Pros:

-Lots of different uses
-Cheap
-Lasts for a long time
-Moisturizing
-I think it helps fade red marks
-Most importantly: does not clog pores

Cons:

-The bottle is always covered in oil
-Shipping cost is a bit on the expensive side, but it's worth it

The best thing about jojoba oil is that it won't clog pores, so you can just rub it everywhere and see what works. Some of the things I use it for: -Hair conditioner -After shave -Moisturizer You don't have to use a lot of it, 6 drops should be enough for your entire face. It should last you over 5 months. The only beef I have with this is the cap. The cap allows you to dispense small drops, which is great. BUT after I used it for a few days, the whole bottle became covered in a thin layer of oil. It got to the point where I have to use the oil that leaked out of the bottle more than the oil inside the bottle. Hopefully they can fix the packaging because it's super irritating (at least to me) right now.

Pros:

GREAT pre-shaving lotion. Have used it for about 8 months prior to every shave and have not cut myself once or experienced any problems with ingrown hairs. Also works well when combined with moisturizer at nighttime.

Cons:

Makes face shiny, so I would not recommend using it during the day. Also did not help with decreasing my oil production as I had hoped.

I would recommend it for men for a preshave lotion. The bottle will last you for months and if you are having issues with flaking it may help when used with your moisturizer.

Pros:

Does help out with flakiness of skin.
Makes a good lip balm.
Seems to have helped a lot with a lot of drier areas I had on my face that looked a bit wrinkly... or something.
The dropper lid is nice... but also see cons.

Cons:

Makes my face oily/shiny, but I use it with Cetaphil and that makes my face oily/shiny alone.
It seems to leak out around the dropper some when you use it. Not much, but still, it can get a bit messy.

I haven't used this for quite a week yet, but I really like it so far. I've been having problems with my skin being really dry (for no reason at all, I never used to have dry skin) and none of the moisturizers I used helped. Cetaphil had the best results, which made my face very oily/shiny, but lasted longer than the others despite still having flakiness by the end of the day. So I bought the jojoba oil to give it a shot. It helped out a lot with the flakiness. Rarely does my skin have flaky spots at the end of the day. I've also been using it on my lips and I really like it. I've never used chapstick before because it always felt weird and never actually helped (but we always got the cheap brands). But this really does feel nice on my lips and seems to be helping with the dryness of them. I have gotten a few pimples lately since using the jojoba oil. I still broke out some times before I started using this, so this may just be my time to have a break out. I'll try using Dan's moisturizer again, with this added and see if it still helps out with flakiness and oiliness/shininess. If I continue breaking out, I'll likely stop using it and just have to deal with flaky skin.

Pros:

Many uses
A few drops is plenty of moisturizer

Cons:

Bottle top doesn't seal
Can leave you shiny if you use too much

I use jojoba for all kinds of things. I add some to Dan's moisturizer (or even put it on straight) when my face is particularly dry. You just have to be careful not to use to much, or you will be shiny. I use it as a makeup remover. I use it to moisturize my lips and hands. I use it as a massage oil. I add it to warm water and lemon juice and soak my hands in it as part of a manicure. My by gripe: The top leaks. The bottle is always covered in oil. (I hate to think what would happen if I packed this in a suitcase.) There is something gross (probably bacteria) growing in the hinge part of the cap where I can't get it clean. There is also stuff floating in the oil, which I'm guessing is also bacteria. Gross! The next bottle I buy will be decanted into a bottle that seals properly.

Pros:

Moisturizes very well when adding a few drops to the Acne.org Moisturizer!

Cons:

None really...

My skin was feeling tight an hour after moisturizing alone with the regimen. This stuff seems to keep my skin from feeling tight and reduces the flaking when applied.

Pros:

Really helps with flaky areas, my skin is looking better and better with each use, this bottle holds a lot of oil and will last me a good long while

Cons:

Can make your skin look very oily/greasy - need to use sparingly. Bottle is TERRIBLE - it had leaked all over the shipping box, and continues to leave oil rings everywhere on my counter. You can't take this on a trip unless you want oil everywhere. Packaging seriously needs to be changed.

Great product, really bad packaging. Start slow, with a drop or two and then move up if you need to. Daniel uses 6 drops, but that makes me look like an oil slick. I use more at night and less in the morning to make sure that I don't look oily during the day.

Pros:

Excellent moisturizer for skin & hair; only need to use a few drops. Natural (better than using chemical moisturizers); Can be really good for sensitive/over-dried skin

Cons:

Can cause break outs if not used correctly or smartly. Different results for different people.

I'm still not completely sold on the idea of using jojoba oil as my only cleanser or moisturizer. I do want to use more natural products-- I've had acne for 12 yrs now & my skin shows it. I think my skin wants a break from all the chemical/processed products I've put in/on my body/face. So I guess I really want this product to work, in whatever way is best. This is my 2nd attempt at using jojoba as a cleanser & moisturizer, and I've gotten about 4 cysts on my cheek in the last few days, which is rare for me. I'm not going to give up yet, though. The best advice I can offer is from something I read: jojoba is similar to sebum, so it can deep clean your pores; BUT this is a 2-way street: it can bring things IN your pores just as effectively. This is why I've chosen not to use it as a make-up remover, and to be very careful about using it when my face is at all dirty or or oozing. (Sorry to be graphic, but I think it is an important point many ppl are overlooking). Bottom line: only use when your face and hands are completely clean; don't use in excess-- be smart about it! It works wonders for flakey patches of dry skin on the face, elbows, feet, Also is an amazing hair conditioner. Sometimes I leave it in overnight and wash/condition as usual in the AM.

Pros:

-soothes my dry patches
-very cool bottle with the drop dispenser, a couple of drops goes a long way mixed with moisturizer
-skin is supple and soft after using it

Cons:

-did not notice it controlling my oil
-looks greasy
-broke me out
-clogged my pores

I have mixed feelings about this product. I really wanted to love this product, but it sadly broke me out with really inflamed spots. I also noticed clogged whiteheads. Some might say it's because of purging, but once I stopped using it my skin got better. Although it's not suppose to be comedogenic, I would be cautious with using this if you have sensitive skin. It did however, make my dry patches of skin smoother when mixed in with my moisturizer, but made me look greasy so I only used it at night. The bottle is really big so it'll probably last forever. Instead of using it on my face now, I use it to remove eye makeup, clean and recondition my makeup brushes since jojoba has antibacterial properties. Overall, not recommended for sensitive skin, but it's multifunctional, so I guess if you try it on your skin and it doesn't work out, you can find another reason to use it so it's not wasted.

Pros:

Really really gets rid of those pesky flakes and dryness caused by BP.

Cons:

Can make face a little shiny if too much used. The verdict is still out on this for me as far as causing breakouts- I don't think so though.

Great stuff if you are on the BP regime. A little goes A LONG WAY for sure. You only need a drop or two mixed in with your moisturizer for your whole face! I think this bottle will last me 10 yrs, :) I dont notice a bad smell to it at all and I think they must have improved the bottle as mine does not leak at all.
