Hydrating but not an acne cure
Great as a moisturiser at night but don't think it had helped my acne... wash my face at night using African black soap then I use a sea salt&a tea tree toner then I moisturise with jojoba oil and apply tea tree oil to problem areas,,, besides the spots,, my skin looks and feels really healthy and nourished but I don't think it's done much to reduce my acne, though I had moderate acne that flares up mostly around my period

seeing how this works...
I've been using jojoba oil for one week. I am using a different brand-"now" organic jojoba, so I don't have any issues with a leaky cap! Haha. I just switched up my face wash routine to try to use natural remedies for my persistent acne instead of other medicines. I still have a benzoyl wash that I'm using occasionally since I didn't want to throw it away. I've just been rinsing my face with water and sometimes using the benzoyl wash. Then let's my face dry and apply the jojoba oil. Every 3 days I am using a turmeric wash also. I am breaking out more, but I want to give it time to see if it will improve. I'll update again in a month or so. it is super soft and nice though..great for lips!

I went natural and totally understand. Jojoba oil is amazing and can be used so many different ways... A few things that can help you along the way is to keep in mind when using jojoba oil as a moisturizer is a little goes a long if I use to much my skin breaks out all over again. As with many " non clogging " products can and will clog pores if to much is applied. There are a few ways to make sure you're getting that natural moisture you need without over doing it. I like to apply it after cleansing while skin is still on the wet side ( not dripping, a quick pass with the towel ) in order to lock in as much moisture as I can, let it dry, and if it's still tight or just not as moisturized as I'd like I'll apply a drop or two to hands run one hand over the other as to not rub into hands and pat on my face till its just moisturized. Or if I'm in a rush which is all the time and i want to make sure i haven't gone overboard after i apply jojoba oil i will take a tissue spit it in half so it's then 1 ply, lay it over my face and press to get off any excess that shouldn't be there. That way you get off any excess without taking to much off. With that said I also use jojoba as my cleanser whether it's just taking of the day or If I'm getting makeup off I'll cleans twice applying it straight to dry skin then washing it off with a damp (warm) washcloth. I find this keeps moisturizing after cleansing at a minimum too. Good Luck I'd love to hear how it goes for you : )

Eye infection
This is a great product not only did it make my skin smooth and less dry it also removed my acne scars!, although I must warn everyone though websites say you can put it under your eyes or on eye lids DONT!, I decided to try it and it gave me an eye infection which definitely is NOT worth it. So anyone that does get this product DO NOT put anywhere around your eyes. This does clog even though it says it wont. Just thought I should warn people before anyone makes my stupid mistake :) Other then that this is an amazing product with best price.

clogged my pores

Pros:

great moisturizer for lips & eyelids
eye make up remover

Cons:

clogs pores

I tried it on my face by adding 3 drops to the moisturizer a few nights in a row - every time it would give me a lot more pimples than usually. However, I`ve tried it on my eyelids and lips for mousturizing as they super dry while on regimen - and it works wonders!

Pros:

Takes away dryness and peeling....smooths skin

Cons:

Bottle dispenser broken on delivery

Seriously I thank my lucky stars I tried this stuff. I had been on the regimen about 2 weeks and was considering stopping just because of the itchy dryness I was experiencing. The regimen was clearing me up but my skin was so dry, tight and itchy I couldn't stand it. I tried the AHA first and it helped but still had too much itching. I decided to order this and I cannot believe what a difference it made overnight. I add just 2-3 drops with 1 pump of moisturizer now after the treatment and all the dryness is gone. My skin feels smooth and hydrated all day. So happy I gave this a try before quitting on the regimen because I am getting clear. Not sure how it would work for oily skin but for anybody having dryness be a problem for you, give a few drops a try. Doesn't feel greasy either. Only problem I had was the bottle top was leaking in the packaging when it arrived and seems to be broken. I read a few other reviews about the same problem.

Pros:

Moisturizing, organic, didn't make me break out, made my face smooth, healed red marks, eliminated dry skin.

Cons:

Made the skin on my neck itch sometimes

This product is AMAZING. I have tried everything in the books to cure my acne. Once I added this oil to my moisturizer every morning and evening, my skin is the clearest its been in 5 years. I don't normally review products, but this one works!

Pros:

excellent for a beard oil, nourishes hair follicles and prevents split ends and middles. great product, yeah its greasy if you use way to much, so use sparingly, two drops go a long way if your using it for your bare facial skin. ( in reference to other cons posted here)

Cons:

plastic container, i would recommend transferring your product to a glass jar upon receipt.

excellent all natural product for a really reasonable price, cant beat that!

Pros:

I love using it on my body. I either use it alone or mix it with one of my other moisture lotions. I use it as a eyemakeup remover too and plan to try it on my hair.

Cons:

It's an OIL and my whole life ive been taught to ONLY use Oil Free products on my face. Ive tried a few drops w/ Dan's lotion and it was verrrry oily. I still wanted to keep using it but I am just so scared it will make me break out terribly!

Confused. I asked my best friend (who is both a med student and a girl who has dealt with every kind of skin problem you can imagine in her 22 years) if an oil can still make you break out if its proven to be non comeodomic. She said that yes, it defiantly can because the oil creates a medium for bacteria to form. That makes sense to me. So, i'm not using it on my face for awhile. I also noticed that Dan's regular face lotion already has Jojoba oil in it, therefore making it not Oil Free, so i'm nervous to use that as well. It sucks because I have an extreme case of combination skin, where my skin will be dry, painful, and flaky right next to or on top of a pimple(s). I really liked the idea of Jojoba cos its natural. Oh well, I still am glad I got the bottle cos like I said, I use it for other stuff.

Pros:

Does moisturize

Cons:

I am extremely allergic to jojoba oil and didn't know it.

Try it out on a small area first. I put it on my lips and somehow ingested some and my throat started to close off. Be careful and make sure your not allergic to it first.
