Pros:

Easy to apply
Seems to be the only 2.5% BP

Cons:

Extremely drying
Small bottle for the price

I have very very sensitive skin, and i thought that this was the main culprit of my dryness. I found out it was my cleanser, so i will have to give this stuff a try with my new cleanser and see how it goes! I haven't been seeing that much of a difference in my skin, but i'll keep on keeping on.

Pros:

- Diminished acne when it showed up on my skin
- You don't need to use too much of the formula to cover problem spots
- The percent of benzoyl peroxide is 2.5%, meaning it's a lot less harsh on your skin
- Formula turns clear when applied on skin

Cons:

- First using this product, my skin became irritated and turned red for the day
- Product doesn't necessarily prevent acne. I've found that this product diminished the acne I had present on my face, but on occasions I would get new pimples
- For such a small product, you have to pay a ton of money for it!

This product is decent. After a while, I found that my skin got used to the product, and I didn't turn red anymore. I haven't had problems where my acne gets worse; I find that I only get new acne when I'm getting stressed out and just having teenage problems?...haha. It's a little pricy, so look into other reviews before buying this product. I use Neutrogena's On-the-Spot Acne Treatment only ONCE A DAY, applying the product at night.

Pros:

- Effective at preventing new breakouts
- Does not clump up with moisturizers like many benzoyl peroxide creams do
- Less irritating than most other over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide creams (because of its 2.5% concentration)

Cons:

- Not practical for long-term use due to price and size

The actual product is terrific. Maybe one day 2.5% BP will be widely available in drug stores, in larger sizes, at reasonable prices. The reason this is so expensive is because Neutrogena knows that your options are limited, and they are getting what they can out of you for selling you this rediculous .75oz. tube for $6 - $8. Please, do yourself a favor, and go with Dan's BP. Only use this if you live in a country in which Dan's BP is not practical for shipping reasons.

Pros:

Shrinks pimples
Dries quickly

Cons:

Stings
Leaves unaffected skin overly dry
Some white residue

I used this cream when I started the Regimen. It worked decently, but mostly as a spot treatment: it didn't seem to prevent new pimples from forming. At the price, which is exorbitant if you use it as the Regimen recommends, I decided to switch to Dan's gel. I recommend this if you need occasional treatment for a pimple or two. It's too pricey for anything more.

Pros:

It works

Cons:

It doesn't work

This is one of those crazy benzoyl peroxide treatments. If you dont put it on a CLEAN face it makes it worse. It reacts badly with chlorine, This worked great for a week. Then i went swimming and put it on after, it burned my face. I know it works. Just not 4 me. I would definitely try it but dont get your hopes up to high.

Pros:

it does clear up some pimples, and reduce blemishes

Cons:

frigging drying! May cause peeling, burning sensation.

IM FREAKING OUT OKAY, I GOT A 2 BROWN PATCHES WHERE I APPLIED THIS PRODUCT! Dont listen when ppl say to put it all over, just use this on pimples directly. It does help, but dont use this product excessively. And if ya feel a weird burning sensation, my advice is to wash it off before skin discolouration occurs.

Pros:

Cleared up a huge zit on nose after a few hourly applications ( i HAD to make it go away ) and it reduced the pimple! thanks so much, if not i would have gone to school with an angry, fiery pus filled huge pimple on my nose (the terror)

Cons:

Doesnt smell as good as rapid clear 8h gel, kinda pricey..

I would use it for cysts, and occasionally those pus filled ones. But if its more serious i would use the 8h eliminating gel instead..
