Pros:

it cleared my acne, but i didnt have much to begin with, still get a zit here and there.

Cons:

gained so much weight (within 6 months...25 lbs) even eating healthy, and i got blood cloths from taking diane 35.

dangerous, and the weight gain is depressing, wouldnt use it again, not worth my health. I rather be slim like i was, with that occasional pimple and knowing that i dont have any health risks I will sleep better at night. DO NOT USE DIANE 35

I read all comments nd suggestion realted diane 35 .. i need a little advise from.users of diane 35 .. who are taking it just to overcome the problem of acne... iam also facing acne problem.my acne is only my face.only on cheeks aera... for 3 -4 years ... sometime my acne totally vanished nd some time it grew again very badly...i am tired of using differnt face washes nd home remedies.. one of my freind suggest me to take diane 35 that it will help tu cure my acne problem... i want alll of u to suggest me to take medication.or not... please help me ...i reallly need to knw ...

I have been on Diane-35 for just over 4 months now and I am happy with the results. My skin is noticeably clearer. I used to always get deep, hormonal acne that is painful and nearly impossible to get rid of, and I haven't gotten these pimples for the past two months. This medication is definitely making my acne more manageable and I am happy with the results. You should ask your doctor if this medication is right for you. In my opinion, the pros outweigh the cons.

Pros:

clears the acne, eliminates oily skin.

Cons:

brown spots on face, constant severe stomach upsets, killer headaches, feeling sick all the time

Even though it cleared my acne i would never ever take it again or recommend it to anyone. I stopped taking it, it made me feel so sick it was not worth it. It was a temporary cure for my acne but the brown patches on my face are permanent.

Cons:

mood swings, no weight gain but am exercising every day and not losing any either

i was prescribed this pill by my dermatologist after suffering from acne caused by the use of another medication. i have been on diane 35 for 2 and a half months and it has been hell although i remain positive so start seeing results after the 3 months mark. i havnt had any serious side effects only feeling emotional and moody at times but i think that is all to do with the fact that i am having trouble coping with the way i look. i read these reviews all the time and i think people need to give the medication time to work, i know how horrible it is to deal with having acne but just try to remain positive. its a waiting game and there is nothing more you can do. remember to do only what the doctor or dermatologist has told your to and not try too many things at once out of desperation. i am so desperate to finally see results, hopefully in the next couple of weeks i should!!!

Pros:

none just yet.

Cons:

increased appetite, moodswings, cystic breakouts (they dont look like pimples, more like blisters)

i'm 18 and i've only just started to take diane 35. I'm about one and a half months into it, and my skin seems to be worse than it was before. i'll remain optimistic that it will begin to take affect around 3/4 months or even 6 months, but that still doesnt help in the mean-time. I hate looking in the mirror and have deliberately avoided seeing my friends on various occasions because my skin has been so bad. i have recently lost a loved one, and so i find i can cry a lot easier than ever before, where as before i barely EVER shed a tear. i really really hope the diane works for me because nothing else has in the past. but right now, i feel ugly.

breasts increased!, dont have to worry about condoms, know exactly when my periods gonna come

Cons:

no clear skin

this hasnt worked on my skin so hopefully it will although ive been on this for now 3 months it hasnt and im starting to loose hope.

Pros:

Clears up acne

Cons:

Mood Swings, depression, weight gain, head aches, anxiety, Zero sex drive....etc.etc....

I have read some of the comments here, and let me tell you I FINALLY feel like I had an answer as to why I was so "moody", had no sex drive andwas sad all the time...Problems concentrating, relationship problems (big time), hating myself, no desire to do a whole lot...I was a mess for the past 8 years that I was on Diane-35! After anti-depressants and a whole lot of trouble with NO solution,I finally gave up and started to research the last possible thing that could be the reason for my "issues", this pill. I went off of it, and like magic, I have been great! I can not say this will happen to ALL who take it but PLEASE think long and hard if you do consider it, there are other options for acne control out there (and in my case with Diane, Birth Control too).I ca't begin to say how relieved I am to finally have an answer though, thanks to all the girls who commented on this site!

Pros:

Nothing you can't get from a regular BCP (i.e. contraception, regular periods).

Cons:

Terrible cystic acne, just about every pore on my face turned into a black head, fatigue, no sex drive, depression, dizziness, weight gain, headaches, emotional instability and a general persistent desire for eating everything and committing suicide.

I didn't read any reviews or health warnings before I started taking this pill, but after a few months in it became evident something was seriously wrong. I lost will to get up. I barely even left the house anymore... I constantly felt sick, tired, depressed, and as woman I can easily say weight gain and TERRIBLE ACNE is not exactly an anti-depressant either. Each day I woke and looked in the mirror it was worse and worse to the point where I knew I had to stop this. Then on day I came online and discovered thousands of other women have had this same bad experience as me. At least now I can finally end this suffering and move on with a more healthy life now that I'm off it...

pill was taken for 2 months. no pros. but fuller breasts

it cost me 39$ canadian, not covored by the medicare card,moody, irritable, loss of wanting to live, jealous, always hungry, paranoid ...

Ive suffured from acne since i was 12. Iam now 23. was on alesse for five yrs. then tried yasmine,kinda expansive(not as much as diane) then wanted to try diane... dont go on diane. its a waste of time and money ... i dont know why this pill is legally on sale ...

didnt help skin,felt bloated and major mood swings

i have been on Diane for almost a year now and ive seen no change in my skin.A couple of my friends also tried it and didnt notice anything at all.I think if you are about to try diane to serioudly reconsider...not only is it not approved in the U.S.A but it not the best pill out there..My friends have gone on tri cyclen lo and proactiv and their skin is amazing..i gave diane a good shot and didnt work im finishing this pack then im done with it!i seriously think you should reconsider and consider other alternatives.
