Pros:

Excellent product. I have been using this for almost a month. I usually have oily skin and this product reduces the oil and greatly enhances my appearance. My son has also been encouraged to try this product for the same reasons. It is great.

Cons:

A bit itchy at times, but worth the itch.

Get it today, do not delay! I have tried many, many products and this is absolutely, positively the best yet!

Pros:

I've used it a few different times over the years, it seems like someone always has a tube. I usually don't apply consistently, and only dab a tiny amount directly onto the blemish. I've never had any dry skin, but I have noticed much improvement.

Cons:

None that I can think of.

We're a "fast" nation. Nobody wants to wait for anything (instant oatmeal, microwavable meals, fast food, 30 minute delivery, 60 minute tire gaurentee, etc). Well, I hate to break the news, but healing (including acne) takes time. Side Note: Those bitching about the price, it's called "ON THE SPOT" for a reason, not to be used over your entire face... that's why it's drying out doufus! I get huge dime-sized painful blemishes under on my neck around my jawbone line, and outside of taking oral medication for 1 or 2 break outs a month (which is ridiculous so I don't take the medicine), this product does wonders at reducing the size and severity at the detection of one of these monsters. I rated my acne moderately severe because I only get a few blemishes, but when I do, it's pretty severe! haha

Pros:

easy to use, did not cause my skin to peel, did not irritate my skin like 10% benzoyl peroxide did

Cons:

took about a month for results

They key to benzoyl peroxide is consistency. I had to use this stuff religiously, every single night, for about 50 days before my skin cleared up. I had mild acne, but now it's almost completely gone. I couldn't be more thrilled. This is the first time I've had clear skin since 1999! My regimen is simple: 1. before going to bed, wash your face gently with a cleanser. 2. apply the On-the-Spot (or any 2.5% benzoyl peroxide) 3. wait for the bp to dry, and then apply moisturizer. That's it.

Pros:

none

Cons:

does not work

I've used Neutrogena on-the-spot acne treatment for a month or longer and I can say that it does not work at all. I had two small pimples that I could feel developing and applied this on them but within a few days they have gotten worse. For the pimples that were already present, this product does nothing to them. All it does is leave dead dry skin where I mostly apply it. It does not work at all.

Pros:

Smells Nice
Cheap

Cons:

Doesn't do anything

This is the first acne treatment I have ever bought (when I was 10 now im 12). It's the smallest f**king tube ever and IT DOESNT DO ANYTHING. Since it's a cream, it didn't absorb it just dried into a little crust on my face. DON'T PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT.

Pros:

Don't waste money on it There are many cheap, organic, and quicker methods. Like: egg whites, honey, lemon juice, and more. Don't waste money on expensive things like Neutrogena.

Cons:

EXPENSIVE, DRYS SKIN

Don't get it.

Pros:

- Diminished acne when it showed up on my skin
- You don't need to use too much of the formula to cover problem spots
- The percent of benzoyl peroxide is 2.5%, meaning it's a lot less harsh on your skin
- Formula turns clear when applied on skin

Cons:

- First using this product, my skin became irritated and turned red for the day
- Product doesn't necessarily prevent acne. I've found that this product diminished the acne I had present on my face, but on occasions I would get new pimples
- For such a small product, you have to pay a ton of money for it!

This product is decent. After a while, I found that my skin got used to the product, and I didn't turn red anymore. I haven't had problems where my acne gets worse; I find that I only get new acne when I'm getting stressed out and just having teenage problems?...haha. It's a little pricy, so look into other reviews before buying this product. I use Neutrogena's On-the-Spot Acne Treatment only ONCE A DAY, applying the product at night.

Pros:

-Reduces Redness
-Dries out existing acne

Cons:

-Does not help with preventing new acne from forming

I would recommend this product if you have light acne, but for moderate to severe types, it's not worth wasting the time or money.

Pros:

-Doesn't leave white streaks like the Clean and Clear BP as long as you let it settle in
-Doesn't 'ball up'
-Not overly drying

Cons:

-Small bottle, expensive

I finally decided to try the regimen when one night, like Dan, I slathered 10% BP all over my face and found it to be rather effective. But like Dan the 10% was too much for my face so I switched over to this. So far it's been working fabulously, it really does help keep my acne at bay and my skin is the clearest it's been in two years. It IS BP so it WILL dry out your skin. Use moisturizer, it is very important. I have extremely sensitive dry skin, I stuck with the regimen and now my skin is used to the BP. I don't feel redness or anything, and sometimes I can even use 10% BP all over my face when I run out of the 2.5%. If I can use this product everyone else should be able to! No excuses ifs or buts, this is truly an amazing regimen and everyone should give it a go. A little discomfort is well worth being acne-free.
