Pros:

It was recomended for my polycystic ovaries and intense pains on the right hand side of my stomach

Cons:

Really bad mood swings, bloated, naseau, fatigue, blury vision

Stay off bith control pills and trust God to help you and direct you. Always research all pills that doctors recommend.

Pros:

As far as I know, it still works as birth control (I hope)

Cons:

Increased breast size (34C to 34D), back pain (due to the increase in breast size), breast tenderness (bad, to the point where not wearing a bra for a day will hurt), mood swings, decreased sex drive, no effect on acne, PMS bloating

This product just does not do anything good for me, considering all the side effects. I have been using it for three years and only in the last few (three or so) months has my skin cleared up, due to a combination of my ageing out of my bad skin period and a new regimen of cleansing and moisturizing. While I won't say that this product flat-out doesn't work, I have seen numerous side-effects in myself that I didn't have with my previous birth control, with no additional benefit to my skin. Some of my negative side-effects could be seen as good (breast growth) but overall have had negative impact on my life. My biggest caution is that women should track their moods when on any hormone pills, but especially Diane. I have found myself experiencing extreme mood swings that have taken me close to true depression numerous times. Scary in a pill that's prescribed to already unstable teenagers! I was lucky and went on it when I was 18 but if I'd been younger, it could have ended

Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

This made me break out so much worse than beforehand. I was on it for almost a year, and it made my skin disgusting. Each person has different skin, so Diane reacts differently to each person, but it obviously did not like me.

Terrible terrible pills.

Pros:

Actually I haven’t tried it and don’t intend to.

Cons:

Most afraid of possible development of breast and cervical cancer and also liver tumors.

I have acne that hurt. That brought me to my gynecologist who found polycystic ovaries and prescribed me Diane-35. I was supposed to start taking it today, but I won't do it, after reading the package leaflet. I've made a little research on my own and I want to shear it. Women with polycystic ovary syndrome usually have at least several of the many signs and symptoms associated with PCOS, including: Irregular or no menstruation, Signs of excess androgen, Enlarged ovaries with multiple cysts, Infertility, Obesity, Skin tags, Prediabetes.. [link removed] [link removed] The exact cause is not totally clear, but it is most likely that the body has much more insulin that it needs. Here is another helping link. [link removed] I'm gonna try the homeopathic way. I have acne for 12 years and I can wait for little bit longer to get rid of them. Support

Pros:

Cleared my face up completely.

Cons:

-Induced severed depression
-Caused me to lose 3/4 of my hair after I stopped taking it
-My acne came back after stopping this medication

I was on Diane 35 for about 5 years to treat acne. It worked amazingly in terms of keeping my face clear. HOWEVER, you are not supposed to be on this pill for more than a few cycles, which for some odd reason my doctor didn't seem to know. After doing my own research an realizing I had been taking them for way too long and how dangerous they are, I stopped taking them. As a result, my hormones are completely screwed up. My acne has come back full force, and to top it all off, it caused more than half of my hair to fall out almost immediately after I stopped taking them. BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT TAKE THIS PILL. It will temporarily clear your skin but in the end create a whole new set of problems. I would rather have just been a teen with acne. Now I am a BALDING 23 year old with acne. I hate my doctor. If your doctor is as reckless as mine and tries to give you this stuff, DO NOT TAKE IT. Oh yeah, did I mention that it also induced severe depression for me as well? Yeah, great stuff.

Pros:

It is starting to clear my acne - very slow process - doctors say it can take up to 6 months to start working

Cons:

I am concerned about breast cancer and its correlation with BC pill - my grandmother died of breast cancer and many people say that BCP could be a leading cause on breast cancer
My doctor said it is not true ......
I am so confused............

I suffer with acne since the age of 13 When I was 22 I started taking Diane 35 for BC and acne control My skin was just PERFECT - I mean, PERFECT !!!! Now I am 28 and I stopped taking it - in just 5 months I became a monster I felt so bad with all that acne on my face Embaressed about going out I started taking it again Now my skin is getting better - very gradualy

i have been on the diane pill for almost three weeks.. my skin has broken out horribly.. i never had bad skin before.. just the odd pimple here and there.. im on it for control of my cists, and birth control... should i get off of it? or is it normal to break out before it starts to kick in and clear my skin ?

Pros:

I been on the pill for almost a year and had so many side affects that made me end up in emergency room for so many times. I had hearts attacks and pannick attacks. Althought my skin is incredeablly cleared out.

Cons:

I'm suprised some people are experiencing bigger breasts. It actually made my breast saggy and lost firmness all over the body. End me up with lots of cellulites.

I would not use this pill because its not nice to have depression and no sex drive at all. So I wouldn't trade in acne with aother serious side affects.

Pros:

my menstruation period is regulated. my breasts got bigger, too.

Cons:

I still have break outs even using diane for 2 months already.

I just got this severe acne when I turned 21 (I'm turning 23 already. Before I had a great skin, but now, I have a terrible one! My derma told me that in my case (severe acne), I have to wait for 3 to 4 months to see the results. So far, I just feel worst! I didn't feel the result. I've tried many medications already but I always end up having big bumps all over my face. I've got to comment again here after I Have taken my 3rd pack of diane as to assess if its really effective to me. MAJOR BOTTOMLINE: Diane's result depends on the person.
