Pros:

Made my boobs bigger.

Cons:

I keep breaking out very badly and my pimples are not going away, my boobs are extremely sore the week before and week of my period, I've gained a bit of weight and I have frequent mood swings. I am often depressed and now have poor self-confidence.

I've heard so many great reviews about Yasmin so I was ecstatic when my doctor put me on it. However, my skin was NEVER this bad before starting Yasmin and I've never broken out this badly. I've used this product for seven weeks now and people usually say they being seeing results after 2-3 months, so I guess I'll stick it out a little longer and see how it turns out.

Pros:

Knowing when my period is going to come, being able to skip my period when I have something on (i.e. holidays)

Cons:

Spotting after period, increased acne, expensive

For the first few weeks my skin cleared up, and then it flared up and hasn't gone down! It's been 3 months, and the types of pimples I get are different (I used to get just white heads, now my face is covered in tiny bumps, and I get blind pimples ALL THE TIME!!) The doctor recommended Yasmin to help with acne, but it's a MILLION times worse!!! I never even had it bad before, but now...

Pros:

it cleared up my skin. i have skipped quite a few pills here and there every month and i am still not pregnant.

Cons:

i get cramps and heavy periods and it's really expensive

if you don't want to get pregnant than it's for you but other than that it kinda sucks

Pros:

no breakthrough bleeding

Cons:

acne has flared up, hypoglycemia worsened, nausea since I started taking it, cost

I have been taking Yasmin for 3 weeks, switched from my last 2mcg pill as I was experiencing unstoppable breakthrough bleeding mid-cycle. I have felt nauseous since I started it and my blood sugar control is definitely worse. Not sure about changes in sex drive and I dont think it's affected my mood. I'm wondering if your skin gets worse immediately then starts getting better, like with Accutane??

Pros:

None

Cons:

Increased acne, small blister-like pimple patches on my cheeks & jaw line, my period came 2 weeks early

I started Yazmin to reduce breakouts instead I'm experiencing a new type of acne/rash. I'd intended to continue taking it to see if my skin would experience any benifit, but now my complexion is worse off. To top it off my period came early and is extremely heavy.

Cons:

Since starting Yaz, I ve been very emotional sometimes angry for no reason, crying for the slightest thing and very anxious. Also my acne worsened.I want to stop the pill because it's affecting my realtionships and my job.

Do you know what will happen if I stop the pill right away?

Pros:

Bigger boobs.
No babies.

Cons:

Severe acne outbreaks!
Breast tenderness.
More moody.

Ive been using Yasmin for about 3 months now and so far its done its job as im not pregnant. An increase in bust size is a huge bonus for me, but the acne outbreaks are a real drawback. Im going to stick it out another 3 months before reaching a conclusion.

Pros:

not sure

Cons:

alot

My doctor recently recommended that i take Yaz or Femcon, i've been reading up on both an femcon is really still in the test phase so i'm definitely not going with that, as far as Yaz,i was going to take it, but now that i'm reading evrything I don't think i wanna take any BC pills. There seem to be way too many risks.
