Clean & Clear : Persa-Gel 10, Maximum Strength

Okay, I've seen a few reviews saying that it dries your skin out and it's hard to spread an even layer around their face, well try just putting it on the affected areas, not on your whole face. That could be your problem. I only put it on my pimples, and I put a pretty good amount, and in all honesty, that's the whole point of the product "drying lotion" is the nickname, it dries your pimples out, so to say it's a horrible product because it dries your face out, well there's your answer, don't slap it all over your face and think it's a moisturizer, because then you thought wrong! GREAT PRODUCT!!!!

This stuff saved my (social) life. I had pretty bad acne when I started using it as well as some scarring. I started applying in directly to pimples and got great results. Its just like it kills the zits and if you keep applying it, it will completely get rid of any mark or scar from it. I rub in a small amount over my usual acne locations then let it dry then I glob a spot of it on the actual pimples and let that dry before I go to bed. I now rarely get zits and when I do they are short lived. It does leave white marks on your face, but they're easily washed off with water in the morning. It's worth it, trust me.

This stuff WORKS. That is the bottom line. I do not think I have very sensitive skin, so I use a lot at one time, but I know others who use only very little and get the job done. IT EVEN ERASED MY SCARS! seriously, I do not remember the last time my nose felt so smooth. What I do: Use product where I have zits before I go to bed, and in the morning, I use clinique moisturizer in the same spots. :D

I'm not one to go on websites and review products unless they are spectacular. This product did it for me! At first I started using this product and my acne went completely away in a couple weeks. After a few months of use I decided to stop using the regimen and see what happens. After a week my acne came back with a few zits here and there, but enough to make my self-esteem plummet. I rushed back to this product and like magic, my acne went away after a few days of use. I am nineteen now and I guess I was not blessed with perfect skin or the ability to grow out of acne, but this product will definitely be with me until they find the miracle cure for acne.

I am 26 and have been strugglling with acne since I was 15. I have seriously tried EVERYTHING and for a while had my acne under control, but made the mistake of using the Murad acne system towards the beginning of the year and it made my acne 100 times worse. (Do yourself a favor and avoid that stuff like the plague!!!) I was on antibiotics for a while after the Murad disaster and they helped but once I got off of them my acne started coming back. I purchased the Persa gel along with Clean and Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser and use them both like clockwork morning and night followed by CeraVe facial moisturizer. Bottom line is my skin looks good for the first time in a while. It was a little irritating at first, but well worth it. Just be sure to always use a moisturizer after applying the Persa-Gel. I have spent so much money on different products and was amazed that this inexpensive stuff from the drugstore worked so much better than anything else I have tried. I know everyone's skin is different and this may not work for you, but if it can help just one person this post is worth it :) Good luck!

Best benzoyl peroxide treatment on the market. When I get a big pimple, I use this product to zap it fast. Under sunscreen, it also works to prevent pimples from forming in the "danger zones." I've used this product loyally for 5+ years...will never switch to another brand.

I have a cystic acne located on my nose and I had two surgical removals done by plastic surgeon. The acne did not go away. Used all types of prescribed products by dermatologists(medications containing 4% salicylic acid and other chemicals) and it didn't work. After trying all these treatments, I was hopeless and purchased this product without any expectations. I used it 4 nights in a row and my acne went away. this is a great acne product to have! it works fast, nearly overnight, and is effective at reducing inflammation, redness, zits, etc.

I used this treatment gel (more like a cream) as part of my last resort before visiting the dermatologist. I didn't want to pay $$$ to only be pumped full of meds and slather on ointments that may or may not work. Firstly- I changed my diet to more lean meat, veggies and water ( i still consumed 1% milk and a few pcs of dove dark chocolate as a treat ;-)  bcuz my skin doesnt react to dairy), then i added a Fish oil vitamin ( Super omega 3 by wonder laboratories: molecularly distilled (free of toxins) and pharmaceutical grade - both characteristics extremely important when taking Fish oil supplement). I was already exercising 5 days a week so the last thing i needed to add to my regimen was something topical. In comes C&C persa 10 gel. @ Night: i gently washed my face for 15 seconds using Aveeno clear complexion FOAMING facial wash, let my face air-dry(never use a washcloth), then apply a heavy layer of Persa gel (my skin can take the amount) - let that dry for 20 min, and then apply Aveeno clear complexion moisturizer. In the morning: the same as the night time ritual (but i fully rub Persa gel in before applying moisturizer) and my makeup glides smoothly and lasts all day. After 5 days (no exxaggeration) my skin was clear. Previously i had about 4 medium sized pimples on EACH cheek and 3 small- medium sized pimples on my forehead. so to come that far in five days was RIDICULOUSLY amazing. I truly believe all my healthy changes - along with heavy,consistent use of the Persa gel 10 cleared my acne. Needless to say i dont need to go to the derma anymore. Of course all skin types are different and everything wont work for everyone- but try my whole 180 degree regimen to see a difference in your skin and overall bodily health. I cant believe how smooth and acne free my skin is. And i thought i couldnt stay out of the mirror before Lol.
