Pros:

Works quickly
Removes redness
Reduces swelling

Cons:

Price
Slightly drying

I came across the regimen about a month ago. I have tried soooo many things and spent sooo much money trying to find products that would work for my skin. I decided to first purchase On-the-Spot before purchasing Dan's BP (just to make sure I would have the same results I've heard so much about). I used it twice a day following Dan's regimen and I couldn't be happier. My skin has never been so even toned and clear! I first cleanse with Cetaphil gentle cleanser, then (after waiting five minutes to dry) I apply the 2.5% BP. I finish it off with Cetaphil lotion. Since the tube is so small (.75 oz), I decided it would be more beneficial to order Dan's BP. Hopefully it will work just as well! My only complaint (aside from spending eight dollars for a tiny tube) is that it is slightly drying. But a good moisturizer should help that. There is a slight burning sensation as well, but it's not painful. It kind of feels like a minor sunburn. As I continued to use the BP, my skin got used to it and the burning sensation disappeared after time.

Pros:

Does what it is supposed to.

Cons:

Very expensive.
Cream Based.
Small Container

This stuff does the same thing that Dan's BP does but there are some pretty drastic differences. The first being the cost. It is $6 for a .75 ounce tube. Insane considering how much you are supposed to use. The second downside is that it is a cream and not a gel. This makes it sit on top of the skin and made it impractical for anytime other than at night. I used it while I was waiting for Dan's BP to come in the mail and it got my face good and adjusted for Dan's. After trying Dan's BP for just one day I will never go back. There really is no comparison.

Pros:

Relatively inexpensive
Seemed to help with smaller break outs

Cons:

VERY DRYING
I found that leaving it on overnight left me with red blotches on my skin in the am

I am kind of iffy on this product. I have mild acne, usually only experiencing break outs the week prior to my period. I found that while this product did in fact dry out the pimple, it would often leave my skin red and irritated, almost impossible to conceal with makeup, which was often more embarrassing than the breakout itself. It was also very drying, leaving my skin flaky in treated areas. Basically, the product may help reduce the size and longevity of your pimple, but battling the redness and dry skin is almost worse.

Pros:

dries clear
did help some of my acne

Cons:

to small of tube for the price
can be drying
only works on small pimples that just formed
makes acne cysts swell to a bigger size

this did nothing for me in clearing my acne. It only worked for awhile and then did nothing for me anymore. Finally i started using acne free severe and it cleared my acne up dramatically. This did nothing and i do not recomend it for people with more than the ocasional brake out

Pros:

Easy to apply
Seems to be the only 2.5% BP

Cons:

Extremely drying
Small bottle for the price

I have very very sensitive skin, and i thought that this was the main culprit of my dryness. I found out it was my cleanser, so i will have to give this stuff a try with my new cleanser and see how it goes! I haven't been seeing that much of a difference in my skin, but i'll keep on keeping on.

Pros:

Not to dry, works fast!!

Cons:

None

It really works for me. I've seen some reviews that said that it burned, well I don't know how bad they're skin is but for 5 people that I know and use the product it doesn't burn at all.

Pros:

not as harsh as the typical 10% over the counter creams;
works like a dream

Cons:

can be drying;
tube sooo small;
stains sheets

This stuff is the only brand/consistency that will clear my forehead comedonal acne. During Houston's hot and humid summers, I tend to develop tiny bumps on my forehead. I rub this into my forehead before bed, follow with a heavy moisturizer, and wake up to smooth skin! :) Key for me is using the product on a regular basis, even if I have no existing bumps.

Pros:

If you apply this on small pimples that just appeared, they will most likely disappear overnight.

Cons:

It might be part of the healing treatment, but it swelled my acne/cysts and pimples. I kept using it for around two weeks and cysts would form and last over a month.

For me, this product only seemed to make my acne worst. I'm a senior in high school and I've had acne for about 5 years. However, some products take out the bacteria and all the bad stuff so acne will swell and then vanish. That didn't happen to me within two weeks. A change in diet didn't affect the cysts as far as I'm aware. I have small acne on my cheeks and when I applied the spot treatment on some acne, they became cysts and I've never had cysts on my cheeks before. I would much rather have the acne on my cheeks then have giant, red cysts all over just to cure them. It's not exactly a cheap product for me and I now use minimal amount of the Queen Helene Mint Julep mask to dot over small acne. A tip that will help anyone, no matter how oily your skin is: DRINK A LOT OF WATER. You can buy all the acne products in the world, but flushing out your system with water will benefit your skin best. I started drinking tons of water this year and my skin cleared up immensely.

Pros:

Reduce Redness
Heal Fast

Cons:

Dry and may irritate the skin for first time user

I just bought the Neutrogena On the spot Treatment for less than one week, i can see that the pus came out after two days of applications, which is more effective and faster than other medicine i tried, However, skin may be dry and flaky, thus moisturizer is recommended to use.
