Pros:

This BP on the spot is not over-drying. It worked for me in about a month.

Cons:

The tube is small for such a high price. YOu have to apply alot and do it religously.

I now have friends and family coming up to me say that my skin looks great. I tried everything, from just face wash to tetracycline to benzaclin. This is the only product that has helped at all (I tried differin too).

Pros:

This stuff really works. No irritation because of being mild. I showed improvements in 2 days. It doesn't flake.

Cons:

the price for such a small amount but is worth it.

This is good and it works great. I have used it for about 3 weeks and my acne was sooo bad. On my way to the best skin ever.

Pros:

-Doesn't irritate my skin at all
-Clears up acne
-Doesn't hurt when I put it on

Cons:

Can't think of any right now
The smell could be better, actually.

This is my system: When I shower, at night, I use clinique extra strength on my face, chest and back to get rid of dirt and other crap on my skin. After my shower, I put the Neutrogena On-The-Spot Acne Treatment on my face, chest and back. I only use the Neutrogena at night, once a day so to not irritate my skin. Within 5 days after using this system consistently, I saw improvement in my blemishes. They seem to be going through the whole cycle more quickly. However, you can't stop using it for a few days after doing it consistently because it can cause the blemishes to return quickly. I love this stuff, and I would recomend it to anyone with moderate acne. I don't know if it is strong enough for severe acne. But, seriously, try it!

Pros:

easy to use, did not cause my skin to peel, did not irritate my skin like 10% benzoyl peroxide did

Cons:

took about a month for results

They key to benzoyl peroxide is consistency. I had to use this stuff religiously, every single night, for about 50 days before my skin cleared up. I had mild acne, but now it's almost completely gone. I couldn't be more thrilled. This is the first time I've had clear skin since 1999! My regimen is simple: 1. before going to bed, wash your face gently with a cleanser. 2. apply the On-the-Spot (or any 2.5% benzoyl peroxide) 3. wait for the bp to dry, and then apply moisturizer. That's it.

Pros:

This stuff works. Cleared my acne, almost 90% clear now.

Cons:

dries out skin, burns if you perspire even a bit.

I didn't see results until about a month after using. Also, I started out using it in combination with Clindamycin. I would apply the Clindamycin layer first then the One the Spot treatment. After two weeks my skin was so dry, felt like it would crack! I never bothered with moisturizer though because I'm terrified of clogged pores. Instead I just exfoliated as needed to get rid of flakes. I eventually removed the Clindamycin because I hear you become resistant eventually and just continued with this alone. Be patient and consistent - this stuff works.

Pros:

Does make my skin really red, dosen't makes me fleck, dosen't burn! Helps manage my skin.

Cons:

The container is small. I'm keeping track of it so I will know just how much I will need with the amount I use.

I had to stop using my prescribed med, so I needed something FAST! I found this, and I think I might just switch over to it. I don't feel the need to hide when I first put it on, let my original stuff, I actually look good. Best of all it seems to help my acne almost as good as my 5% bp stuff. Becuase it's not harsh, helping my skin to look great!

Pros:

It really helped my skin clear up, fast!

Cons:

It stops working after a while and you need to make sure you apply it correctly.

It something everyone should have in their make-up bag, in case of emergencies.

Pros:

slightly reduced the pimples in which I put them on. Is VANISHING so you can wear it in the daytime if you'd like. Feels like it is working

Cons:

I bit runny, feels like you are using too much
drying and if used over too large of an area makes your face red and irritated. itchy. smells like a normal disgusting acne treatment

don't wear under thick makeup...can get flaky. not worth it...there are way better things
