Pros:

REALLY WORKS
stops pimples from forming
dries up pimples and zits

Cons:

doesn't absorb well into skin
you can feel product on your skin
can't wear makeup on top of skin

My derm gave me zenyrit which is a topical erythromycin and zinc solution. this product works amazingly, the only downfall is that because it's an antibiotic the skin develops resistance to it and it will stop being as effective after 6 months of consecutive use. other than the resistance issue this really is an amazing product and works MUCH better than epiduo. When combined with benzyol peroxide this is a miracle cure...but again like many other things its only temporary

Pros:

Easy to apply, dries quickly
Results within 1 week

Cons:

Strong alcohol smell
Antibiotic, so resistance may occur

After using the topical gel for a month, I still have breakouts, but they are much smaller and less painful. My face is by no means clear, but it looks about 50% clearer. This is a great product to try after you have tried everything OTC. Stick with it and you will see results. Still a little worried it will stop working eventually due to bacterial resistance.

Pros:

Clearly made the size of my acne smaller and reduced the redness after two uses.

Cons:

None.

Really quick results and i'm showing no signs of side effects so I suppose its just in the person who is taking it as we are all different. Brilliant.

Pros:

cleared up my acne very well!
It was affordable with insuance

Cons:

Gave me terrible stomach aches
annoying to have to take it twice a day and with meals.

So I'm a high school student and I barely have time in the morning to eat breakfast, so I would just take this pill with a glass of milk. About an hour later I would get these awful stomach pains in the middle of class. When I first started it, the pain was like, eh, I can deal, but it started getting worse and worse as each day progressed. I was very sad when I had to go off of this though, as it was the first and only thing that cleared up my acne entirely. My doctor said that very few people have such a bad reaction as I did.

Pros:

works fast

Cons:

none :)

Well i just got my pills today. So i have no changes yet (obviously) but my sister has been taking them for 6 weeks, and 95% of her acne is gone, still some redness but it'l be gone soon. I'm hoping my skin does the same. As we are under 18 we do not have to pay. Sowe get a constant supply! I'm 15,but my acne is pretty bad that i have to cover it up with make up every day. Hopefully i wont have to anymore!

Pros:

Clears skin up definitely, but it takes time. Maybe 4 weeks when you see the real difference.

Cons:

Had diarroheoa twice, takes till the 4th week when you see a slight difference and spots not appearing

I took the 250mg e250 tablets, twice a day, pescribed by doctors. It's great, but im hoping i wont be getting spots back after i stop taking the tablets. I have not finished with the tablets, however it does actually work as it is antibiotics, and it is a powerful medication. Would reccomend it, but probably for a few months.

Pros:

Started using Clindamycin gel-made my skin WORSE!! Then after I researched other medications I requested Erythromycin tablets 2X day 500 mg, and instantly my skin changed for the better...

Cons:

No cons...No side affects, nothing...

Within the past year I have def done my fair share of research. I would highly recommend starting with an oral antibiotic. The creams and gels do no justice. I've read that acne is caused by a bacteria festering inside our bodies. Placing a topical solution on the "outler" layer will not cure the bacteria. Most importantly : Research your options and demand a change in prescriptions if you don't vision any improvements. Only you know your body... Good luck to all :-) There is hope...

Pros:

have used it for 5 days and so far soo good. It has dried my acne and seems to clear my black sports ( which are quite deep). I use it together with doxycline tablets which is an antibacteria.

Cons:

Leaves the face very dry especially in the morning which is quite embarrassing while working at my front desk job. Quite expensive without no insurance. Slightly affected my neck: rush like appearance and itching.

My doctor told me to skip a day or two which I just did a day ago. It works perfectly fine now. Make sure you don't touch the eye area with it coz it makes the eyes swell. I'm taking before and after pictures and so far sooooo good. Can anybody recommend a good facial moisturizer for normal to oily skin type?
