Cons:

Doesn't exactly help pimples
Messy

Its a great product! Can't live without this stuff because I always have dry skin! Wouldn't rely on it for severe acne though.

Pros:

Smells nice
Can be applied to any scar
Moisturizes face
Effective

Cons:

Comes out pretty fast so watch out!

Great product. After three days of using it once as a moisturizer and twice just appying it to my face, my ugly acne scars are noticeably fading! I am also using it on my stretch marks as well. I look forward to seeing the results and comparison at the end of the week.

Pros:

does lighten acne scars by a bit.
help to reduce redness of acne

Cons:

too greasy

it works a little for me although the results are shown really slowly. i tried to apply it on my acne, and it does reduce the redness. i have got a lot of dark acne scars on my cheeks and forehead. bio-oil does help a little by making them less noticeable. i still have breakouts, but maybe it was because of puberty. i strongly recommend bio-oil. Pros:

fades your scars and generally makes your skin look nice - my skins not been this good in years.
cheap and a bottle lasts you for ages!

Cons:

it does take quite a while to absorb into your skin, i know a few people have said they could wear it into makeup, but for me, i think it would just make my skin look greasy.

I bought this just after christmas this year, the first time i tried it on my face it broke out in spots quite badly. When I started using it again a month ago I did get a few spots at first, but since they went away I havn't had any more - I think my skins just got used to the oil. After reading some reviews I expected to hardly notice any differences, but was really suprised at how fast this is working. I put it on every evening, and then at night again before I go to bed. Often I exfoliate first before putting it on, I think this makes a big difference.

Bio Oil Experience

Pros:

Moisturizing
Smells Good
Does not clog pores

Cons:

Expensive
Can get greasy if you use too much
Mineral Oil (If you're allergic)

Honestly, I was afraid this product would cause more acne for me but it hasn't. I see new scars healing really fast although I haven't noticed a huge improvement in old ones. It does sink into my skin relatively fast, and I use it as a moisturizer since it's so moisturizing I don't need my old one. Some people don't like the mineral oil, but I've done a lot of research on mineral oil and it's actually really good for scars and skin. Also, it has a comedogenic rating of like 0. If anything in Bio Oil is going to break you out, it's going to be Soybean Oil with a comedogenic rating of 3. Anyways, I haven't had any acne from the product and have noticed more even skin tone in general. Even if it doesn't work as a scar fading oil, it works great as a moisturizer.

Pros:

Helps scars fade faster

Cons:

Quite pricey, not dramatic

It does help, without it, my pigmented scars would take about 6 weeks to fade, with it, about 2 :) When I apply it, it looks oily on my skin for a while, but it is absored pretty quickly and well.

Pros:

Nice scent
Smoother skin
Works on scars (not acne scars though)

Cons:

Makes me break out

I have used this product for a scar on my knee and it worked wonderfully. Unfortunately, I have used it on my face for about a month and I did not see that much of an improvement. Furthermore, if you apply it to acne prone places and don't use BP beforehand, you are likely to break out.

Pros:

-Moisturizing
-Fades acne marks
-Evens out skin tone
-Gives you a bit of a glow

Cons:

-Expensive
-Slow working
-Clogs pores

I used this for around a year in order to fade my existing acne scars. It did fade the scars, but it took a long time. For me it was worth it. However, after the scars faded from the apples of my cheeks, I notices my pores were quite visible and clogged. I stopped putting on bio oil and continued with my regular face wash, my pores shrunk. Now I only put bio oil on my problem areas or when my skin is really dry. I also only use it at night because it doesn't absorb right away and is too oily when I have to go out during the day. WARNING: If you have recently popped a zit, do NOT put bio oil over top of the mark. The bottle warns you not to as well. If you do, there will be a whitehead there in the morning.

Pros:

Fantastic as a moisturizer, only very little needed, leaves skin smooth

Cons:

Doesn't necessarily help with acne or evening skin tone

I've always had extreme amounts of trouble finding a good facial moisturizer. Most moisturizers that I used in the past would feel like it just sat on the surface of my skin and sometimes even cause me to break out but Bio Oil has worked wonders for me. You only need to use VERY LITTLE OF IT. I really think that people are having problems with Bio Oil because they're using way too much. To cover your face, you only need maybe 3-4 drops, that's it! Any more and you'll definitely feel oily all over.

Pros:

Smells good, like lavender
Works on older hyperpigmentation
Actually smoothens scars

Cons:

Can make you break out in small bumps
Doesn't really work on newer hyperpigmentation

It works really well but it isn't recommended for people with oily and acne-prone skin. I have combination skin.
