Pros:

Clears up skin a little

I've been on the Diane for 6 months and my acne has improved a bit but it hasn't cleared up yet and I am getting very frustrated, I'm going to see another Dermatologist for a second opinion as I am getting scared of all the bad reviews when you come off this pill..I am not willing to take this pill for the rest of my life...it has been banned in the US for a reason and I regret taking it. On the other hand, I haven't had any adverse symptoms as yet, no weight gain or loss, no cellulite, no headaches or moodswings...but these may appear after extended use of the pill. Bottom Line, only take it if you have no other choice and you have tried EVERYTHING ELSE. Make sure to seek second and even third opinions.

Pros:

Skin completley clears up after 2 cycles. The only thing that has ever worked for me in over 15 years.

Cons:

Total lack of sex drive!!
I have not gained any wait or had an increase in my appetite, but the lack of sex drive is frusterating.

It is totally worth taking because it will clear your skin, especially if you have the kind of acne that causes cysts beneath the skin. Topical products will do nothing. The down side is, when i went off Diane-35, my acne returned within 2 months.

Pros:

Clearer skin, increase in breast size, regulated periods, birth control

Cons:

Depression, mood swings, loss of sex drive, cellulite, extreme weight gain

I'm 19 years old and I've been on Diane 35 for about a year now. I have to say that it really helped clear up my skin. I still get the occasional mild break out, but it isn't nearly as severe as before. You need to be patient though, because it took around 6 months for me to start noticing the changes in my skin. The first few months I used it, I would cry and get depressed for no reason and I couldn't figure out why. Also, I have gained about 15 lbs. since I have started using Diane. I have never had cellulite before, but now I'm starting to notice it on my butt and thighs. My advice would be to weight the pros and cons before you take Diane. I am personally going to get off of it, because the weight gain makes me really feel uncomfortable.

Pros:

Great Skin! No severe emotional side effects.

Cons:

Slight weight gain. Side effects started to show after 7 months on this pill

Not a bad pill at all. I had a lot of success! Periods remained long (5-6 days), and after about 7 months, I began to notice slight side effects. -Very emotional just before period (I guess this is normal, however I did not experience it during the first 6 months) - Changes in sex drive - Bloating - Dryness

Pros:

regular cycle, clear skin,

Cons:

bloating, NO SEX DRIVE!!! relaps in skin problems after stopping this pill, also takes ages to go back to normal after this pill, pretty expensive too

i don't think ill go back on this, i have my sex drive back now and feel so much better and happier off this, i've been off for 8 months and have only had 4 periods, which is a problem with trying for a bub. ive now started using pro-activ so the skin issue is resolved and i feel great, sex life going well too. i recommend trying other options prior to this

Pros:

I have had little brakeouts and it has cleared up a lot as it is my 4th month taking it. I still have some spots on my face to clear up but i am happy with the results so far. Hopefully it will all clear up soon

Cons:

I have had more food cravings and and i have mood swings. Also at times i do get emotional.

After having bad acne for 2 years now and have been on 3 antibiotics and used tons of topical creams, the pill works and has done wonders for me. It is all worth it. I am on Diane and wash my face in the morning with clyndimcin gel and at night apply benzol peroxide. Worth it. Excited for the end results hopefully it will all be gone soon and the pill will keep working it's wonders.

Pros:

It works really well, My acne has cleared.

Cons:

I gained a lil weight, but I noticed Im also getting wider hips and thighs, I wasnt really curvy before, so I love Diane 35

Diane 35 is great, You must try it. My skin looks so beautiful now, and I feel like a Woman again.

Pros:

completely clear skin, slow growing/no body hair after shaving

Cons:

weight gain, moody, constant bloated feeling, cravings, poor libido, scaring stayed but didnt look bad

took it a while ago along with minomycin and two creams: retin-a gel and duac <--- extremely effective i reccommend use of these alone if acne isnt too severe. my skin was completely clear and glowing and the effect was immediate. minomycin(no sure how to spell) makes your pimples to come out and appear red though but it helps to an extent, minomycin though is pretty crap. but after i stopped minomycin which initially helped my acne bulgaris on my back my face and back were completely clear and my side effect headches from the minomycin stopped so it wasnt diane 35 which (i thought) caused the headaches. take diane 35 only IF YOU NEED TO. it made me gain a lot of eight. lots of cravings and a poor libido. andi still have scars in light skin coloured appearance.

Pros:

My acne is gone.

Cons:

I feel like crying everyday, get mad easily.
Headaches, nauseas.

I don't know what to do! So I am going to see a dr. to ask for another pill.
