Pros:

Not greasy or shiny.

Cons:

Couldn't tell if it was breaking me out and didn't see much improvement on my scars.

I have mixed reviews about Bio Oil. At times, I thought it improved my skin texture, other times, I thought it made me break out, especially on my chin! I have only used it for one month or so, I know you're supposed to use it a lot longer than that to see results but I wanted to leave my skin alone after getting more spots on my chin. The only thing I liked was how it didn't make my skin look greasy so I was able to put it on in the morning if I wanted to. It's all about trialling products to see what works for you, I don't think this one was for me.

Pros:

skin glow naturally
scars reduced
skin feel softer

Cons:

too oily if u r oily skin
need to massage long time in order to get all the bio oil into skin
scar reducing effects slow..

although it's very oily, but i recommend for those ppl who hv dry n acne skin... it's really works after a week.. skin will feel smoother than before... plus acne scars will reduced slowly after 1 month..

Pros:

It make my skin feel really soft and mosterised especsially after harsh cleansing products that dry me out.

Cons:

a bit too oily for very oily skin. takes ages to notice a difference

its a nic eproduct but it probebly doesn't work as well for scars as vitimin E. i only use this because the Vitimin E i have is very very thick. i mix this in with pure tea tree oil and it helps with acne. amazing for applying fondation over.

Pros:

used to be okay when i didnt have acne. good for dry skin

Cons:

spots everywhere after i used it at night a family of spots moved in on my cheeks, chin =(

I used to use bio oil when i did'nt have acne just for the sakes of for smoother and soft skin it was okay. i started to get break outs when i was 21 on my forehead only sometimes little sometimes alot. So with acne you will get some scaring. So I used bio oil at night before bed to try get rid of some scarring. Wow the next day I had spots everywhere on my face. I cried when i saw my face cause I could'nt believe how bad it went just by using it for one night. Since then I have been trying to control the acne and not having any luck. Now its not just the forehead its the cheeks and chin, it's so painful. Maybe it triggered something in my skin after using it to cause so much acne I'm not too sure but since that night I havent ever dared touch it again. I done this at 21, I'm almost 24 now and still trying to find the right thing to control the acne.

it’s okay

I bought this because people said it was their holy grail for acne scars. I have some active acne in between my eyebrows and on my nose but other than that I have acne scars all over my forehead. I usually run it al over my face at night and in the morning I put a thin layer just on my forehead. Ever since I started using it I’ve noticed a lot more tiny bumps on my fore head and my acne scars haven’t changed

Pros:

The product proves the claims. (to certain extend)

Cons:

no SPF protection.

I am here to update the progress. It seems like this product tend to be effective. I have been using it for almost a month and my red marks are gradually decresing. However, I don't see how this product works for those permanant scars. I will be keep on updating after three month of usage, as how it claims.

Pros:

Best subtitues for moisturizers!

not nice looking..(which may be a cons that brought down overall cost)

i originally brought it for clearing my acne scars. On the first tought, like all of you, this product may be too gleasy for oily skin. In fact, it's not. I've been using a lot of moisturizers claims that oil-free, suitable for all skin. However, whenever I step under the sun (my country is forever summer), my skin feels greasy. This oil really solves my problem! Anyway, the effectiveness of clearing the scars is still under debate cause i am only using it for one week. Will update after the one cycle of the skin renew.( 28 days)

Pros:

Moisturize
No breakouts

Cons:

uneven skin tone

I was using bio oil for the past 8 months. Although it kept my face moisturized and didnt cause any acne, my face got darker and had to use foundation all the time. I didnt see any noticeable differences and I stopped using this product a couple of weeks ago. Once I stopped using it, I started regaining my natural complexion.
