

Pros:

Makes pimples disappear faster when used as a spot treatment, not drying (but i have oily skin)

Cons:

smells strong, kinda expensive (but my parents are paying for it anyway, lol)

i'm 13 and have pretty bad acne. i've been using tea tree oil as a spot treatment for a couple of months and once you get used to the smell, it works pretty good. it's not a miracle, but it's the best spot treatment i've found. just dab it on your zits and/or scars before bed with a q-tip and try to ignore the stinging/cooling-ness. i found mine at walgreens in the supplements section next to all the fish oil and stuff. so yeah, you should definitely try this.

Pros:

Nice cooling sensation, gives that clean feeling after use, light tingle, doesn't irritate my skin, reduced redness and acne

Cons:

Smells very strong, but doesn't last. Smells stongest and lasts longest first use. Smell also lingers for a while, but less concentrated. Probably wouldn't want to use it before you go out. Has a sort of minty smell, if you like that kind of scent

I have pretty good skin, as far as acne goes, but it always bugs me how some sections of my face are smooth and clear, while others are red and bumpy. I wanted to have all of it smooth and clear, but all the kits and washes didn't seem to work right. So, I did some research and was immediately interested in tea tree oil when I read about it. So I went out and bought it. I really love it. I bought it just the other day at Target, it was the last bottle! I used it before I went to bed, and when I woke up, my skin had visibly gone down in redness. It sounds crazy, but my skin actually feels happy now that I'm using it. I just dab a bit on a cotton ball and wipe it all over my face, apply mosturizer if I feel that I need it, and I'm good! I'm not a fan of the smell, but I guess I don't mind it too much. I can't wait for it to clean up the rest of my acne and keep it that way :)!

Pros:

good for sensitive skin (just apply the correct diluted amount)

Cons:

-not so fast in clearing acne scars

I have tried body shop's tea tree oil and I broke out. But now I am using a tea tree oil from my derma and it worked amazingly. Maybe they differ in concentration?I don't know. So I advice those who have broke out with body shop's tea tree oil to try using other brands of tea tree oil. It might work out for you as well.

Pros:

Gets rid of AND prevents zits and acne every time!

Cons:

temporary smell that goes away in a short while

Tea tree oil has worked for me for years! If I don't use it I break out. If I eat chocolate I break out, but if I am using tea tree oil EVERY DAY I never ever break out. If I forget and start to have a zit I just use tea tree oil and it goes away. I have told my friends and strangers about this for several years now. FABULOUS PRODUCT! I get mine from Whole Foods. Just don't get it in your eyes!
