Among over 98 compounds contained in the oil, terpinen-4-ol is responsible for most of the antimicrobial activity.

Pros:

Eliminates acne/pimples better than benzoyl peroxide for me. Helped balance combination skin, reduced redness. Also eliminated a fungal skin infection better than medicine given by my doctor.

Cons:

Smells a little weird.

I used Benzoyl peroxide on a bad pimple for a few days, it actually got Worse! Tried Tea tree oil and it faded a lot by the next morning! AMAZING. Also somewhat helped to balance my combination skin. I have VERY oily areas with some very dry areas, it made it all really even, reduced redness. My skin hasn't ever looked this good before.

Pros:

i will keep this very simple. my acne used to be very bad when i was 13-16. ive used lots of OTC and prescription products, but it was still irritated and not helping.my routine really works because its simple. enough of this abrasive, hardcore

Cons:

chemical sh*t on your face. in the morning, use moderately hot water and a clean face cloth everyday (not one you throw by the sink basin, theres germs there) after a light scrub all over, hold your head under the sink for a few minutes, let the wate

jar or bottle. while your face is still wet or moist, shake the solution all over your face. dont worry about your clothes, it doesnt stain. the smell can be intense, but theres worse smells. also, watch out for your eyes. after that, head to be and get a good sleep. i cant exactly remember how long it took to really get my skin clear, but i went from grimy teenager, to polished. really, my skin is stunning now, and i feel it can be attributed to this minimalist approach. dont go crazy, your skin is alive. keep it simple and routine. also, something else. i wear mineral makeup now, and it gives me no problems what-so-ever. tea tree oil works wonders. the important thing is to not touch your face. facial pores are much more open and prone to letting bacteria enter. seriously, dont rest your head or chin on your hand, dont itch your face or nose (use a tissue or clean cloth) and most importantly, if food gets on your face, go rinse it off gently, dont rub it in with a napkin.

Pros:

i almost cleared up my skin in a month, it worked as a wonder to me, really soothes your skin and makes your acne disappear in less then two days.

Cons:

has a bit strong smell but its good

I bought whole line of tea tree oil products from The Body Shop which usually includes a scrub, foaming cleanser, toner, moisturizer, facial mask and pure tea tree and it is really effective.

Pros:

All natural (of course). This is the only product that I use when I have break-outs and it really does its job! I'm using the one from Body Shop.

Cons:

a little drying, but if you apply a really small amount only, it works fine. smells bad though but as time goes by, you'll get forget about it.

I apply it directly on the affected area before I sleep and when I wake up, acne's "almost" gone. Just be careful not to apply too much because it makes your skin dry and sometimes you'll even get a dark mark if your skin is prone to scarring. NEVER use an undiluted version of this!

Pros:

after a week you see a big difference.

Cons:

can dry out the skin but thats why they make moisturizer! =)

the past 2 weeks i have been getting compliments on how nice my skin looks. It feels great. i have always been very insecure about my skin so the fact that people are actually saying my skin looks better and really good tells me i am using the right product.

Pros:

It is so good, it helps with the severe of any acne, trust me this stuff is worth buying...

Cons:

it burns a little and the smell is very very strong.

I have been in the struggle with acne since i hit puberty at age around 13.. i then started growing acne on my back and thats when things got worse for me, i was embarresed to take of my shirt at amusement parks water rides, at a beach and anywhere the shirt had to be takened off. acne causes scars and thats what makes my back look nasty, but thanks too this that have been removing my blemishes, i should soon be able to show it all off.

Pros:

I LOVE it! It dries up pimples and is great as a spot treatment. I have light "acne" I get break-outs during PMS esp. whiteheads on my forhead and this WORKS GREAT!

Cons:

some people don't like the smell but I LOVE it, dries skin slightly.

I LOVE this product, i recently began using it after high end products such as Vichy and Clinique failed for me. I have light acne (i only break out on my forehead) and this works PERFECTLY for me. I just dilute it in a bit of water and put it all over my forehead, you can actually feel it working. Me and my brother swear by this product ( I use the Jamison one, since I trust it as a good vitamin supplement line). It's great and I highly recommend it especially for those stubborn whiteheads!!

Pros:

It tries up my zits completely

Cons:

It also tries out your skin with continuous use

It smells pretty strong, but put it on a night and you will wake up to way better skin!!! I even rub it all over my chest at night. This by far is the best acne treatment money can buy!
