Diane-35 : Oral Contraceptive

Hoping will really take effect after 6 months of use (My Dermatologist told me). I'm crossing fingers 'cause I've been treating my pimples for five years but to no avail, but yeah, I started taking Diane-35 last December, and pimples cleared out 90 percent at the start of the fourth month of use. I hope pimples won't come back after 6 months of use!! Else, Diane-35 not really good, eih

It's synthetic - so who really knows what that will mean to me or my body down the line. I've been on it for 1 year and quite like it compared to others I've tried.

I've been taking Diane-35 for 4 years now, but I had three 6 months breaks. The acne reapered immeadiatly when i stoped. Actually, acne its not a big issue for me, but I have body hair and some facial and it really didnt work on it.

I've been on and off this pill for the last 10 years. For the first few years it worked very well, with no noticeable side effects, and cleared up my skin perfectly. I even lost 15 kgs. However in subsequent years I have put on the whole 15 and gained the same again. I have always eaten a healthy, quality diet but some big serves- perhaps the pill is affecting my appetite. Now, my skin is not so good- I have four active pimples including one nasty one on my back. I have been single for four years and wonder if this is related too! I find it creepy to be permanently dependent on artificial hormones, especially for such a long period of time. I'm anxious a lot, but I don't know if that's just my personality- it's hard to say when I've been on this pill for so long. So I have no painful or obvious side effects, but I suspect Diane could be responsible for some of my problems, and I have now decided to try other treatments eg zinc and vitamin A with topical prescription creams.

It's my second month taking the pills now. I had serious side effect in the first month such has emotional distability, depression, no sex drive. However, I am felling ok the second month I am taking it. I still do not have sex drive though. As to acne treatment, i do not know yet, becos I am still breaking out but for less. I am using retinol treatment as well at present. I will update later.

The fact that Diane 35 'makes skin beautiful' is the reason that i went on it,aswell as the fact that it is a contraceptive too.I would only recommend this pill to clear up acne because it does work.I have been on it for the past 4 months,but i have been wondering why I feel so depressed all the time.I snap at anything and cry every day.Even if a problem is small,i still get anxious and cry.I get headaches about 4 times a week,but they normally go away with panadol.I have become more anxious too.I am easily irritated.After reading these reviews I have decided to go off Diane 35 and go back to levlen.I am hoping that the pill is the cause of these problems so that it can go away.I really want to be myself again.Ladies,if this is happening to you then stop taking it and get your life back again.It definately isn't worth crying everyday!

I loved Diane when I fist started taking it. I didn't have the mood swings that I had had with every other bc....But after about 4 months of taking it, I developed cystic acne (i've never had acne in my life and i'm 23) and my hair started falling out. I am definitely switching soon. I also gained about 10 lbs. But I heard that is the norm with most birth control.

I've only been on the pill for two months, but can honestly say that my skin has improved dramatically, yet I put on 2kg. I haven't suffered depression or anything, my self esteem has sky rocketed!

I am only on my second month of Diane 35 but I've decided to end it because the amount of weight I have gained is an enormous amout. I went from very slim to chunky very quickly. I understand weight gain depends on the person. Acne was not a big issue for me, but what I had cleared up quickly. As for menstral pains, I still have them. I know you must stay on the pill for three months for Diane 35 to start working in that area. And another thing, since starting the pill I found myself very upset and depressed. I've seen some very good reviews, and some bad reviews. Depends on the person.

hi guys, its my first day on Dianette. Im using it as acne treatment not contraception. I havnt taken it just yet coz Im a bit confused on how im suppose to take it. It say's take the 1st tablet on the 1st day of ur next cycle. Do i wait even if im using it for acne. Can someone help please. Thanks
